Punishments

Cassandra had clearly thought she had managed to at least cause some damage to Maya, but she paled at Maya's words.

Suddenly from behind Maya, a cold laugh came from Katerina who was walking up to them.

She shook her head and grinned at the woman who had clearly lost everything now.

"Did you really think it would be that easy to hurt the Heir of Miller Industries?" Katerina asked as she pointed at Maya. "You are nothing but a bug, Cassandra Poiters, a bug that will be squashed."

Cassandra glared at Katerina but said nothing.

Maya ignored the interaction between Cassandra and Katerina, instead, she turned to a guard that stood by the door and nodded.

"Let them in," Maya said.

The guard quickly did as she ordered and ushered in her father as well as a couple.

"You have guests," Katerina hissed as the guards turned Cassandra to face her mother and father.
