189 Unexpected Turn Of Events

Ivy had a frown on her face as she looked at the documents in her hands. For the past few days, she was feeling restless. However, she didn't know where the feeling of unease was coming from. 

She thought that it might be due to the expectations of her superiors, but immediately rejected the idea. Ivy was not someone who folded under pressure, so she ruled out this possibility. 

'Maybe I'm just tired,' Ivy thought. She had been working till midnight for the past few days because of the data they had collected from Adam.

Thinking about the young boy that was waiting for her inside her room made Ivy's face soften. 

"I guess, I'll rest early tonight," Ivy muttered. It had been a few days since she had given her blood to Adam, and she wanted to use that opportunity to give herself a "reward".
