10 I've gotten thick skinned

Xue Meili had finished having a bath and was preparing to go to bed when Jung Jianguo walked into the room he'd been away on a photo shot in A city and wasn't expected to be soon, it was scheduled to be done over the weekend. Jung Jianguo had just left by flight in morning, they'd spoken as soon as he's arrived at A city and was heading to the venue for the shoot. Xue Meili though surprised to see him knew exactly why he was here and not in A city but,the last thing she wanted was show how she truly felt so with a small smile she said "Jianguo your back, how was your shoot" "How are you? Jung Jianguo said as he walked with wide steps and standing at her front pulled her into a tight Hug."Am good, you didn't have to do this"Xue Meili said in reply as she hugged him tight and burrowed into his chest. "Yes I did, your hurting and I don't want you to be alone" Jung Jianguo said and dropped a kiss on her hair,it hurt him to see her like this if it was left to him he would be hide her away so no one can hurt her anymore, what good was a man if he cannot protect the woman he loved."Jianguo you don't have to worry anymore I've gotten thick skinned you know, this is not my first rodeo" Xue Meili said looking up at him still in his hands. He was truly the most beautiful man she had ever seen, handsome doesn't describe him just well. He was always there for her never letting go and that was one of the reasons she loved him. "I didn't doubt that angel,let me hold you in my arms" Jung Jianguo said and bending gave her a kiss on her forehead.

The next day

By Five o'clock the alarm rang and Xue Meili quickly got up from sleep and woke Jung Jianguo, as much as she loved having him spending time with him he still had to get to A city, his flight was scheduled for 7am. As soon as she shook him Jung Jianguo woke, it was a habit he like most celebrities pick up thanks to long hours on shoots, celebrities caught up on sleep when they could. "Jianguo, good morning I have to leave early, this morning you will have to eat alone I have an early morning scene to shoot" Xue Meili said and ran into the bathroom to have her bath after which she got dressed in Fitted blue jean trousers a white top and sneakers. "I'll miss you, call me when you land" Xue Meili said, giving Jung Jianguo a quick kiss on the lips ran out of the house and got into the car, her assistant Lu Bixie who had been waiting drove her to the set.

The production was making use of real time so as to ensure a good video quality which was why they were starting shooting early so as to shoot an early morning shoot. Since the events of the day before most of the crew were on edge as they felt that Xue Meili had a hand in Feng Mimi's injury that set them back by a few days which was why most of the crew deliberately tried make things hard for her but much to their surprise,Xue Meili remained calm. It started with little pranks but grew in magnitude until evening when it was time for the water scene when Li Liang is pushed into a pond. Xue Meili kept missing her cues thanks to the crew that she was scolded by the director and had to shoot the scene Six times. By the end of the last take she caught a cold as it was the late in spring, Her assistant wrapped her in a blanket but that did not seam to help much that she also got her a hot tea. Xue Meili still had two scenes left one was by 8 o'clock in the night next shoot was late into the night by 10 o'clock that night that she couldn't leave the set yet. By the time she was done with her shoot by twelve in morning she had already began having a head ache and she quickly headed home and taking some cold medicine went to bed.

By 4am Xue Meili woke up and headed to the set. Today's shooting was scheduled to be the longest her last scene was by 12am in the morning. The next day Xue Meili arrived on set and headed to Hair and make up, she was running a fever so her complexion was not good. Lin Qiaolian truly felt for her but said nothing, as she applied make up she couldn't help but notice that her temperature was very high, it was a surprise that she was here on set, she truly was very professional. After Lin Qiaolian was done they began the shoot. Soon it was time for her last scene, they were half way through the scene when she had a wardrobe malfunction and repairs had to be made to her customs. After repairs were made they continued shooting and by 2am they were done and everyone headed home. The next day Xue Meili had only scene by Ten in the morning so she slept in and by 8:30 she prepared and headed to the set. It was a rain scene as the set was set and she quickly go into her custom and as soon as director said action she got into character, but due to her cold her manager had instructed the crew to use warm water but as the water was put on it was ice cold that by the end of the scene she began shivering, her assistant quickly got angry and was about to complain to the director when Xue Meili stopped her and said "Let it be, reporting to the director will only get me in trouble, the director isn't fond of me it's no secret that I was not his first choice of female lead, Bixie tell the cast and crew that I will treat them to lunch and make reservations in Tai Wei restaurant".

"Yes Meili Jeijei" By lunch time,Tai Wei restaurant delivered so many tasty food and the cast began to eat Xue Meili stood up and standing in front of the cast and crew drawing everyone's attention and bowed and said "Meili apologies for not making mistakes and Delaying the Production" then turning to the Director she said "Meili greets Director Du please take care of me".
