26 Coma?

After the ambulance arrived Qin Mei and Little Bo got in after they placed Lin Xiaoxiao on a stretcher and headed to K Hospital. Zhao Yi followed along after them in the black hummer. Luckily the hospital was not far away and only took them five minutes to reach it. Lin Xiaoxiao who was still unconscious was taken right in to get a computed tomography of her head.

Qin Mei sat in the waiting room waiting for the doctor to come out to find out how Lin Xiaoxiao was. It was only thirty minutes later that the doctor finally came out. "Miss Qin, your daughter is fine... It's just that due to her previous head injury that she most likely will not wake up for a few days."

Just hearing these words made Qin Mei break down crying. Little Bo hurriedly tried to comfort her. But nothing Little Bo said was of any help since Little Bo did not know what to say in such a situation like this. Little Bo knew that Qin Mei was blaming herself right now more than anything and since she did not know what to say she could only let Qin Mei cry in her arms. Little Bo was right, Qin Mei was blaming herself for Lin Xiaoxiao's current state. Qin Mei thought that if she did not say the words that instigated Yin Dong into throwing a punch, none of this would have happened. The only reason Lin Xioaixoa got hit was because of her. Now because of her, she was in a coma and there was really no way of telling when she would come out of it.

The Doctor felt helpless since he had more to say but with Qin Mei crying like she was it was impossible for him to continue. He looked at Zhao Yi who was standing at the side and asked: "What is your relationship with the patient?"

"Sir I am just the madam's bodyguard. If you can even call me that any more after this incident." Zhao Yi had a bitter smile on his face. He had no idea if Shen Xing was going to fire him or not because of this.

"Why wouldn't we still call you that?" A melodic voice rang out startling both the Doctor and Zhao Yi.

"P-President! I'm sorry this is my fault! I did not react in time to stop the madam!" Zhao Yi actually got down on his knees and kowtowed to Shen Xing who was now standing in front of them.

"Zhao Yi get up! You are always so serious. But this is not a bad thing. Because you are serious all the time, is why I assigned you to guard Xiaoxiao. There is no need for you to feel that this is your fault. Xiaoxiao ran out on her own with disregard for her own safety." Shen Xing helped Zhao Yi up off the floor.

"Doctor, how is she?" Shen Xing quickly turned his attention to the doctor.

"You are?" The Doctor looked at Shen Xing questioningly.

"Her fiance and the owner of this building." Shen Xing said the last part to make sure Lin Xiaoxiao got the best treatment and was also the reason he had her sent to K Hospital.

"I'm sorry President I did not realize who you were." The doctor quickly bowed his head as cold sweat built up on his forehead. He had no idea the young man in front of him was the president of Empire Group!

"No need for formalities just tell me how my fiancee is!" Shen Xing did not care about anything else except how his baby girl was doing.

"She is in a coma right now. After getting hit in the head again after already sustaining a serious head injury before caused her to fall into a coma again. It seems she might be in a coma for a few days, a week at most. If we are lucky she will wake up tomorrow morning. At this point, it's hard to say though. Other than the cut from what looked like a ring on the back of the head everything else is fine. I do thank you for getting her medical files sent over as well otherwise it would have been difficult to diagnose Miss Lily correctly" Hearing this Shen Xing breathed out a sigh of relief that she did not have any other serious damage and that she will wake up. But he still felt worried for Lin Xiaoxiao and hated the fact that he was not there to protect her.

Looking over at Qin Mei and Little Bo who were still hugging each other and crying, Shen Xing let out another sigh. He knew this was hard on Qin Mei but was at a loss of what to say at the moment. He could only look back over at the doctor and ask: "When can we see her?"

"You can go in now I will have a nurse lead you to her." Shen Xing nodded in agreement before walking over to Qin Mei and Little Bo.

"Miss Qin we will be able to go in to see her as soon as the nurse arrives to lead us there." Shen Xing still had no idea what to say to Qin Mei. He felt if he did say something it would just make her feel worse. So he decided to not try to comfort her and leave this issue to Lin Xiaoxiao when she woke up.
