Disha -

It's 8 pm now. It has been 3 hours since I started my study but still I haven't been able to finish one chapter. It's all Raidan's fault. How am I suppose to give exam tomorrow if I can't concentrate on my study??? He really had to drop the bomb before my matrix exam. I am already very weak in it and now including these tensions, I wonder how I'll give exam tomorrow...

I slapped my face with my both hands a couple of time and told myself to concentrate on studies, but every time I read a sentence , my mind travels back to this afternoon when Raidan said, "Marry me. " And thinking of that I flushed once again. My face feels like burning.... So, I walked to my window and opened it, it's snowing outside. I put my hand out and catch some snow and then I put them on my face. It feels good. But just a minute later it gets awkwardly cold. So, I closed the window and after wiping my hands I put them inside the pocket of my jumper.

As I sat on the chair trying to concentrate on my studies, I remember the moment when I had first seen him. I was in the waiting room, waiting for the guy, professor Kim had asked me to meet .

I was looking through my phone when he asked me, " Hey, are you Lam? "

As soon as I looked at him I was stunned by his beauty. He is tall, really tall 6.2 maybe. He has ocean blue eyes and brown hair and beautiful thin cherry colored lips. His skin color is something I could never comprehend. He looks pink white under the sunlight in summer, and yellow white under the lab lights and pale white in winter. He is probably the most handsome guy I've ever seen in my life. Sorry Harry Styles, but no offense.

"No. " I replied to his question. Actually apart from my name Disha I've another name, it's Lamia. In here people call me as De. As short form of Disha. But he asked me if I was Lam . Well I'm not Lam so of course I said no.

Then he looked around and again looked at me. He then said, "None of these people look like Lam. Professor Kim asked me to meet Lam. Are you sure you are not her? "

"Professor Kim?? Are you the team captain of DT?? " I said as we both had Professor Kim in common.

"You don't know me? " he asked.

"No, well, I'm sorry. I'm new in here so I don't know most of the people. " I apologized as I thought I might have made a mistake.

Well I could never guess what he is thinking neither did I at that time. But I'm think I had seen him chuckling. I'm not sure though. Cause after that day I've never seen him smile let alone chuckle.

"It's alright." he said.

"I've heard that Professor Kim has asked you to join the team. I'm not sure of his reasons. But since he has asked you, he must have had a valid reason," he added.

I was confused about what to say. So I just just nodded.

"So, why don't you want to join the team? Could it be because there are no girls? " he said trying to know my reason .

But I was surprised at his statement. He said there were no girls. I wasn't aware of it so I was surprised.

"What? There are no girls? " I said being surprised.

"Wait, you didn't know about it, did you?" he asked with a twitch in the corner of his lips.

It seemed as if he was glad that I just learnt about it from him.

"No, I didn't know that. And that's why, this is definitely not the reason why I don't want to join the team." His twitch disappeared.

"Then what's your reason? Why don't you want to join the team?" he asked with the seriousness though his eyes.

"My reasons are simple. I've got study and..... Umm... I'vegottodowork ," I said the last part as fast as I could to make sure that he half hears it.

"Ok, so you have got study and you have got work. " Naive me thinking that he won't be able to hear me...!!!!

"Ummm..... Let me tell you something, see if it convinces you. Ok, so about study, in the first few days, you'll be able to complete half syllabus, if you can keep up with us. And also for being in the team you get extra point. And the respect that you will get, it'll be beyond any other student of this university. Ok, now let's talk about money.... We get the highest scholarship not only of this country but also of the whole Europe. Leaving out the winning money, the amount that we get from scholarship in a year is a few million. So, after this, do you think you'll need to work?"

"A few million?? Really??" I asked being astonished at his way of convincing me.

"Yeah, of course. So are you convinced?" he said.

"You are not lying, are you?"

"Do you think I can lie to you?" he said making a deep eye contact with me.

I looked away as I said, "I'm convinced. When should I come to join you?"

"Well, I don't know. My job was to convince you. And I've done it. As for other information... Professor Kim will tell you about them."

"Oh.... Ok."

I don't know why but it hurted my pride a little bit hearing him. I somehow felt like I've been scammed . He trapped me in his words.

Well that was our first encounter, it wasn't that impressive but still it's one of my most favorite memories. Dang it!! What am I doing? Let's focus on study.....!!!!

NOTE: DT is an England, mainly Oxford based study/ research club. This club is controlled by the teachers committee of Oxford University. . Everybody wants to get in it. But no one can. Only ten students so far have made to the team. Actually the team was built with the boys. Disha is the first girl to join after her, Alexia , Ruri , Hope, and Elsa joined the team.
