38 Chapter 1 (Riku's P.O.V)

"Thank you for your hard work today everyone!" The assistant director shouted while we were packing up from filming the last scene of "The Knight's Curse". Apparently it became a famous drama just after the release of the first 10 episodes, which happened faster than I expected but I guess I can't really argue with one of the best directors in the business.

"Riku do you have a minute?" The assistant direction asked heading my way.

"Sure" I responded while setting my things back down on the floor.

"Mr. Chen Han wanted me to give you his business card because he was interested in having you be apart of his upcoming drama." He explained while handing me the card.

"Ah I see. It looks like Mr. Han is still being productive in the entertainment business regardless of his age." I smiled and took the card.

"Yes you are right and he's also looking forward to your calls as well. That is all. Have a good day." He smiled and walked away leaving the studio.

I took a looked at the card and it read "Chen Han, Head Director of ISL Entertainment" in black lettering with gold outlined letters. It also had his phone number at the bottom of the card. Who knew he could have such a fancy looking business card. I stuffed the card in my pocket and grabbed my things and walked out of the studio. It wasn't too long until Sun Hee started calling me.

"Hello" I said answering the phone while unlocking my car.

"Hey when will you be home?! I've been waiting for you for awhile now!" She screamed through the phone.

"Calm down Sun Hee. I'm on my way back right now." I said getting into my car while starting the engine.

"Its about time Riku. Hurry up I have some news to tell you." She aggressively said and hung up.

I rolled my eyes and set my phone down in the cupholders and took off. The nerve of her screaming at me just because I was shooting the last scene for my drama is absolutely hilarious. I can't believe that I spent four years with her. I can't believe that I'm actually married to her. Ever since our wedding she has always been so attached to me when other people are around, but she's never home and when I have to go out and film she gets mad at me for not returning home until late. I really don't get or understand it at all. I turned on the radio to clear my head and that's when an angelic voice was singing on the radio. It sounded so majestic and it felt as if time has stopped as if an angel was singing and froze time. The voice was soothing and it felt like it can calm a million raging seas with just the slightest hum. It felt so unreal and like I was trapped in a dream and I don't want to wake up because I feel like I will forget this voice. Before I knew it the song was over and I was parked outside of the house. I turned off the radio and grabbed my things in the passenger seat and headed inside. I opened the door and saw Sun Hee running towards me.

"Riku you're finally home!" She shouted.

"Yes I am. Why are you being so loud?" I asked while hanging up my keys and taking off my shoes.

"Because my father just called and said they made all of us a dinner reservation at 6pm tonight, which means you have to go get ready right now! It's almost 5pm and we need to be there early." She said and walked away to get ready.

I sighed and went upstairs to my room. I closed my door and looked in my bathroom mirror. I looked at myself and saw how unhappy I was. I touched my reflection and saw my eyes on the verge of tears. I took a deep breath in and out and repeated it for a few times to get my nerves under control.

"Riku! Are you almost ready!" Sun Hee yelled from across the room.

"Give me five minutes!" I yelled back and walked over to my closet.

I turned on the lights and went to go look for a nice looking suit that will match me since I had to dye my hair black for the drama I just finished filming. I looked through my suits and found a nice dark navy blue suit with matching slacks and black dress shoes. I threw on a plain white t-shirt while putting on the rest of the suit as well as the shoes. After putting my clothes on I went to my mirror and fixed up my hair a bit then sprayed on some cologne and quickly grabbing my wallet, phone, and keys and headed downstairs to meet up with Sun Hee. I heard my phone ranged and I immediately picked up.

"Hello?" I answered while sitting at the table downstairs.

"Hey Riku!" The voice on the other side of the phone shouted excitedly.

"I'm sorry, who is this?" I asked.

"It's me, Arata." He said.

"Did you get a new number or something?" I asked.

"Yeah I did. Sorry I forgot to tell you." He said laughing.

"Haha that's okay, also what happened to your old phone?" I asked.

"It kind of fell off the boat when I went scuba diving last week." He said with a nervous laugh.

"Haha classic. How was scuba diving though?" I asked.

"It was great and really fun! I wish you could been there with us dude." He said excitedly.

"Me too. It sounds like a lot of fun." I smiled.

"What have you been up to lately?" He asked.

"Well I just got done filming my drama and now Sun Hee and I are about to head out to dinner with her parents." I explained.

"Oh nice! I see you and Sun Hee are on good terms even after four years. I'm happy for you also drive safe and call me when you get back! I have some news to tell you!" He said full of excitement.

"Okay I'll talk to you later. See ya." I said.

"See ya buddy!" He said and hung up.

After the call I instantly set my phone in my pocket and my mind instantly went to to thinking of what Arata wanted to tell me. I honestly couldn't wait to know what it is which makes me even more impatient. I started thinking more about it until I heard heels tapping down the stairs and saw Sun Hee in a black dress with black heels. Her hair was curled and she had a full face of make up on to the point where it made her skin really shiny.

"Are you ready?" I asked standing up.

"I am. Let's go. We shouldn't waste anymore time since it's almost 6pm." She said looking at her phone.

I opened the door for both of us and locked it and headed out to the car. I unlocked it and opened the door for Sun Hee to get in. I may not like her and was forced to marry her by arrangement, but I am still a gentlemen who opens doors for women regardless if I like them or not. I got in the driver seat and started the car while turning the heat on since it was a bit cold outside. I drove us to the restaurant which was only like a good thirty minute drive from where we lived. During the car ride, Sun Hee tried to make conversation, but she would always go back to her phone and laugh repeatedly. I was getting a bit suspicious of her going on her phone all the time since she always smiles and laughs at her phone while always going out when she immediately gets a message or maybe I'm just overthinking things. The car was quiet for the rest of the way and we eventually got to the restaurant and went to go park the car. When we entered the building we saw her parents sitting at a table waiting for us. We headed their way and took a seat across from them.

"Sun Hee and Riku, thank you for coming here tonight." Mr. Kim said fixing his sleeves.

"Of course." I said smiling.

"Now let's get down to business." He said crossing his hands.
