4 Oh Geez

Racheal Point of View:

"My day was going fine until that fucking nice ass bitch just has to ruin it," I said in annoyance.

"Watch your language, young lady," Mom says. "Your brother should be here soon, and your sister is upstairs in the shower."

"Okay," I sigh.

I walk upstairs to my room, it's lonely in my bedroom sometimes. My brother is getting his engineering degree done in college as for his fiance, Jessica, she's getting her teaching degree done.

My dad is a doctor and he just moves around from hospitals to hospitals a lot. My mother used to be a nurse until she quit because she wants to be a housewife and take care of us. My sister, Abigail, is a cutie. She's 7 years younger than me which makes her 10 years old and my brother is 24 years old, 7 years older than me.

Yes, I'm the middle child and we are all 7 years apart. What is really funny is that my big brother wasn't planned because my mother got pregnant in high school by my father at the age of 16. Did they regret it though? Definitely not, they got married right after high school and had me when my mother was 23 years old.

Their love story is chaos, but it's true love at the same time.

"Sissy, are you in there?" A small voice asks from the other side of the door.

"Yup," I responded. "I'll meet you downstairs after I take a shower."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After taking a long shower, I put my hair up in a bun after it's half-dried.
"Now there's my Jo-Jo," hollered Jacob when I reach the bottom of the steps. "Give your big bro a huge."
I run into his open arms, "I miss you so much, Jacob."
"I miss you too, Jo-Jo," Jacob whispers in my ear. I could feel his arm tightens around me blocking my airway.
"I don't think you miss me, you're trying to kill me here," I gasp for air. "Oh geez."
"But I do miss you," Jacob pouts.
"I know." I smile.
"Hello, Rachael and Abigail," Jessica says with a small wave.
"Oh dear, don't be shy," Mom says. "How are you, Jessica?"
Jessica is a sweet and shy girl, opposite my brother who's loud and wild. Her engagement ring is noticeable, a big diamond ring on her ring finger. She got engaged to my brother for almost a year now, and their wedding is just next month.
"I'm doing fabulous, Mom," Jessica says happily.
Mom's eyes sparkle when Jessica calls her Mom, I wish I could sparkle my mother's eyes too. Except, I bring heated fire within them. So unfair.
"Where's daddy?" Abigail asks.
"He will be home at any moment," Mom says.
"How's the first day of school?" Jacob asks both of us.
"Um...I made a friend," Abigail says. "People are nice here, well compare to my old school."
"At least you made a friend Abby, however, if something happens," Jacob says. "If they start to bully you, I'm gonna beat their butt up."
"Jacob," Mom says sternly. "Violence doesn't solve any problems, it only makes it bigger."
"I know, Mom. I'm just trying to say big brother got your back," Jacob groans.
"We know you got your sister back, dear," Jessica says, planting a kiss on Jacob's cheek.
"I got your back too, my love," Jacob says.
"You two are so cute," Mom says happily. "I can't wait to see little Jessica and little Jacob running around."
Jacob looks at Jessica with a warm smile before looking away.
"Alright enough with the lovey-dovey, I swear this is too cute for me," I joke.
"Rachael, your ex, and you were a lot worse than Jessica and Jacob," Abby said.
"What?" I exclaimed. "How?"
"Wait, you're ex?!" Jacob says in shock. "You broke up with Becky? The girl with black roses on her arm, dragon tattoo on her back, and many piercings on her ear?"
"How did you know she has a dragon tattoo?" I ask.
Abby rolls her eyes, "Geez sissy, Becky would either walk around half-naked with her sports bra or a transparent shirt."
"Oh," I say. It's true, Becky does have tons of tattoos on her skin, but I love each one of them. She hates it when I touch her piercing, but I like it. She loves to show off her tattoos, and many people say she gives off bad vibes. Does she? I guess, she does drugs and had gotten multiple tickets for over-speeding down the highway.
"You broke up with Becky right?" Jacob asks.
"No, she broke up with me," I say, I don't feel sad or anything. I know that we aren't going to last.
"Finally!" Jacob says happily.
"Finally?" I say dumbfounded. "What's wrong with Becky?"
"Are you blind or something?" Jacob asks.
I look at Mom, "Am I blind?"
"Yes," Mom says simply.
"What's wrong with Becky?" I ask again.
"Becky is just...handful," Mom says. "She's a danger."
"I know she sells drugs, she does illegal things, she goes to bars underage, and she carries bad vibes," I say. "But she's..."
My mind went blank as I try to think of something good about my ex, oh geez, why am I defending Becky? When I knew all along she never liked me or loved me from the start, our relationship is toxic. We fought a lot, but we have sex a lot, too.
"...she plays good music," I say. "And...she's good in bed..."
"Excuse me," Jessica interrupts. "I think this conversation should between mother and daughter, not the whole family..."
"O-oh, of course," Mom says. "Rachael we can talk about this later."
"Let's get the food ready before, Dad comes home," Jessica says as she heads to the kitchen.
I followed her, and the rest stays behind.
"You deserve better, Rachael," Jessica says. "Someone who would love you for who you are, not for your body."
I remain silent as I help Jessica with the food. Then out of the blue, my mind wonders to nice ass, bitch. Oh geez.
