Chapter 1: Ein Neuer Anfang Tanya Degurechaff

After the overwhelming surge of power, had faded away Tanya is now towering over the corpse of the undead Soldier.

"What is this power?" Tanya asks Karl."That is the power of your soul and your desires given form."Said the magician.

Tanya gave the man a confused look."How is that possible? The existence of the soul is theoretical at best and how can one's desires give them power? Everyone has their wants and desires so why is this power just now known." Tanya asks the magician with a skeptical look.

"You already know the answer. It is the reason you even exist as you are now in the first place."

Tanya looks back through her memories of her first meeting with being X. She was reincarnated by being X and reincarnation requires the Soul thus proving the existence of the Soul to be true, but how do desires come into play?

Then suddenly Tonya had a sense of deja vu as if all this had happened before. Then Tanya looks through her memories of previous battles. It is like they all happened before. Back then she just chalked it up to similar circumstances but now she is sure there is something more to this sense of deja vu.

She was getting sidetracked

"How is this even possible? How could I have this power?"Tanya asks Karl with a questioning look on her face, Hoping to get some answers that could clear her mind from the man.

"You just have to stop holding yourself back. You could always use the power you just have to be aware of it and try to use it" Karl answered in the simplest way possible.

"What do you mean by holding yourself back?" Tanya asks the knowledgeable magician. She thought she knew what she wanted, but it seems that there is more to her desires than what meets the eye.

"For you to use this power you must acknowledge all your wants and desires." The magician said."Then embrace your true self and let it run wild."

"So that was my true self." She paused for a moment then said. "I never knew that I could be so destructive."

She looks back at all the destruction she just caused

"That was always there look back on your past exploits. Do you think a normal woman could do all that by just being unrestrained" Karl said, " All those atrocities you committed were a part of your desire and it happened to be the most logical choice available to you." Karl said with a smile on his face."You are a machine of War, you were made for conflict. But there is more to your desires than the need to destroy. You love the world and all the concepts that made it" Karl said as he stared into Tanya as if he could see her very soul and tell her who she really is."You want to Embrace and destroy all of existence. You want it all and yet you seek to destroy it. You love it all and yet hate it to your very being. You are a contradiction in reality that seeks for something more than itself."The magician said as his smile grew wider.

" So Major Tanya Degurechaff what will do now, will you rule the world and take everything it has to offer, or will destroy it all in a euphoric rampage? So what will you do now Major?"Karl looks at Tanya with high expectations for her. What will she choose destruction or love? Maybe she will choose both.

"I will do whatever I please but first " Tanya looked back at the now ruined Courtyard " It seems like I have ruined our Courtyard"

Tanya looked back at the still-in-awe Lieutenant Serebryakov and gave her orders." lieutenant Serebryakov get this place cleaned up and take care of the dead body over here!!!" Tanya gave her orders while the lieutenant looked confused."Just me Major?! It looks like too much for one person to clean. Can I ask for help, Mam?"

"Of course you can. Do you think that I expect you to clean this all up by yourself?" The Major said." Ask the rest of our men to help with the cleanup process."

Tanya looks back to the man behind her."I will be taking this prisoner back to his cell for further questioning."

Tanya walks back inside the building with the prisoner in tow and leaves the cleanup to her lieutenant and her men.
