5 The day after

"Wait you went to visit your mother out of state...." Nikki began, "Yea she was unwell and she knew of Jimin, whe really liked him." I told them. Jayde began laughing uproariously, "He waited till you weren't home and then packed his shit and left, no communication at all?" Jayde asked in the middle of laughing. Galaxy shook her head, "And you still have feelings for him?", Tessie then chimed in "Girls come on, up until that incident, Jimin was the perfect gentleman. When we were all together Jimin was always attentive to all Simone's needs." she added. "None of us saw this coming, at least us girls." Mimi came over and knelt in front of me, "He knowingly hurt you and did not see the importance of taking responsibility of his actions and talking it out with you. Stop allowing him to be in control of you." she said to me. Nikki added to Mimi's words, "Mimi is right, Minseok is a great guy, don't throw away what you have foa selfish asshole." For the rest of the day we talked, laughed, drank beers and spent quality girl time together.

the next morning I awoke to breakfast being made in my kitchen, I dragged myself into the kitchen to find Minseok preparing breakfast. "Morning." I said sleepily, "Morning gorgeous." he responded as he kissed my forehead, I smiled at him. Minseok always knew how to make me feel comforted and calm so I just stood in the kitchen looking at this wonderful man, how could I hurt him like this. He noticed me looking at him and smiled, I'm sorry about the other night, I feel like I had abandoned you, I didn't even call you." I chuckled "It's okay I know how demanding your dad can be." I answered. "Well hurry up, I'm taking you to work and then taking you to dinner tonight." he said, "You don't have to do that." I protested, "Yes I do...." he started as he turned off the stove. "My job is to never leave you feeling neglected." he finished. He then picked me up and carried me to the bathroom, morning shower sex yes please I thought while I was kissing him as he carried me off to the bathroom. After an invigorating shower, breakfast and being dropped off to the office, I was in a great mood.

I had a bounce in my step as I entered the office with a huge smile on my face, "Somebody looks better this morning." Galaxy stated as I passed by her desk. "That's because I have the best guy in the world." I answered her as I smiled, "Come on we have a briefing to attend." she said, walking with me to the debriefing room. Inside the room everyone else was already there and seated, JImin and his boys were on one side of the room, and Nikki and the rest of the girls sat on the other side. "Look who got dropped off to work this morning." Galaxy announced loudly. She was never the subtle one, "Hey how is Minseok?" Jayde asked also loudly with a smirk on her face, I knew they were doing this for JImin's attention and I just shook my head at them smiling. "He came home this morning and we're going to dinner tonight." I said quietly as I sat down, "Someone seems happy this morning, details please, how spectacular was it?" Nikki blurted out loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Nikki, we have other people in the room." I told her, then a voice sounded from across the room, "Please continue I want to know how spectacular it was too." Jayde now turned in her seat, "I'm sorry the room is usually ours, we forgot you were there Jungkook.", Nikki then added "Besides her boyfriend....." stressing on the boyfriend part, "Will probably be willing to teach you how to treat a woman and keep her happy, since you seem to want to know." Jungkook laughed, "So who says he doesn't know how to do that?" Namjoon added to the conversation. Galaxy just states plainly not even looking in their direction, "Cause we have met your friend and my mother always told me, you can learn a lot about a person by their friends." she finished emphasising on the word friend. This morning has gone from great to awkward, thankfully Dan came in and we all settled down to listen to Dan before we were all sent back to our respective offices. We all sat down together discussing the case when Jimin knocked on our office door, "Simone can we talk please?" he said in a quiet tone. Everyone turned to look at him and Nikki who was close to the door got up, before she could say anything or closed the door shut, I ran to the doorway.

"Sure." I answered, I then turned around and mouthed to the others 'Behave' and walked out closing the door behind me, we both walked out of the office building. "Look...." I began I'm sorry about my friends, they are a little overprotective." I laughed "We all look out for each other." I finished. "That's okay." he smiled "They are your friends, they should always be protective of you." he added, "I was thinking we could have lunch in the cafe and talk." he said a pleading look on his face. "Sure." I said with a short nod, he then escorted me across the road to the cafe, we both ordered and sat down at the back of the cafe, Jimin began "I guess you told your friends about me." I looked at him over the top of my coffee cup, not answering, he smiled as he looked at me , "Sorry about your shoes." I mumbled, he laughed out loudly "That's okay, they were last season's style or so the sales girl told me." I smiled back, "What did you want to talk about Jimin?" I asked quietly, JImin looked me in the eyes and held my hand, "Simone when I left I didn't have a choice, hurting you was the last thing I wanted to do." he said with a sincere look on his face, "You were the world to me, and you still are."

"I know you have someone new and I don't want to cause problems, but I wanted to know if you were still single if you would have given me another chance." I slid my hands from out of his and looked at him, why would he ask that or try to confuse me like this, I looked down as I began to play with my napkin, tearing it into little pieces. "Simone..." he said as he gently placed his hand on top of mine, halting my fidgeting. "Don't, I shouldn't have asked that question I'm sorry." he stated, "It's just that when I saw you again I felt guilty for hurting you and it broke my heart when I saw how my presence had hurt you again."
