Nathaniel and Maya quickly learned how overwhelming their families could get as news of both the impending nuptials and Maya's pregnancy reached Miller Mansion in Arlington City and the De La Rue Estate in Vertis City.

The best doctors were discreetly flown over by Magnus De La Rue, while Adeline and Caroline gathered all their resources to make sure that Maya and Nathaniel had the grandest wedding of their generation. 

When Nathaniel and Maya expressed their interest in having a big wedding that would be worthy of the De La Rue family, their mothers sprang into action, trying to ensnare both Emilia and Bella's help.

Unfortunately for the mothers, the two young women would rather be killing men than planning a wedding with their mom.

Luckily for Adeline and Caroline, they found a third helper, Clarisse Rue.
