24 The Overprotective Family Part One

The next morning Lin Xiaoxiao woke up as normal and did her daily routine. It was just that this morning she was a bit more tired than usual. Since the incident, last night had happened. Lin Xiaoxiao and Shen Xing threw all their concerns out the window and went at it like two rabbits locked in a cage. But even still Lin Xiaoxiao dragged herself out of bed in order to get ready so she could help Qin MEi with her move today.

After breakfast Lin Xiaoxiao called Little Bo so that they could meet up downstairs. Lin Xiaoxiao was a little nervous since this would be the first time she would be seeing Qin Mei since she changed the way that she would address Qin Mei. Although she was nervous she was still excited that she was going to be able to see Qin Mei again.

As soon as Lin Xiaoxiao walked out of the elevator she stopped dead in her tracks. In front of her were five men in black suits and black sunglasses standing behind Little Bo. The first thing that came to Lin Xiaoxiao's mind was that science fiction movie with the mean in black suits who chased around aliens. Just this thought made Lin Xiaoxiao snicker under her breath. Little Bo on the other hand looked like a frightened chicken and as soon as she saw Lin Xiaoxiao she hurriedly scurried over to her.

"Lily! Lily! Who are these people!?" Little Bo quickly ran next to Lin Xiaoxiao and interlocked her arms with hers.

"I don't know but they wont do anything here so I wouldn't worry about it too much." Lin Xiaoxiao said nonchalantly. She then stepped forward and continued walking towards the exit until she was standing in front of the five men in black suits. As soon as she stopped the five men all respectfully bowed and yelled: "Good morning Madam!"

Being called Madam out of nowhere made Lin Xiaoxiao's lips twitch. She had a feeling she was going to get a headache today. She looked at the five men and asked: "May I know who all of you are?"

"President assigned the five of us as your bodyguards for when you go out from now on." One of the men in black suits said.

"President? You mean Xing?" Lin Xiaoxiao was finally understanding what was going on. Before the man in the black suit could answer Lin Xiaoxiao had already pulled her cell phone out and called Shen Xing.

"Xiaoxiao is something wrong?" Shen Xing who had picked up the call on the first ring was currently sitting in a conference room full of his department heads. They all looked at Shen Xing with wide eyes trying to figure out who was so important that even the president would pick up the phone during a meeting.

"Nothing really wrong, but did you set up a bunch of men in black to be my bodyguards?" Lin Xiaoxiao did not mind having bodyguards but she had to confirm that he was the one who sent them. She was not sure if that bitch of a sister of hers had somehow found out where she lived or not. There is a saying 'caution is the boat' meaning one should exercise caution. So it was better to confirm it with Shen Xing directly before just blinding believing in the words of some unknown man.

"Un. I did they are to follow you when you go out. After what happened the other day I can only rest assured if you have them with you when you go out. I hope you do not mind me deciding this on my own without saying anything to you first." Shen Xing who was happily talking on the phone had completely ignored the presentation that was being given. The department heads did not dare stop the presentation and suffer the president's wrath so they continued on like Shen Xing was not even on the phone.

"It's fine as long as you were the one who sent them. I will bring them with me when I go out for now on." After saying goodbye and hanging up the phone, she looked at the man in the black suit in front of her and asked: "Since Xing sent you that means you will be following me around. What's your name?"

"Zhao Yi, Madam. I'm the squad leader." The man in the black suit once again bowed to Lin Xiaoxiao.

"Then Zhao Yi… May I ask why you are calling me Madam?" Lin Xiaoxiao knew it was something that Shen Xing said but she still had to ask to satisfy her curiosity.

"President said that this is what we should call you." Of course, it was just as Lin Xiaoxiao had thought. Lin Xiaoxiao sighed inwardly she could not say he was wrong in calling her that. Since in the future she would become Shen Xing's wife. Letting out another sigh Lin Xiaoxiao waved her hand as she said: "Ok then let's go. My mother is waiting."

Lin Xiaoxiao was somewhat shocked at how naturally the words mother came out of her mouth when referring to Qin Mei. After realizing this Lin Xiaoxiao smiled as she continued to pull Little Bo along with her.

But the surprises of the day was not yet over for Lin Xiaoxiao, when she walked out of the building, what was waiting for her was a black six-door H2 Hummer short stretch limo. Lin Xiaoxiao was starting to wonder if she was on some kind of hit list or something. Between the five bodyguards and now a limo that looked like some kind of tank she could only bitterly smile. She knew Shen Xing was doing this for her so she just sighed and accepted it. Lin Xiaoxiao and Little Bo got into the middle section of the limo as three of the bodyguards took the back section. Zhao Yi was the driver and the last bodyguard got into the passenger seat. It was almost as if Lin Xiaoxiao was some nations leader at this point. The only thing the limo was missing was the flags of whichever country she ruled.

When they had finally reached Qin Mei's apartment building, Lin xiaoxiao stepped out of the car with Little Bo in tow. The people who were doing there day to day activities stopped to look when they saw five men in black suits surrounding two young women. Lin Xiaoxiao found it somewhat funny as she was used to the stares of people when she was out and about. This was due to her past life as an actress. Being a top actress made it so peoples eyes were always on you, watching your every move. But for someone like Little Bo this was all new and it made her somewhat self-conscious. This was noticed by how she tightened her grip on Lin Xiaoxiao's arm when every one laid their eyes on to them. Lin Xiaoxiao, felt this was a good experience for Little Bo so that Little Bo could get used to being stared at by strangers. So she could only thank Shen Xing for being so overprotective.

Lin Xiaoxiao's thoughts were interrupted when she got off the elevator and heard a man yelling at the top of his lungs. "Qin Mei you bitch you are you really going to up and leave like this?" Hearing these words made Lin Xiaoxiao frown. Someone actually had the nerve to call her mother a bitch?

"Yin Dong when has it ever been your right to tell me what to do with my life. Far as I know we have nothing going on between the two of us! So stop being such a bastard and just leave already!" Qin Mei was furious she only wanted to pack her things and this bastard had to show up! Ever since she quit yesterday this bastard has not left her alone at all.

"What did you just call me?" Yin Dong who was already furious hearing Qin Mei call him a bastard pissed him off even more. " I dare you to call me a bastard again Qin Mei!" Yin Dong roared.

"If you were not acting like a bastard I wouldn't call you one, to begin with. But the way you are acting right now is how a bastard would act this is why I called you a bastard, Bastard!" Qin Mei would not back down, she was hopping Yin Dong would storm off in rage before Lin Xiaoxiao showed up.

This whole time Lin Xiaoxiao was watching this scene unfold in front of her. Qin Mei and Yin Dong were both fighting in the hallway so this was very hard to miss. But when she saw Yin Dong fist start to clench as he went to raise his hand, Lin Xiaoxiao could not sit still any longer and ran as fast as she could towards Qin Mei!
