35 Foul Mouth

"Heng'er"

Ning Hai Heng's face was still slothful but there were traces of melancholy, he hummed.

"Will Xiao Wan be like that forever?" Ning Rou Li looked down while there a slight crease between her eyebrows. Zhu Xiao Qian was in a deep slumber, procrastinating his death; Zhu Xiao Wan was blinded and paralyzed. Their own lives were miserable enough, now not even the Ning Family could do anything to help. She felt like it was the Ning Family that was the target of those men, and because of their own crisis, the Zhu siblings became like that. Ning Rou Li couldn't help but felt guilty, especially when she recalled that it was Zhu Xiao Wan's birthday eve.

He raised his head to look towards the grassland that Zhu Xiao Wan always sat or lied down to waste away the days. It ached his heart a bit seeing her so lifeless. Maybe because of Song Hui Yao always carrying her around and the one that talked to her the most, he felt a bit at ease. But, that strange scythe and her miserable state...He was not sure...

"I don't know..."

Zhu Xiao Wan had not spoken to them since the day she woke up. Unbeknownst to her, the Ning siblings had clumped themselves in their dolour.

-----

At the Thousand Rain Sect, Zhuang Che was pacing back and forth in the living room. Cursing his own son, "That damn rascal!"

While they were talking a month ago about the Green Wind Country's backer, that rascal ran out midway and took off. A month later, he was still not back; Zhuang Che was having a hard time calming his vexation. Just what'd happened that made him so angst?

"Sect Master, Young Master Yin is back!"

"That brat finally back?" Zhuang Che sauntered to the front door and spotted the silhouettes of three people. 'Now who did he brought back?'

When they got closer, he saw flawless countenance of a young man, it was so perfect that he wanted to trade his face with the young man; the young man was even more handsome than him when he was young. What shocked him even more, was that the young girl in his arms bore resemblance to a white porcelain doll. Her visage was truly impeccable, but because her eyes were quite dull, she truly appeared to be a lifeless doll. As the wind blew gently, their lustrous silver and black hair intertwined. This sight was like a beauteous scenery from a painting, only...It was marred by his son. But was there something wrong with the girl for her to be carried?"

"Hello," He greeted Song Hui Yao and Zhu Xiao Wan before turning to his son. "Xiao Yin, are they you're friends?"

"Well, yeah..." Zhuang Yin tilted his head to look at the two 'friends'. Then he introduced them, "This is Song Hui Yao and Zhu Xiao Wan."

Zhuang Che gasped, 'Zhu? It wouldn't be the Young Miss from the Zhu Family?'

"Is that so?" He said politely, "Young Master Song and Young Miss Zhu, please come in."

Song Hui Yao nodded and conveyed Zhu Xiao Wan into the house, the Zhuang father and son followed behind. For some reasons, the owner of the house seemed to be Song Hui Yao than Zhuang Che.

They sat down in the living and Zhuang Che smiled, "Did Xiao Yin invited you to our house? If so, please don't be too polite."

Song Hui Yao took care of the nonsense talking for her while she was putting in a lot of attention to her ears and nose - so she didn't focus on their chat. She could quite guess that there were three more people in the room from hearing the sounds around her. Guards? No, Zhu Xiao Wan sensed an arrogant air of a person behind Zhuang Yin's father looking at her.

Perceived the person in his arms was perplexed, Song Hui Yao reckoned that she was pondering about who was staring at her. He was about to ask Zhuang Che who the person was, but he was a step ahead of him.

"Why is she sitting in your arms? It looks kind of like intimacy." The person asked while puzzling the possibilities as to why they were sitting with such intimate postures.

Both Song Hui Yao and Zhu Xiao Wan were caught off guard when they heard his queer and unpredicted query. If they were normal people, they would undoubtedly chock on their saliva.

Even though it was very faint, Zhuang Che noticed their facial features were shifting into odd directions on their remarkable countenances. He coughed dryly, "This is my second son, Zhuang Yang. I'm sorry for my his foul mouth..."

Song Hui Yao observed his face and smiled. He was curious but kept on beating around the bushes while his son could no longer wait for his father to finish beating through the bushes. It was quite amusing to watch but it was a shame that the little girl couldn't see it.

"It's understandable, anyone would have the same idea if they see us like this," Song Hui Yao laughed gently. "I am taking care of her because she can not see, it wouldn't be convenient for me to leave her at some random place."

What random place, he could just let her sit next to him; the only one who was blind was her not him. Zhuang Yang rolled his eyes inside at Song Hui Yao's ridiculous explanation. Was it that his eyes had some problems and had trouble seeing? The girl wouldn't have a chance of getting lost if his eyes were perfectly fine.
