Part 5

Still running through halls they can't seem to catch up it seemed like a maze "Before he ran I placed a tacker in his chest behind his neck." Batman informed Robin.

"I see it, turn left." Robin shouted as he continued looking at his screen on the gauntlet they began to track the soldier's whereabouts.

Gritting his teeth Batman felt the pain in his ribs, broken, although in pain the bat knew he had to keep going, one thing was strange though, every move the mysterious man did was perfect...too perfect and by the book.

"How far now?" Batman asked robin who's currently hacking into the mainframe to close the exits.

"Straight ahead...wait...he stopped?" Robin reported confused to why he stopped as they arrive at the door to the room he was in "What's the plan?"

Batman then walked to the door, Robin pulled out his collapsible staff from his utility belt and prepare himself for the fight, Batman then opened the door only to see a lab and many windows overlooking the city and the briefcase that was now opened and the soldier putting on a backpack.

Batman quick assessed the room seeing a broken window and the mysterious soldier standing near, "Don't. even. Think About It" the commanding voice echoed through the lab catching his attention.

With a glare, both the soldier and the Batman were in a staredown.

Batman slowly reached in back of his belt for his Batarang, just as the fight was gonna get outta hand a strange looking helicopter rose, shining a light through the lab blinding Batman and Robin for a few seconds.

In that time the mysterious soldier ran for it and jumped towards the helicopter flying through the sky before landing in it safely and effortlessly, the police below who were amazed at the scene that was displayed.

finally getting his site back, the bat saw what was happening and quickly grabbed his grapple gun and aimed it a the helicopter but before could shoot it began to cloak itself, camouflaging itself to it's surrounding only then disappear from the night.

"Damn." Batman mumbled annoyed.

In the strange helicopter, the soldier stood taking off his pack and putting it on the ground in front of him as he sat, finally taking off his mask revealing Steve Rogers the soldier erased from history and time, Captain America.

"Did you get it?" a voice echoed threw the hanger bay, Steve looked up to see the general standing there before handing him the pack obediently, "Good, Omega shut-down code 0937" he said grabbing the pack before Steve then fell into a coma-like state.

Opening the pack, he sees a see-through container glowing, purple with a hint of blue, a smile went across his face while as he pulled it out, the container held a glowing purple flower with blue streaks on the leaves and petals.

"Looks like we are making many of you after all." He said looking at the unconscious Steve, "God Bless America."

The Batcave...location: Unkown.

Echoes of tires scratching against the surface of the ground could be heard through the tunnels until the Batmobile could be seen exiting drifting to a stop on a platform.

Opening, the Batman could be seen jumping out annoyed as he takes off his mask and walks to a large monitor which turns on displaying the bat symbol.

Robin who jumped out afterwards took off his domino mask "Sir may I suggest eating something" Alfred said who as if appeared out of thin air as he held the silver plate in front of him.

"Thank you, Alfred." Robin said with a smile, grabbing the sandwich that was offered.

Alfred then walked towards Batman who was busy at the bat computer "Master Bruce I would've made you something as well but I'm guessing you wouldn't feel like joking tonight." Alfred quipped only to get silence in return.

"Maybe a tea perhaps," Alfred said before walking away leaving him alone with his thoughts.

"Robin!" Batman called out catching his attention straight away, "Did you get anything on the camera feed?"

"Yeah I did, but only from one." Robin then walked towards a panel and inserted a wire from his gauntlet, he then pressed a button on his holographic gauntlet which transferred screens to the bat computer.

The camera feed begins to show the winter soldier following a doctor who was crawling towards a panel but before he could walk forward he hesitates, something was holding him back, his arms were shaking as if they were lifting weights, the soldier continued watching until the doctor pressed the emergency button as all the sirens begin to go off.

Swiftly back in control, the soldier rushed to the doctor before brutality implanting his head in the panel, before throwing him into the camera.

"Hm" Batman groaned while laying back into his chair, he stared at the screen looking at the mask, thinking.

After all the time he and Batman were partners he knew that during the time it was best to leave him alone, so he walked away leaving Batman to think.

The secret facility of S.H.I.E.L.D

In the Lab, Stan and Miles were working as per usual, other than being caretakers they had to research any data the winter soldier brought back, they lived in the facility only visiting their families 2 days a year and was closely monitored.

It was hell.

"Dammit this is gonna take years of work to uncover." Stan spoke annoyed by the fact, although he was older then miles he always seems to try to appease others in command always staying on focus.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's how research works stan." Miles was known as a genius at only 25 years old finishing college at the age of 21 and extremely hard worker never using those 2 days in the last 3 years here's worked for S.H.I.E.L.D.

"You know kids like you," Miles rolled his eyes knowing the next words Stan was gonna say "always quick to use your mouth rather than your head." (A:N I feel like he would look like Donald glover)

"Yea that's because if we used our heads we would end up like...well you" Miles joked, it only made Stan grumpier.

"You know what I'm going to bed," Stan grumpily said as he put down his tools, and walked out without even bothering to say speak another word to miles.

"Oh goodnight hunnie!" miles yelled out before hearing the door slam behind him miles then went back to work but he did something's strange "1....2...3.." continued until reaching 100.

Miles then looked at the camera that was once glowing to suddenly turn off before turning back on 5 seconds afterwards "Bingo."

Opening a metal cabinet he grabs a bag from it before putting it on the desk and pulling out multiple weird devices and a laptop.

He then uses a small circular device and puts it on the keypad next to the cryopod before starting to put multiple devices around the room.

"Here goes nothing." he then presses a button on the keyboard of the laptop, as he does the keypad began the fry itself, before opening the cryochamber.

The cold air hits miles face as begins to question if this is a good idea.
