41 Acting Out A Scene With Minmin Part Two

"Minmin that is not what she meant." Director Lou calmly said. He was on the verge of unleashing all his rage on this little girl! He had planned to do a total of five scenes but they have only completed two and one of them took almost the entire day. He wanted to do this last scene at least to make up some time before calling it a day! But he still held back his anger as he spoke.

Minmin's face turned red as she started to undo the buttons on the back of her dress. "Then I guess I will use my naked body to warm Fai..."

"Minmin stop!" Everyone quickly screamed out in perfect sync.

"But skin contact is..."

"No!"

"But..."

"No!" 

Minmin was a bit confused about what to do now. She slowly redid her buttons not understanding what she should be doing. She pouted her lip as she looked at the ground using her foot to turn circles on the floor. 

Lin Xiaoxiao slowly got up from the bed and walked over to Minmin. She looked at the young girl and sighed. 'Just how infatuated with me is this girl.' With a faint smile on her face, she patted the top of Minmin's head and said: "Minmin stick to the script. Do not change it in any way. When I said to follow my lead I meant just listen to me while acting out the scene. If you do a good job I will give you a hug. Okay?" 

"A-A H-Hug! Fa-Fairy Lily, you will really give me a hug?" Minmin's eyes lit up. She had just been feeling down since she had messed up the scene and got yelled at. Now hearing if she did as she was told she could get a hug from Lin Xiaoxiao her mood instantly perked up!

"Yes Minmin I will but you have to follow my directions no matter what. Okay?" At this point, Lin Xiaoxiao felt like she was dealing with a four-year-old! Since she had to coax Minmin like a child!

An hour past and they only had to stop for a few retakes to make the scene perfect. With Lin Xiaoxiao's lead, the scene came out just as Director Lou had imagined it. Causing everyone to sigh in relief. As everyone was wrapping up for the night Lin Xiaoxiao was in her dressing room talking with Shen Xing while she got her makeup removed. 

"Xing what should we have for dinner tonite! I'm starving!" Lin Xiaoxiao had her eyes closed as the makeup artist was removing her makeup. Shen Xing was standing off to the side with Little Bo and Qin Mei. 

"Ahem... Since Lily has just finished her first day on the set we should celebrate right brat?" Qin Mei's gaze fell on to Shen Xing. 

Shen Xing smiled helplessly. 'At least give me a chance to say something!' "Yes, Xiaoxiao I have already booked us a reservation at the Dragon Hotel  for the four of us." Before Qin Mei said what she said Shen Xing had already set up dinner reservations to celebrate his baby girl's first day of filming. He looked over at Qin Mei to see her nod in approval and sighed in relief inwardly. The last thing he wanted was to end up being lectured by Qin Mei again! 

"Yay! I can't wait!" Lin Xiaoxiao was truly hungry it had been a long day. Dealing with Minmin took more energy than needed.

After getting her makeup removed and changed into her street clothes Lin Xiaoxiao and crew exited the dressing room only to have to stop short at the door because a body was blocking the way.

Minmin was standing in the hall with a smile on her face and her arms spread wide as she looked at Lin Xiaoxiao. "Fairy Lily the hug you promised!" 

Lin Xiaoxiao instantly felt another headache coming on but a promise was a promise. Letting out a deep sigh Lin Xiaoxiao looked at the expectant eyes of Minmin and smiled slightly as she said: "Okay I did promise come on over."

Minmin rushed at Lin Xiaoxiao and wrapped her arms around her almost knocking Lin Xiaoxiao over. Smiling bitterly Lin Xiaoxiao gave Minmin a hug back but when she went to release she realized Minmin was not letting go! 

Just when Lin Xiaoxiao was about to push Minmin away she heard a snoring sound. Minmin had fallen asleep! "Err... What to do about this…?" 

Minmin's manager saw what had happened and quickly ran over and bowed to Lin Xiaoxiao. "I'm so sorry about Minmin. She did not sleep well last night due to this being her first film!" The manager went to wake up Minmin but Lin Xiaoxiao stopped her.

"It's fine, let her sleep. Little Bo, gently pull her hands apart so I can get out of her grasp and Xing ask the restaurant to add two additional seats to our table." Lin Xiaoxiao looked at Minmin's sleeping face as she thought 'She's pretty cute when she's not being annoying.' 

Shen Xing smiled as he looked at Lin Xiaoxiao. His baby girl was very caring indeed. He took out his cell phone and called the restaurant and did as she had asked. While Shen Xing was on the phone Qin Mei had put the sleeping Minmin on her back. Lin Xiaoxiao was willing to do it but Qin Mei stopped her and said she would do it since Lin Xiaoxiao had been working all day. Just like that, the four-person dinner turned into a six-person dinner with the addition of Minmin and her manager.
