61 Congratulations!

Time passed and three months flashed by like it was nothing. Both Lin Xiaoxiao and Shen Xing were getting along just fine. They had been at it every night working hard at making a baby as Lin Xiaoxiao wanted. Filming for "The Princess's Knight" was going by without a hitch. Thanks to Lin Xiaoxiao leading most of the actors during her parts the filming was going smoothly. A few more months and the filming will be all done. Qin Mei and Little Bo had settled into their roles as Lin Xiaoxiao's manager and assistant as well. Qin Mei now would not leave Lin Xiaoxiao's side for a second when she was out and about with her and made sure that her new bodyguards plus Zhao Yi were always with them as well. Qin Mei did not want a repeat of what happened before. Since Xi Shen's wife and children seemed to have gone into hiding. Shen Xing had been making sure to keep Qin Mei up to date on his findings as he searched all over City A for them. But until they were found there was still a chance for Lin Xiaoxiao to be put into a dangerous situation like before.

This particular morning Lin Xiaoxiao was not feeling so well. She had been feeling nauseous all morning causing her to have to keep running back and forth to the bathroom over and over again. Lin Xiaoxiao had no idea what was going on. She had felt fine when she went to bed last night but this morning she was not feeling well at all. She called Qin Mei after the fifth trip to the bathroom and told her she wasn't feeling well. 

Qin Mei hearing Lin Xiaoxiao's explanation only had one question. "Xiaoxiao when was the last time you had your period?" 

Lin Xiaoxiao was silent as she tried to remember. She had been so busy lately that she really did not pay attention. But now that her mother Qin Mei was asking, when she thought about it she hadn't had her period for a while now, well over two months now that she was thinking about it. "Not for two to  three months..." Lin Xiaoxiao said quietly. 

"I will be right up after I call the director. We are going to go see the doctor first thing this morning." Qin Mei was expecting this. She had a feeling this was going to happen sooner or later within this year. It was just a little sooner than she expected. She had checked to see if Lin Xiaoxiao had been taking her  birth control pills and found the box open but only one pill taken. And seeing how Lin Xiaoxiao had never asked to get her prescription reupped she kinda figured it was a lost cause. But this did not mean she was mad at Lin Xiaoxiao. She figured that this was her daughter's decision, so she did not say anything against it.  Though if Lin Xiaoxiao turned out to be pregnant then she of course would be happy for her since she would soon be a grandmother.

When Lin Xiaoxiao saw Qin Mei walking into her room she couldn't help but apologize. "Mom if it turns out im pregnant. I'm sorry … I know you wanted me to wait until my career was stable and had gotten married before something like this happened."

"Xiaoxiao it's fine as a mother, of course, I want to try to steer you in the right direction but that does not mean I will be angry with you for choosing a different path. Although we are not blood related you are still my precious daughter. I love you and want the best for you and most importantly I want you, my daughter, to be happy. If having a baby so soon is what you want then I will not say anything against it. I will be stricter with you though. I do not want anything to happen to the baby that might be in your stomach. So if the doctor says you are pregnant then from now on you will take it easy and will use a stunt double when I say so. Do you understand?" Qin Mei gave Lin Xiaoxiao a hug as she rubbed Lin Xiaoxiao's back. 

Qin Mei's warmth brought a tear to Lin Xiaoxiao's eye. She had a good mother. One that cared for her deeply and was always looking out for her. "Un! I understand I will follow whatever you say mom. Thank you, mom, I love you!" 

"Also your nightly activities will need to be reduced as well. Not saying you two can't be intimate but too much can be a bad thing. I don't want my future grandchild to be poked dumb because my future son in law cant show restraint!" Qin Mei said as she kissed the top of Lin Xiaoxiao's head. 

Hearing Qin Mei words made Lin Xiaoxiao laugh. She had also thought along these lines as well. "Un! I will make sure Xing knows that he needs to restrain himself as well as myself." Qin Mei rolled her eyes at her daughter's words. She knew it was not just Shen Xing that was instagating all the sex that two had been having lately.  

A few hours later… 

"Miss Qin congratulations you are two and a half months pregnant." The doctor announced as she showed Lin Xiaoxiao her pregnancy test results.
