2 The first meeting

A normal day in Jerk Berg Middle School, Cheri had grown up in Jerk Berg, naturaly, everyone was a jerk... When Cheri got on the school bus, normally she was the first one on, but today a boy was already on. She had heard that some one moved next door, she was curious if she could finally make a friend. Cheri walked over to the seat the new boy was in, before she could even sit down he was already flipping her off. She decided she would play it cool and sit in the seat on the other side of the bus, now that Cheri was up close she could tell what he really looked like. Even though he was sitting down she could tell he was built tall and strong, he was wearing a grey hoody so she couldn't see his face, all she could see was a bit of his mouth. Even if he already hates Cheri, she was compelled to ask,

"I don't care if you hate me, so does everyone else," No responce, "but could you at least tell me your name?" they were both silent, Cheri gave up and looked out the window. Several minuets passed,

"Aron,"

"What?"

"if I'm gonna tell you, I should before everyone else gets on, it's Aron..." Cheri didn't really know how to respond, "Thanks..." They didn't talk for the rest of the ride.

It was 10:00 and 2nd block had started, Aron walked into his class late, he opened the door and everyone turned their head, all except one... It was the girl from the bus, Aron realized he never caught her name. He looked to the teacher.

"Pretty average, I'm dissapointed..."

"Please sit where ever you like." The teacher looked as if she was slightly intimated by him, but Aron was used to it. Aron walked toward the girl's desk, and sat in the desk next to her.

"You know, I never did catch your name." She looked at him in confusion, as if saying, Why do you care?

"Um, I-it's Cheri." Aron didn't respond, he just nodded and faced forward. Something about it didn't seem right to Cheri, a few hours ago he was flipping her off, now he wants to chit-chat? He was being kind of an ass, but somehow that attracted Cheri, she was talented with human phycology, perhaps she could claim him over time.

The school bell rings 12:00, most everyone just skipped the part where you actually get lunch, including Cheri and Aron. Cheri walked to the table she normally sat at to find Aron there first. She couldn't blame Aron, when you're sad and alone, the table was in a dark corner so you could suffer in silence in peace. Although, Cheri refused to give up her seat...

"Mind if I sit here?"

"Yes..."

Cheri was going to sit there regardless of his answer. A moment passed, and he tried to walk off...

"W-Wait, I only want to talk to you once. Then I'll leave you alone." Aron just starred at Cheri, he nodded.

"Make it quick."

"Why did you flip me off on the bus, but sit next to me in 2nd block?"

"I was upset, my family moved here with no regard for how I felt. My only two friends are in my old city... Now I have to get used to here..." Aron's eyes started to tear up a little, he left too quickly for Cheri to say anything. She wondered if she could get some more out of him tomorrow.
