Two days later the booting ceremony for FATED was held, the day before the official Weibo page for FATED was lunched though the character posters had not been released yet. On the day of the booting ceremony the entire cast and crew of the series were present to pray to the Jade Emperor for the success of the series,the main leads and Director burned incense for the success of the series, and kow towed in front of the sacrifices which included a pig Head. When the booting ceremony was concluded the entire cast and crew posed for photos which was uploaded on the official Weibo page for FATED and their personal Weibo pages, after which they were treated to dinner by the Star Entertainment.

The first day of shooting for the whole cast of FATED was the most memorable of all as it was the day that the crew saw a whole new side of the casts of the movie. It all started with the heavy rain which most feared would affect the shoot but the rain soon stopped much to the joy of the crew and cast who looked forward to the Thirty-third scene of the series where the female lead and the third female lead first met which was the catalyst of events in the drama and based on Feng Mimi's and Xue Meili's history was bound to be memorable in fact the movie was looking to be quite memorable as both actresses had not acted together since the incident three years ago and now they were to act as Friends and later enemies which was quite close to reality, the situation was bound to be dare and eventful which everyone shamefully looked up to.

Xue Meili was already on set, she had arrived earlier with her husband Jung Jianguo who was shooting right after her.They were currently waiting for Feng Mimi who was surprisingly running late, if there was someone that the crew and rest of the cast expected to be late to the shoot it most definitely would be Xue Meili, with the drama surrounding her casting but she was the first on set much to the surprise of the crew and cast who were skeptical to her casting and were not yet relaxed as Ma chong su was still accusing star entertainment of cheating her out of the role and based on her popularity even if the accusation was false might still get the role.

Finally after about thirty minutes later Fang Mimi arrived and was ruched to the closet, then hair and make up.After about thirty minutes it was finally time to shoot the scene, Xue Meili and Feng Mimi took their places and as soon as the director yelled action Xue Meili transformed from her quite beautiful self to the seductive temptress that is her character Li Liang completely surprising the cast and crew and over shadowing Feng Mimi's character Cheng Liling to that of a supporting character and leaving everyone present speechless and finally convinced of the reason for her getting the lead role, she basically brought Li Liang alive.Even after the director yelled cut the crew and cast were still rooted where they were during the shoot, it took the load crash of a glass on the floor to get the cast and crew back to earth.

Soon it was time for Jung Jianguo's shoot which ran into the afternoon and after a launch break it was time for Tang Fenfeng's shoot.

The last scene of the day was the first meeting of the female lead Li Liang and male lead Han Liang Liu and their first kiss which took place during the welcome party held by Northern Liang to welcome Prince Ji of great Han and the Other delegates.

As it was the last scene of the day the entire crew were present and as the director yelled action Jung Jianguo and Meili transported the cast to the world of FATED as they euch became their characters. It was not difficult for all to see that they had a great on screen chemistry.

FATED was a period drama about the love between an ambitious slave Li Liang and Emperor Han Liang Liu of Han who wants to conquer northern Liang and revenge the unlawful death of his parents and the neighboring states and how together they overcome all odds and joined all states, becoming the Emperor and Empress of Han.

Feng Mimi played the fifth princess of northern Liang Cheng Liling, a Pretentious and jealous princess who rescues the female lead Li Liang who was the number one beauty from being sold to by the brothel. she marries the Emperor of Jan state to join both states.

Xue Meili plays Li Liang the beautiful temptress that tamed the dragon and rose like a phoenix.Tang Fenfeng plays the second female lead Tang Xiumin fourth Princess consort of Han Princess consort Du wife to Prince Du. Qi Zhang plays the second male lead Han Wuji Prince Du of Han, younger brother of the Emperor Han Liang Liu of Han.

Kim Doo jae plays Han Zhuang jiu Prince Ji,third prince of Han husband to the deceased Miraculous Doctor Ning Nuan and finally husband to Cheng Zhenzhen fifth Princess of northern Liang. Zhang Qiuyue popular singer and song writer who was making her first acting debut in FATED plays the energetic and friendly Cheng Zhenzhen fifth Princess of northern Liang and Third princess consort of Han Princess consort Ji , second wife of Prince Ji. Liu kang plays General Qi Duke of Jianxi and best friend of the Emperor of great Han.

After the scene was shoot the crew went down to a restaurant for dinner and drinks in a private room to celebrate a successful shooting.
