7 The Exposition

I was about to fall asleep on my room at the Embassy when suddenly I found myself on what seems to be a command center of a military base.

"Oh good, You're here!" A voice sounding similar to one that I often heard in my head sounded right behind me. "We've been waiting for you" added the voice with a pleasing tone.

I turned to where the voice sounded and saw two very beautiful women, One has black hair, black eyes coupled with a black-rimmed glasses and wore some kind of suit that hugs all the curves on her sexy body.

The second one was a blonde female with blue eyes and a charming smile, she wore a light blue dress that reaches down her knee.

"Uhm...hello?" I said, unsure really if I was dreaming or not. "Oh, You're dreaming alright" confirmed the blonde Woman who was smirking at me.

"So where are we and who are you two?" I asked as I inspected if the computer terminals were fully functional.

The glass wearing Woman smiled and replied, "Oh I'm sorry dear, I forgot I haven't shown you this form yet so let's change it to something you're more familiar with shall we?." The woman then transformed into a girl just my age with tanned skin, black hair and green eyes. "Once again hello... Alex? that's what you're called now right? also for your second question, we are in your mindscape right now"

I was floored, It was the goddess! one of the goddesses that reincarnated me but wait...where is "goddess Mikaela?! uhm...where are the others?" I ask the goddess who turned back into her earlier form and replied "Oh, call me Minerva and the others can't come right now they're quite busy with their duty also the blonde bimbo woman there who's shameless checking you out is Venus"

Then it hit me, seven goddesses reincarnated me that time and there are seven names written in my back also two of them are talking to me right now.."so that explains the names in my back" I muttered as Venus nodded and continued "yes, the names in your back work like Shazam but the ritual we use wasn't the same as Shazam was, instead we use a different one were we directly imbue the powers into your soul so in this way your powers cannot be stolen by others, this also means you're no longer a human but more of a demigod and.... we might have also proclaim you as our son without informing you before...but whatever" She mumbled, the last part wasn't really audible so I didn'thear it.

"So...that means you all gave me powers? what are they and what for?" I ask them and Minerva instead of just replying operated the monitor and showed me something, she finally said

"Oh...just treat the powers we gave you as a necessity and to start your powers are..."

"So Diana what did you found out about the two?" Asked Batman as he type a new folder on the computer named appropriately as Karen Starr and Alexander Maximus.

"Karen Starr is pretty much similar to supergirl in all manners of speaking but has more raw power maybe due to lack of control, She destroyed quite a few doors in the embassy before she could reign in her strength with Artemis help" Diana said and continued. "Artemis also said that she has quite the extensive knowledge in close quarter combat but she lack the experience to pull some of the moves."

The picture on the hologram then change from Kara to Alex.

"Alex on the other hand has quite the story, according to what Karen told me, Alex was supposedly be undergoing the brainwashing program when it prove to be quite difficult by the Genomorph. They tried and tried but wasn't able to do it and so fearing the kid's power they put him in ice and lock him up in their maximum security storage they wanted to dispose of him at first but an order from above change it." Diana said.

It was Batman's turn to speak up "We manage to find a few pieces of data concerning the kid at the facility that wasn't completely destroyed by his virus. According to the profile Cadmus created for the kid, he is basically a male version of Diana with the same bone density, muscle density and possibly possess the same strength and weaknesses."

"So...is he a male Amazon?" ask Flash which Diana just shook her head and said "No, the kid is more than just an Amazon but possibly a demigod as well."

"Are there any news on themyscira in who his godly parent is?" Aquaman ask, intrigue to see another demigod other than Diana.

"No, the gods won't answer a thing about the kid, especially Hera and the others but I do have a guess" Diana responded

Batman once again change the display in the hologram and showed seven names then said "Just after the Cadmus event Diana found seven names of Roman goddesses tattooed in his back and I'm guessing one of the name's written there could be his mother."

"Yes, Batman is correct me and my sister thought the same way." she said and look at the others "We found it really disturbing how he smelled just like Ares but thank Hera, it wasn't him but instead his smell resembles goddess Enyo or more accurately her roman counterpart Bellona."

"And what's the difference between her and Ares? if I remember it correctly they're both god/goddess of war." Green Lantern ask.

"Yes, they are very different, Enyo or Bellona is much more cruel than Ares but she rarely joins the war." Diana said. "And that's good because?" questioned Flash.

"In the Titanomachy, Enyo enjoyed the war so much that she didn't even participated in it and just enjoyed the destruction, the only time she did join the war was in the fall of Troy which she didn't have a choice because Strife her retinue was the one that started the war." Diana explained.

"I still don't see the good side to it" Green Latern said as he frown, war is really bad in his opinion.

"The good thing is Bellona won't just whip out her sword and kill people because she's more often to just stand back and watch the war for her amusement than actually joined it, don't get me wrong she's pretty cruel much more cruel than Ares but now a days she's more of combative goddess than an actual war goddess and she did have rule that war is only faught by soldiers and not civilians." she explained which relieve some of them.

"now my sister believe that the kid's power work like Shazam here as he showed quite a bit ability when we sparred but still he's still a greenhorn in battle though he easily improve in the battle very fast so all is good." Diana added.

Batman then replace the hologram with a Legionnaire outfit that have been improve on and more practical without the frills. "This design was submitted to me by Alexander for his outfit although the reinvention of the Legionnaire outfit was ingenious but what really makes it special is the symbol I found in the armor, I've ask Zatara about it but he's not quite sure about it so I want your opinion on this Shazam." he said.

When Shazam took a look at the carve symbols his eyes widened and he couldn't help but rotate the hologram a few more times and with that done he sighed and said "The kid is a genius alright, The symbol carve in the armor according to the wisdom of solomon is no ordinary symbol they are Runes and what runes basically does is enchant an effect the enchanter decide on an object of their chosing without having to resupply the magic on the item, so in layman's term its a way to make artifacts.."

"Runes there are different types? what type is this?" Batman ask.

"Yes and It's a Nordic rune, the most powerful and oldest of the Runes taught by the Asgardian gods to their people but because of the romans the rune making was lost to the ages, looking at the runes in this armor there are three effects that I can Identify base on the image, one is a momentum robbing shield just above the skin and armor, the second is for durability and lastly third is for the noise cancellation that the armor will create." Shazam explained. "goddess Minerva must have bless the kid with knowledge like mine with Solomon". He added.

"So to sum everything up we have a potential Wonder Woman-like, Shazam-like person whose going to join the team and he might be or might not be a son of a goddess...." Flash said with a drawl "and are we sure his not compromise? because if he is then I don't want to fight someone whose possibly the son of a war goddess"he added.

"No, at least from what I can see, the kid obviously is pretty reluctant at being a Superhero and if not for Karen convincing him then he wouldn't have joined though he did offer to be the team's technical officer." Batman said which relieve all them because facing an enemy like the kid is one mighty task, it's like the kid was another Superman or Wonder Woman.

"Diana if possible get the kid the training he needed and if possible get Canary to have a look with the kid" Batman said and Diana nodded "now that's all over meeting adjourned"
