34 Disturbance On Set

Director Lou waved his hands in front of him as he exclaimed: "No! No! That is what I should be saying to you. You are the female lead after all. Come, come, we have one scene to shoot first before we do your scenes for today." Director Lou went to grab Lin Xiaoxiao's hand to pull her along only to have his hand stop centimeters away from Lin Xiaoxiao's hand.

"Director Lou I do not think there is any need to be grabbing my fiancee." Shen Xing who was completely ignored from the start grabed ahold of Director Lou's wrist. 

"P-P-President! I-I'm sorry I got too excited knowing that Miss Lily showed up. I thought something had happened to her since I was told this morning that she was heading to the hospital." Director Lou was scared to death he did not even realize that Shen Xing was standing there. Sweat started to perspire out of his body. He looked at Lin Xiaoxiao's arms that were both interlinked with someone and realized how blind he had been! He cursed his own stupidity in his heart.

"It's fine Director Lou.  Just don't touch my fiancee in the future is all." Shen Xing really did not care at all he just did not like people touching his baby girl!

The film crew and other cast members of The Princess's Knight all looked on with interest. But once they heard that the lead actress was the President's fiancee their interest in her dwindled and their discontent raised. They all looked at Lin Xiaoxiao with eyes of disgust. 

"She slept with the president no wonder she got the lead role. So disgusting!" 

"I bet she can't even act. Here I thought I had finally got accepted into one of Director Lou's movies and we have a newbie actress who slept her way into the lead role. The movie will probably get bad reviews now..."

"I bet I could play a better lead female than her and I'm a guy!"

"Hmmm….. Seems some of the cast does not like me. Director Lou do you mind shooting one of my scenes first so that I can shut these third rate actors up. Otherwise, the bullshit coming out of their mouths won't stop until I put them in their place." Lin Xiaoxiao was not one to mince words when it came to cast members talking behind people's backs. Especially when they were talking about her acting skills. She had once been the top female actress, world-renowned, who could play any role with ease! But these people here think they are better than her? Humph, she will just use her acting to crush them. 

Director Lou was a bit startled by what was going on. For someone who had personally witnessed Lin Xiaoxiao's acting, he could not help but shake his head. 'These people are just digging their own graves if they want to compare themselves with Lily Xiaoxiao!' He looked at the few cast members that had to just go and open their mouths, his gaze looked at them full of pity. He had a feeling after today he was going to need to find some replacement members.

The people who had spoken up were just extra's and none of the main cast said a word. They knew who the president was and they were not dumb enough to open their mouths. Even if Lin Xiaoxiao was a horrible actress they would still praise her for being good. All just to get in the good books with Shen Xing! The extras that came in from different companies were the only ones who spoke up. 

"If Miss Lily would like to shoot a scene first then I do not mind. Which scene would you like to shoot?" Director Lou was very happy to assist Lin Xiaoxiao. Since she was the future madam of Empire Group and his future boss there was no way he would not agree to anything she asked of him.

"You can pick. It does not matter to me even if its a scene we do does not have a script for yet. I will act it out." Lin Xiaoxiao was so confident in her words that the people who had spoken out started to worry a little. 

"Then Miss Lily with the set we have constructed for today's scenes we can do this scene here." Director Lou who had a full script in his hand pointed out a scene to Lin Xiaoxiao. This scene was one that had to be acted out alone. Director Lou chose this scene because Lin Xiaoxiao would not need to be dragged down by someone who had not read the script for this part yet and it would allow her to showcase her talent without being dragged down.

Lin Xiaoxiao read the script and a smile appeared on her face. "Un! Good!" Lin Xiaoxiao then looked at the few crew members who had said something earlier with a mocking smile on her face as she said slowly: "Let me show you what real acting is and just how inferior you are to me."
