Impulse ran alongside flash but tripped and caused them both to fall just as neutron was going to explode again. Thankfully Kid Flash, Jay Garrick, And Sentry ran in and grabbed the two and hauled them to safety.
" You realize you almost got him killed right?"
Kid Flash asked as he glared at Impulse.

Impulse was saying.
" Actually, he saved me. Or at least you all did. Neutrons overload accelerated. Even at my top speed I would have never made it to the desert in time."

" Don't know. Guess old Neutron just ran out of Juice."
Impulse explained.
" Who's Neutron?"
The man who used to be known as Neutron asked.

Kai said as he shook both the current and original Flash's hands.

Kai joked before Leaving. his joke made Kid Flash and Jay both groan in pain.
' I think I know why he was here. Let's put the facts together. Tonight, Iris found out she was pregnant and the same night a Crazy superpowered villain showed up looking to kill Flash. I think that's why the kid came back. Flash was going to die in that fight. Impulse said he always wanted to meet Barry, which means he's never met the man in his timeline, another clue to Barry's death. Then There's what flash said. If Impulse hadn't stopped him from reaching Neutron Barry would have still tried to race him to the desert, meaning he would have been caught up in that blast. This is my conclusion. Flash was meant to die tonight. Iris was already pregnant, which means Bart was going to be born no matter what. I can only assume Bart came back because something happens in the future where Flash will be needed.'
Kai thought as he put together his version of the story. Not knowing whether he was correct or not. One thing he did know was Flash was supposed to die tonight.
" Things just keep getting more complicated don't they Kai."
Kai said to himself as he flew towards his home.
