The World Would Crumble Under Her Feet

"What's wrong?" a beautiful young lady asked Jean in a teasing tone. "Are you that much in a hurry to have desserts?"

"D-Desserts?" Jean asked back with a bewildered expression.

The beautiful lady giggled as she looked at her absent-minded boyfriend. Her long red-hair made her look like a mischievous imp due to the candle light.

"Jean, is there something on your mind?" the beautiful lady inquired. "Your mind is wandering while you're having dinner with a beautiful girl. You're hurting my feelings."

"I'm sorry," Jean immediately apologized. He then stood up and walked towards her chair to give her a light hug. "You're right. I'm thinking about other things. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, Aina."
