An Apology Full of Lies
In the center of the living room, Adrian and Avians sat across from two people from the Harrison Family, Cecillia and her daughter, Zoey. The Avians' biological family.
They had come to the Foster Family residence to meet the Avians, apologizing for what they had done. This was one of the plans they had thought through a few days ago to get what they wanted.
At first Adrian refused to let them into his house, but Avians asked him to let them in. She at least wanted to hear what her mother and sister had to say.
"Avians, we're really sorry for what we've done to you over the years. We are truly sorry," her mother said as she bowed her head.
"I forgot that my daughter really needed my attention all this time and that I had behaved badly towards you. I carried you with so much love and yet I..." Cecillia wiped her tears with the handkerchief she was holding.
