You Will Marry Me 16

Eight years passed us by, with each night becoming more intense than the one before. I didn't say it back then, but I seemed to enjoy our time together more than she did; though that was to be expected given the things we did. Night after night, sometimes even in school during our breaks, we'd be together as we hid away from everyone else. Through middle school and into high school, our routine slowly started sparking rumors between the two of us; not like they mattered to me though.

It was the middle of the sports festival, that's when the next big incident happened. She was currently running for the relay race as the anchor, and she had a large fanbase in school for multiple reasons. Her chest bounced with every step as she took off, easily passing third place. She had tied her hair into a ponytail, and it was flowing with the wind as she rounded the bend to overtake second. Only one other runner was ahead of her. "Go Nakumi!" Her Fanclub, mostly comprised of boys from our year, screamed as she finally took first place; all she needed to do was keep it until the end.

I watched her close the distance between her and the finish line, scaring off some people around me with my grin. Truth be told, I couldn't care less about what was going on at the moment. No, I was already excited for what was to come after. The two of us at night, a girl my age with a stunning figure. Perky, double-d sized breasts, and wide hips that complimented her slender build, along with a flexible body and supple skin; she was any man's dream girl. Not to mention that she's sought after by most of the sports clubs for her athleticism, or how she's managed to consistently get top scores in intellectual contests.

In contrast, I really didn't work to keep up appearances as I progressed in life. I had gained weight from eating junk food while I spent all night reading, those nights also deteriorated my vision to the point where I had to get glasses by thirteen. Though I didn't have it all bad, with my attention focused on one of our workbooks, I'd be able to score high on almost any exam we had. The race ended, Tano won with around five meters between her and second place. I looked at her, and she looked at me, matching my gaze as she walked off the field and back to her classroom; I gave her a nod, smiling to myself as I made my way to an empty room for some peace and quiet.

"You wanted to meet with me?" She asked, approaching me an hour after the relay. The two of us, aside from meeting every night, weren't really seen much together. Her friend group was always tight, and I preferred to read alone in the silence of an empty classroom. Her meeting with me was always somewhat risky for her, as her reputation would drop and only make the rumors spread faster. I looked at her, the sun to her back only highlighting her curves and causing me to smirk.

"Wear this tonight," I said as I pulled out my phone, searching for some clothing on the internet and showing it to her. Her cheeks flushed with blood, her posture indicated her unease with the proposal; she still couldn't refuse, but that didn't mean she liked doing things for me. I was already grinning from ear to ear, excited for my plan. I held back a laugh that bubbled up in me, something about her behavior just made me chuckle, especially when she can't really do anything to change it.

"Is this really okay?" She pulled up a chair and sat to my right. She scooted right up against me, crossing her legs, leaning forward while resting her head in her hand. "You...what you're doing to me is kind of..."

"I'd like it if you stopped asking questions," I said, carefully wording it to not force another command on her that I didn't need. She sat up, pouting while crossing her arms under her breasts to give them a little jiggle that didn't go unnoticed by me. "Shouldn't you be going now? What would people think if they saw you talking to me?" I said coldly, irritating her to the point where she stood up.

"I just wanted to be nice by spending some time with you!" Turning red again, she scolded me, but I met it with an apathetic face. "I'm such an idiot! You're not the same Aki I grew up with! He'd never do this to me." With a disgusted expression, which I was unsure if it was for me or herself, she huffed and turned around after slamming a hand down on the desk in front of me. I looked down, a little taken aback by what I found.

"Chocolate?"

She left the room shortly after our conversation, returning to her class to prepare for the next game. I also had to prepare for tonight, but unlike her, I had a much looser time limit. The festival would be ending in two days, it was perfect. Chuckling to myself, I made my way to the computer room to make something, taking out a book to make sure I was doing it right.

Night arrived and I made my routine visit to her home. I made my entrance known to her mother as I silently approached her room. The door was slightly ajar, allowing me to glimpse inside. She was seated on the floor, holding a set of clothes in her hands. It wasn't exactly like the one I showed her, the color and size were different, but it suited her better than the photo. I smiled, she would look gorgeous once she put that on. I was already salivating just imagining it.

I sighed, hiding my smile with my hand as I took a step back. "Nakumi, I'm coming in," I said in a bored tone, though in reality, I was already holding my breath in anticipation. She opened the door, letting me step inside. Then she looked towards the floor, trembling slightly.

"I couldn't get what you want. I'm sorry." She pleaded, hiding the clothes behind her back. I ordered her to show them to me, and I raised them up to picture her body with them on. Unlike earlier, she was a bit more contained. I told her it was fine and instructed her to change. "What!? Get out! I can't change with you watching me!" Flustered, and slightly afraid of me, she pushed me out of her room with her cheeks puffed up; she looked cute. I decided to give her some privacy; that face made me want to humor her. After a few minutes, she opened the door for me again.

Sitting on her bed with her arms covering as much of her body as she could, she looked away as the clothes hugged her body. Her hair was untied from the ponytail, now reaching down to her lower back. I told her to look at me as I pulled out my phone and snapped a picture. After she saw me do that, she rose to her feet and began stomping around in frustration. I walked over and played with her hair a bit, and then I directed her to lie on her bed in a specific pose. "Alright, hold still." I practically paralyzed her with that order as I took another picture. "Now, change into this." I gave a creepy laugh as I walked over to her closet and picked out another set of clothes for her that I had her wear previously.

I've had her dress up multiple times before, so her wardrobe had expended with all of the clothes we had used before. I smiled as I walked back with them in my arms, looking around the room as I handed them to her. It was tidy, with everything either on a shelf or piled up neatly. "Why...why are you doing this? What are you going to do with those pictures?" To say she was flustered by her clothes was an understatement.

"None of your business, Nakumi," I reply, heading for the door before I turned my head with a grin. "And you should be more confident in your body since I have something planned for you. Just a word of warning." I gave her one last order as left her in her room to change, giving me five minutes to read a few pages of a random pocket-sized cookbook I brought with me. One after another, the cycle repeated until we had gone through a dozen outfits. Eventually, even I got tired of it and said that we could stop and enjoy ourselves for the rest of the night. "Alright. Let's have some fun." I say and she instantly lit up, smiling in the way she used to while smacking her lips excitedly; I was the one offering her a challenge though. The two of us got started, grunting and groaning as time ticked away.

"How....can you be this good?" She grunted, gasping for air since she had apparently run out. "You're lasting longer than last time!"

"Heh. Can't handle it!? Then how about this?" I say as I increased my speed. She moaned at me as she rested her head on my shoulder, half angry, and half impressed. "How about round two?" I asked her, panting for a few minutes, but I didn't get a reply. She had fallen asleep on my shoulder and a small pool of drool was already forming in her mouth. Though she was asleep, that didn't my fun would end there. I shifted her body around and kept fooling around until I also eventually got tired and fell asleep in her bed.

The next morning was a regular day, aside from the fact that I had woken up in her house instead of my own. It wasn't too out of the ordinary now, especially since we've known each other for so long, but it was still a hassle to be a few minutes behind schedule due to the short walk back to my home. The next time I saw Tano was in school for the second to last day of the festival. It was uneventful, at least in school, but I did manage to finish my preparations by the time I got home.

The third day was the most important day. I had moved the photos to somewhere on my phone, and, as I pressed a button, they were sent through the school's internet to all connected devices. The school's computers received it, but some students' phones also got it, along with the displays that were being used to keep track of scores or to show the next event. There, on multiple screens that undoubtedly made it known to all in attendance, was Nakumi Tano in various poses and clothing. For a few seconds, everyone just looked, confused, amazed, or stunned. But one person was moving through the crowds, running past everyone with her fists clenched. "What the hell!?" Nakumi came at me and pinned me against the wall. This was the first time I've ever seen her with pure unbridled hatred in her eyes.

"Stop!" I yelled. Thankfully, I can ensure that she couldn't hurt me. I just grinned, getting her to take a few steps back. I watched her face as it cycled through multiple emotions. Betrayed, disgust, anger, confusion.

"You...did you even think this through?" She asked, clearly frustrated with me. " What's going to happen to me? Did you even think of that?" Of course, I did, that's why I did it. I began to chuckle, then that chuckle turned into a laugh. Nakumi stormed off, looking at me as if she was looking at the worst scum on earth. I heard from one of our classmates that she had run home to try and avoid everyone for the rest of the day. For the next few days, she wouldn't talk to me and left the room as soon as I entered it. I figured I'd let her cool off instead of forcing her to talk to me, after all, I'm not evil.

I never got a chance to talk to her about it for the rest of the year. "Aki. My family is moving away." She stood in front of her house a few days after the festival, a cardboard box in her hands.

"What?"

"We...I can't stay here anymore. We're going to move by next week, but we're moving some of our furniture today. Thankfully, someone is helping us find a place to stay."

"Is it...because of what I did?" I asked, nearly dropping my bag on the ground due to shock. She didn't give a verbal reply, only smiling as she nodded her head. I bit my lip as I felt my eyes start to tear up. "I see." Was all I could say before I ran into my house and shut myself in my room.

I was foolish. I should've known something like this would happen, but I still wasn't prepared. It stung, seeing her leave the following week, knowing that my actions pushed her away. Without her at school, I lost a lot of my motivation. I would be absent for multiple days at a time, or leave in the middle of the day by faking an illness; it just felt empty, I felt empty. This went on for three years, until I couldn't bear it any longer and just stopped attending my classes.

I had dropped out that year and spent my time reading books and learning what I wanted using the internet, though that wouldn't get me a job since I didn't have a degree. After that, my parents kicked me out of the house and I was forced to take care of myself on the streets. I managed to keep the book but nobody would trust me with a minute of their time for me to hypnotize them.

I worked at a fast food place as their janitor, which felt like the universe's form of revenge. I happened across some cheap housing that I could barely afford with the money from my job, but it wasn't comfortable at all. One rainy night, after two years of living like this, I had a decent sum of money saved up and decided to go out for my first drink after paying my rent. I got home to change into something and grabbed an umbrella, walking out into a strong storm in search of a bar.

It didn't take long for a gust of wind to blow my umbrella away, leaving me soaked as I wandered the city streets. I had spotted a bar and was about to make my way there when I noticed something out of the ordinary. A little kid was standing under a store roof's overhang, his clothes soaking wet and there was a small cut on his leg. I contemplated going into a convenience store to get some bandages, but I only barely have enough money for my beer. I sighed as I continued walking, glancing at the kid as I walked through a set of doors.

"Mama! Papa!"

"Hiro! Thank goodness we found you. Don't run off like that again!"

"You're bleeding. Honey, do you have bandages in your purse?"

"Uhm...Here...you can have these." I nervously approached the couple, handing them a small, clear, plastic bag with a fresh pack of bandages inside. "But you might want to bring him to the doctor, it might be infected," I add, leaving the bag with the woman as I give up on my vices for the night.

Pathetic. I couldn't even afford the cheapest beer. I found myself on a nearby bridge, overlooking the city I grew up in with the rain still pelting me from above. Even with the storm, the view was stunning. Filled with lights that were reflected by the river running under the bridge, it brought me some comfort that I was sorely lacking. But, as with all things, situations change.

I turned my back to the scene and let the raindrops fall on my face, getting my glasses all wet and foggy in the cold as I sat back and reflected on everything that happened to me. Even after all these years, even after everything that's happened to me, this thought never once left my mind. "I hope she's okay."

"Aki?"
