Raidan -

"Hey, a new movie has came out at the theater. Do you want to check it out? " B(Bayazid) said disturbing me from my thoughts.

"We have got an exam tomorrow and here you are thinking of a movie....!! Impressive!! Really really really impressive!! I'm so proud of you B". I said looking at him.

He chuckled hearing me. I know he saw through the sarcasm.

"No, R. I'm proud of you. I'm really proud that you don't even know that the exam tomorrow is for the first year students. While we, are already on our way to graduation." He pressed his lips hard at the end of his sentence. His face looked as if he were downhearted.

"First year?".

He nodded.

"Movie? Which movie?" I said trying to hide that I was ashamed.

"It's a new sci-fi film on the black hole theory." He replied.

I could see the evilness right into his eyes.

"Who is the director?"I asked with a frown.

"Robert Gladstone. That old evil bastard", B said with his cocky smile.

"Language B. You must take care of your image. You can't say those words. In fact none of us can", I said pretending to be a saint, which I'm not.

"Image....!! You are right. My mistake," B said with a sarcastic smile.

"Did you ask the others? Do they wanna go?"

"A(Ahmed) and S(Salim) are going. And about M(Mahmed) he will go if you go", B said.

"Ok then I'll get changed and you go and call others including M".

"Right on it." he went away, throwing a salute on my way.

Even though, I went to the dressing room to get changed, my mind kept on thinking about the evening. I kept on thinking about how I ruined a perfect moment. I should be given the award for being the biggest destroyer of good moments. It's not that I wasn't one already, but I never expected that I would ruin my moment with her.

It's not an unknown fact that I'd fallen in love with her since the moment I first saw her. But given my special identity, I can't afford to be in a relationship with anyone, or even think of anyone. So I tried to avoid her for a few months since she joined the team. I was fighting against my heart and my feelings. But in a couple of months , I became too tired. And then I realized that it's impossible for me to stay away from her. And it was then when I surrendered to my heart. I decided to chase her. But unfortunately, I had already created a bad image of myself infront of her. And so, the carefree girl from that waiting room is now sacred of me. She runs away as soon as I try to get close to her or even talk to her.

"R, are you ready?" M screamed my name from outside the room.

"Yeah", I replied snapping out of my thoughts about her.

I picked up my phone and opened the door to meet the boys outside. Everybody is ready. A brought the car infront of the door. Everybody stepped in, I was also about to when I received a text from Professor Kim. He asked me to meet him at his office. I wonder what this is about. I made an upset face and told them about it. "Sorry guys, can't go. Mr. Kim called me in his office so I gotta go to meet him."

"Come on, What does he want now?" S said in an angry voice.

"Well, I gotta go to find that out. You guys go. I'll join you guys next time. Bye", I said slamming the door of the car.

While they drove away, I went back to my room to get my car keys. I drove my way to Mr. Kim's office.

"Professor, you called me?" I said politely.

"Yeah, well I heard you asked D to marry you!" he said looking at his cup of tea.

"Woo.... You have already found out about it? Yeah, I did. Even though it wasn't my intention, it somehow turned out this way," I said with a grin.

"It looks like our plan to start the rumor has been successful," he said with a smile big enough to express him being proud of himself .

Even though he was proud of himself but I felt like a bolt from the blue fell upon me. I had no idea that he was behind this rumor. Yeah I had expected B to be the one. But professor Kim, not even in my wildest dreams could I imagine it.

"What? Were you behind this rumor??I can't believe you Professor!! Why did you do that" I asked him for an explanation.

Listening to me he realized that he had let the cat out of the bag. He realized that he did something that he shouldn't have.

"Don't blame me. It's not all me, B is the one to blame in here. He had noticed that you have feelings for her. And since it's your first time so he wanted to help you and that's why we did everything," he said in low sound .

And he looked at me to see my reaction. I was burning with anger. Of course I appreciate their thinking but spreading a rumor that, ' I'm gay and I've an immoral relationship with M', is completely disgusting and misleading.

"I appreciate your worry for me but spreading rumors like that is ludicrous , don't you think so? I mean what if she actually believed in it and refused to see me? Have you thought of it?" I said, somehow holding back my fire of anger.

"What?! You are right. I'm so sorry that I didn't think so far. But then again, how did she reply to your proposal??"

I knew that Professor Kim loves us all way too much. And Lam, he takes her as his own daughter. To him all members of DT are his kids. But Lam has a different place in his heart. And the only reason for that is, her kind heart, that worries for everybody she knows. So, it's not surprising that he did all these and now he is asking me about the outcome.

"She didn't answer. So, I gave her some time to think over it." I said rolling my eyes.

"R, no Raidan, listen there are a few things that I must warn you about. Well, marriage is a very big thing. It's a lifetime thing. Only when we are certain that, 'yes, I am sure that I can spend rest of my life with her, without any change of feelings and being loyal with her for as long as I live.' Do you know it? Do you understand it?" he said being seriously concerned.

I couldn't help but laugh at the fact that he is actually having 'sense talk' with me like a father would when he has been single all his life.. But however I still had to answer him.

"Yes, Professor I know and I understand . Don't worry, since I've proposed her for marriage, I won't take it as a joke. I'll treat it with seriousness". I continued as I assured him, " I'm not having a fling with her. Yeah , I was in conflict with myself before but now I'm as clear as the sky that, SHE IS THE ONE FOR ME. I won't treat her badly."

He smiled at me and said, "Good.... Very good . I'm glad that you feel that way . But let me tell you one thing, marriage has a bigger effect on a girl than on a boy. We are men, so it won't matter to us even if we are divorced. But she will be haunted by it forever given her background, I mean given the society she belongs. So, don't hold her if you have plans to let go".

I was a little shocked by what he said. I was shocked because I didn't think that much. He is right, I shouldn't ruin her future.

"But, if you are certain that you can keep her company forever as a friend, a lover, a life partner then go for it. And give it your best. I have faith in you," his eyes were shining and they were almost teary when he said these.

"Don't worry Professor, I know what to do. So, I won't let you down and her." I said to him with an assuring smile.

Note : Here everybody ( all the DT members) address each other using their nicknames. Bayazid is called B, Ahmed is called A, Mahmed is called M , Raidan is called R, and Salim is called S. But the girls can be addressed however they want. For example, Disha is called De. Alexia is called Al , Ruri is called Ru, Hope is called Hope, and Elsa is called Elsa . And here only Raidan calls De as Lam.
