Ring.... Ring....

"Hello" Joyce picked up the phone.

"Joyce! Quick! Book tickets for this Sunday flight back to S country. Morning flight at 10 a.m. They are using World Airlines!! I asked Sherly last night and she told me that both Jayden's and her mom have booked their return tickets for this Saturday. So quickly get yours so that we can all go back together!!!!!! " Lily immediately blurted out everything the moment she heard Joyce's voice on the phone.

"Whooooaaaaa... Calm down.... Calm down...." Joyce said slowly and patiently... " Take a deep breath... then tell me again...."

Pufff.... Pufff.... Lily tried to contain her excitement and tried to take a deeeeeeeep breath.... "Okay... calming down... I'm calming down.... I'm calming down...."

"Okay..... Now tell me... Which Airlines?" Joyce speak to her slowly and patiently....

" They use World Airlines...."

"Okay.... Now, When is the flight???"

" This Saturday, at 10 a.m.... " Lily answered obediently....

"Okay.... Have you booked yours already...???" Joyce talked to Lily as if she was talking to a five-years-old kid.

Squinting her eyes, even though Joyce couldn't possibly see it, "Are you mocking me, babe?" Lily asked suspiciously.

"That dare not do, babe..." Joyce laughing silently. "So, have you gotten yours?"

"Yeap! I bought it early this morning..." Lily announced proudly.

"Hmmmm.... How early...??" Joyce was wondering while looking at the clock in front of her which shows 6.30 a.m.

"Very... Very... Early???" Lily replied sheepishly...

"Hahahahaha.... I am shocked that you can wait till now to call me.... What time did you know about this? Last night?" Joyce was amused. Her tinkling laughter can be heard ringing through the house.

"Oh well.... I called her last night and was too excited to fall asleep so I contacted my aunt last night and pestered her until she bought it for me this morning... Officially fly this Saturday...!!!"

"...." Joyce lost her voice upon hearing this and shook her head...

Why this girl is so crazy about this flight.... She was wondering.

They ended the call.

Joyce tried to buy the tickets with the same time and Airlines but couldn't since the school holiday was almost over and most tickets were sold out especially the ones on weekend. So, in the end, she booked the Monday flight and though Lily was disappointed, she accepted it in the end.

"How am I gonna live without you for 2 days???" Lily lamented gloomily on the phone when Joyce regretfully told her about it.

"I know right??? Just bear it for 2 days and I'll be right there with you, babe..." Joyce said in sorrow...

Both pretended to cry loudly and laughed....

On Monday, when Joyce queued at the ticket counter to get her boarding pass, she saw a familiar figure.
