46 Fallen In Love

While Song Hui Yao had to accompany Tang Rue until the emperor's birthday came, Zhu Xiao Wan was prying for more knowledge that was outside the kingdom of Qianyu from Zhuang Yang. Because she was still young, the Zhu couple didn't teach her anything much yet about the outside world.

Zhuang Yang contemplated at her and said, "You should now that the continent you are on is Dongtian[1], right?"

"Mmm."

"Well, there is another continent - Xitian[2]. Xitian Continent is like its name, the continent of the west. But let's just talk about Dongtian Continent."

Dongtian Continent was on the east and there were five regions on this continent. The Penurious Region was where they were at now. The Palatial Region was the opposite of the Penurious Region, they were rich and most of the population(commoners) lived a good life without poverty.

The Vermilion Firmament Region was a region that had a red sky and not blue, most of the region was covered by the Forest of Brume. The Verdure Region was the region of apothecaries; which was next to the Vermilion Firmament Region and also had a small part of it covered by the Brume's Forest.

And the fifth one was the Gold Sand Region. The region was by the sea and it was at the coastline of the continent. Beyond the coastline in the Gold Sand Region was Xitian Continent, the place where most people, specifically, young people wanted to go.

"I haven't been there, not everyone can go to the Xitian Continent." He sat down and carried on, "But most of the people from the Xitian Continent don't have many problems to come here..."

"So there are people from the Xitian Kingdom here?" Zhu Xiao Wan queried.

Zhuang Yang nodded, "But most of them are in the Palatial Region and the Gold Sand Region...I doubt that they would come here...Here is a penurious and poor place after all."

"..."

Well, that did help her a bit; which reminded her. Pao Min didn't find out about who those foreigners were. Those people that Pao Min talked about, was it the people from the Xitian Continent? If so, she was aspired to identify who they were even further. "How do you go to the Xitian Continent?"

"How? Well, there is a competition in the Palatial Region each year called The Occident Tournament. The competition would allow all people to participate. However, mostly, people with high talents would last, that is obvious." Zhuang Yang then sighed as he looked at the smooth ground. "We aren't strong enough to rival those big sects so my brother and I would never have a chance to be in the Main Peregrinate List to go to the Xitian Continent."

"The Main Peregrinate List?"

"Those that are able to go are only five people that had survived the tournament. Hence, those that ranked fifth and above would be listed the The Main Peregrinate List.

"Mother~" Tang Rue hastened into her mother's chamber while beaming even brighter than the sun.

Noble Concubine You was sitting at the dressing table when she heard the sweet voice of her darling little girl and twisted her neck to turn her head around. Instantly, she smiled and her smile was filled with warmth. "Rue'er."

"Mother, I think Prince Shen might have fallen for me." Tang Rue was so happy that she couldn't sit still and walked around the room. Telling everything that Song Hui Yao had did for her, chiefly at the auction where he bought her the 55,000 silver coins elixir. "Mother, do you think he's in love with me?"

Sitting on her comfy chair, Noble Concubine You was in deep thought. 55,000 silver coins was a lot of money and Prince Shen was willing to spend such a large amount of money for her daughter. If he really liked her Rue'er, that would be great. She should ask the emperor to give a decree for them to marry again at the banquet. "Of course, he would be blind if he didn't love you, my dear."

"Mother~" Tang Rue pouted her lips, looking cute as she said sulkily, "Don't tease me..."

"Mother isn't teasing you, Mother is just speaking the truth." Noble Concubine You laughed gracefully.

Tang Rue strode to her mother and gave her a hug, "Mother, I love you~"

She couldn't wait to meet Song Hui Yao again on her father's birthday.
