89 Ethan’s Determination

Ethan was lying sprawled on the floor breathing hard as he looked at the silly grin on his uncle's face. The latter was looking down on him with an amused expression. The young boy could only grit his teeth as he used his arms to prop himself up.

"You still want more?" Ethan's uncle, Andy Kerr, asked his nephew teasingly. "You can give up anytime you know."

"No," Ethan answered as he took a stance. "One more round, Uncle."

"Hah, you've got guts, I'll give you that."

"You better keep your promise."

Andy only snorted when he heard his nephew's words. An hour ago, he was watching T.V with his four-year-old daughter when Ethan came unannounced into his home. That alone was fine, but when he saw his baby girl run and jump into his nephew's embrace, his daddy instincts kicked into high gear.
