"Are we just going to let her go like that?" Kate was unresigned.

"Big Brother…" Chloe was also feeling troubled as well.

Ciel patted her head and gave Kate a helpless look. "It would be best if all of us took a step back for now. We can't resolve this conflict if both sides are unwilling to compromise."

In order to pacify the two girls, Ciel decided to take them to a cafe in order to calm them down. He requested a private room to allow them to process the events without an audience. Kate immediately directed her frustrations on the food in front of her and ate a lot.

She ate with a gusto that Ciel and Chloe thought that Kate was fighting with the food using her teeth.

Chloe, on the other hand, only ate a little. Her hand would shiver from time to time, making it a little difficult to keep the food on the fork. Clearly, she was struggling to recover from the traumatizing ordeal that she had experienced.
