25 Our Little Secret

"Um? Ciel, why are you wearing those glasses?"

"The better to see you, my dear."

"Um? Ciel, why are you tying me up on the chair?"

"The better to "seat" you, my dear."

"Um? Ciel, why are you holding that stick in your hand?"

Ciel smirked and softly propped Kate's chin using the wooden stick in his hand. His light-blue eyes had a mischievous glint in them as he gazed into Kate's clear hazel eyes.

"The better to teach you, my dear."

[Oh no! What should I do?! My darling looks devilishly handsome in his professor attire!] Stella squealed inside the mindscape. [Is he going to teach us Physical Education? If yes, you must switch with me, Kate!]

Squeals of Kyaaah! Kyaah! could be heard in their shared mindscape and Kate was having a headache.

Kate gulped when she saw that Ciel's gaze screamed "You're not getting any sleep tonight baby." That innocent smile paired with that devilish look was just pure criminal!

"A-Are you going to teach me physical education?" Kate stuttered. There was a tinge of excitement in her voice. "I'm very confident in my body you know!"

A soft snort was heard beside her. Kate turned her head to see Chloe looking at her in disdain. She had a fed up look in her face that was saying "Don't even think about it you thieving cat!"

After Ethan left, Ciel explained to Kate the plan of the family to enroll her at Saint Claire Academy. Like Ethan said, the only way for her to enroll in the academy was to pass the entrance exam.

Saint Claire Academy was the number one choice of any student in the United Kingdom. Aside from being the most prestigious school, It was also the gathering place of the Elite Families in the country.

For people who wanted to form connections at an early age, studying here was a must. The entrance exam was labeled the hardest exam in the country because less than one percent were able to pass each year.

Those who managed to pass were called "Scholarship Students." Once they passed, the school would handle all their living expenses. The only thing that the academy expected from them was to become talented individuals that would play a vital role once they entered society.

These scholarship students were always sought out by the many prestigious families. There had been many cases where these elite families started a feud in order to reign in a talented individual.

In order to protect these talented students, the Academy has set up a rule that no family could force a scholarship student to come under their wing. Any offenders would be severely reprimanded by the Academy.

In order to settle these disputes peacefully, these families would bribe the scholarship students with ample resources. Once they agreed to become their subordinate, they would spare no effort to groom them and ensure that they had everything they wanted.

Many families had gained a lot from these investments. Some of the scholarship students that graduated from Saint Claire Academy had played leading roles and sat in high positions in society. Some of them even became politicians.

"Passing the entrance exam is just the first step," Ciel explained patiently. "Once you've passed, you will be like a lamb surrounded by wolves."

"Ciel, will they eat me up?"

"Yes. They will eat you and not even your bones will be left."

"Big Brother, are you sure Big Sister Kate is going to pass?"

"Oi! Are you saying I'm stupid?"

"Hehe, Big Sister, you're the one that said that not me."

Chloe giggled and stuck her tongue out at Kate when Ciel wasn't looking. Kate snorted and ignored her.

"Kate, listen to me," Ciel said in a serious tone. He didn't forget to flick the glasses on his face for emphasis. "If anyone were to ask who your sponsor is, you would tell them that it was the Belle Family."

"Um? Belle? Not Summers?"

"No." Ciel shook his head. While his surname was Summers, he didn't like the relatives on his father's side. "Your sponsor is the Belle Family."

Ciel didn't tell Kate that the Belle family was a sleeping dragon. No one in their right minds would outwardly provoke them, unless that person didn't know who they were dealing with. Giving Kate the protection of the Belle Family was the safest option.

Although the Summers family was also a prestigious family, it just couldn't compare to the Belle Family's reputation.

Kate nodded her head. She didn't dislike the idea. Grandpa Arthur and Grandma Alice were very kind. They treated her as their own grandchild and Kate treated them like her own grandparents.

"Ciel, how will I be able to repay you and your family for everything that you have done for me?" Kate asked. "There's no other choice. I will repay you with my body instea- Ouch!"

Kate held her forehead. Ciel used the wooden stick in his hand to lightly poke it. "Instead of saying stupid things, why don't you start by opening that book. Go to page ten..."

Chloe giggled and watched the scene in front of her. She felt nostalgic and remembered the times when her Big Brother was the one teaching her. It was one of her most treasured memories.

Kate begrudgingly studied under Ciel's watchful gaze. However, no matter what she did, the things she learned disappeared into thin air. She was reading the book, but it just wouldn't register inside her brain.

It was now eight in the evening so Ciel decided to take a break. He untied Kate from the chair and sat on his bed. He unbuttoned the top of his shirt to make himself more comfortable. He had just taken off his glasses when two small hands massaged his temples and Ciel sighed in pleasure.

"Does it feel good, Big Brother?"

"Yes, it feels really good. Thank you Chloe."

"Just close your eyes, Big Brother," Chloe said. "Leave everything to me."

"Mmm."

Soon, the sound of Ciel's steady breathing permeated the room. Chloe removed his shoes and took the glasses from his hand. She placed it on the desk beside the bed and headed for the closet. Taking out a pajama set, she returned to the bed and helped her Big Brother change his clothes.

She deftly unbuttoned Ciel's shirt and removed it with ease.

"Big Brother, please raise your hands."

"Mmm," Ciel replied. He was feeling very sleepy. Chloe's temple massage was so good. He felt like he could pass out any moment. Still, he did his best to stay awake and allow his "little sister" to help him change his clothes.

Chloe properly buttoned Ciel's pajama shirt. She was about to remove his pants when Ciel held her hand.

"I'll take it from here."

"Big Brother, it's fine. Allow me to do it for you. Just rest."

"Silly girl, I'll do it."

Ciel took the pajama pants from her hand and moved to the corner of the bed. He had his back facing Chloe as he took off his pants with ease. After putting on his pajama pants, he took the clothes he wore and dumped them in the wash basket at the corner of the room.

He sleepily walked towards Chloe and gave her a soft peck on the cheeks. "Thank you, and goodnight Chloe."

"Goodnight, Big Brother." Chloe also gave him a goodnight kiss.

Ciel gently laid down on the bed. He was about to close his eyes when he felt a soft peck on his cheeks.

"Goodnight, Ciel."

Ciel smiled and reached out his hand to pull Kate closer. He gave her a kiss on the cheeks and bade her goodnight.

After giving the two girls their goodnight kisses, Ciel went to dreamland the moment he closed his eyes. The two girls were left in the room. Both of them stared at each other casually.

"I'm going back to my room."

"Me too!"

The two of them walked out of the room together and headed to their respective rooms. Later that night, as if the two of them had planned it beforehand, both of them returned to Ciel's room at the same time.

They didn't say anything to each other and simply laid beside Ciel.

"Ne~ is that exam really hard?"

"If it was easy then anyone could get in."

"You're also going to Saint Claire Academy right?" Kate asked.

Chloe yawned sleepily. "Yes. I want to be with Big Brother so I'm also going to Saint Claire Academy."

"Are you going to take an exam too?"

"Of course."

The two girls chatted beside Ciel until nine in the evening. They were not afraid that he would wake up while they talked beside him. Ciel was a deep sleeper. Andrea joked that Ciel wouldn't wake up in his sleep even if there was an earthquake. Although the two girls wouldn't admit it both of them had become a bit closer due to their mutual feelings towards Ciel.

"Do you know moderation?"

"Moderation?"

"Yes, let me teach you how to do things in moderation." Kate said with a mischievous smile. It's been a few days since she did it. Chloe was always guarding against her so she didn't have any opportunity to kiss Ciel. In order to do it freely, she decided to make Chloe her accomplice.

Kate kissed Ciel's lips in front of Chloe. The latter was shocked speechless because of Kate's shameless behavior.

"Y-You!"

"Um? What are you waiting for? Go ahead and kiss him too."

"Eh?!"

"Go on," Kate said. She was like a devil tempting Chloe to do bad things. "Did you know that your "Big Brother's" lips are very soft? Why don't you give it a try?"

"B-But!"

"But?"

"I don't want Big Brother to hate me."

"Relax, if you don't tell him, he will never know," Kate said with a smile. Chloe could have sworn she saw two small horns protruding out of Kate's head and a tail wagging behind her back. "It will be our little secret."

"Our little secret?"

"Yes! Our little secret. Now go on!"

The sweet temptation of kissing her Big Brother on the lips was too much for Chloe to bear. With the devil's (Kate's) nudging, the innocent Chloe headed down the path of corruption. That night, the devil taught the little angel how to do things in moderation.

"Moderation is the key. Remember that!"

"Un! Moderation is the key."

"Um? Why are you kissing him thrice?"

"You kissed Big Brother twice, so I'm kissing him thrice."

"Oi! Didn't I just tell you to do things in moderation?!"

After arguing for a while, the two compromised and settled to kissing Ciel two more times before they slept. That night, Chloe slept with a smile on her face. She didn't know that doing things in moderation was such a wonderful feeling!
