1 Chapter 1:

Shouts and calls brought me out of bed in a normal Saturday morning for breakfast. I groggily rubbed my eyes as I sat up my bed, blinking fast trying to comprehend what was happening.

Soon my eyes landed on my alarm clock nearby and my eyes widened at the time. Rushly standing up, I cursed under my breath as I hastily fixed my short black hair and reached for my glasses. I had forgotten to cook breakfast.

Usually, I would wake up every morning at 5:00 AM to cook a well-rounded breakfast for my siblings and I that would easily lasted until lunch. It has become a habit and a every day task ever since I learned to do so.

But somehow, my alarm clock had not rung this morning. Had I forgotten to set it yesterday night? No... that couldn't be. I remember vividly that I timed it. Did I... sleep through it? Gah! The podsibility has more chance of being true than any thing I thought of in my mind! I bet it was because I went star-gazing last night till 1 AM or so, maybe I forgot the time and headed to sleeo late without realizing it.

I exited my bedroom door, immediately calling, "Soory guys! I had overslept and had forgotten to cook breakfast today, but don't worry. This will be the last chance and I'l be quick to-."

I was abdruptly cut off and my eyes landed on to my siblings on the table, eating... food.

Who the hell cooked it? No offense, but I'm the only one who knows how to cook a proper meal in this family. Lindon's too lazy, Saige is too scared of getting a burn, Chase likes to play around, YanYan bakes only, André would rather loose to Lindon in games than touch any one of the cooking materials, Chloe wouldn't make anything healthy and Yanna is too young.

Whoo! That's all my siblings I guess. And only poor me as the responsible adult here; Lindon's more of a child in an adult's body.

"What...? Where did you get all that food..." I asked slowly, walking up to the table. The dining room was actually just outside my bedroom as it is on the first floor.

Lindon was the first to notice me, while the others still stuffing their mouths with piles and piles of spaghetti. Oh how much I love these guys!

"Good morning, Ach." He greeted me, I nodded at him, question in my eyes as I surveyed the food on the table. Noticing my action, he shrugged.

"We knew that you were going to go star gazing yesterday night and prepared for breakfast today beforehand. We actually had an argument on what food to buy but we decided on Jollibee's because... why not?"

I stared at him accusingly, "I told you no Jollibee's for this month, Lindon! I bet you bought heaps of chicken and fries along with the spaghetti-."

"He did," piped Saige.

Ignoring her, I continued. "They're all going to get diabetes! They're going to get all sick and you'rr going to give them to poor old me and... and..." I was lost for words to what to say next.

"You're not being a good proper role model!" I finished, ot really satisfied with what I said.

He just simply raised an eyebrow at me. "Me? Not a proper role model? Says the person who gets diabetes everyday."

That got a small giggle from the table. I tried to glare at the person who did it but unfortunately Yanna was quite hard to be mad at since she was an adorable, little prickly cactus.

Expected from a charming side of me to protect my ego, I opened my mouth to say some words on my behalf when the doorbell rang.
