6 Dinner with Minseok

Fuck, JImin was always a smooth talker he always knew what to say, damn why am I feeling so guilty now, I am feeling like he was waiting for me all this time and I couldn't wait and now he wants me back and I have messed things up. If only he knew how much I missed him, I wanted to say it, I wanted to tell him that I would give him a second chance in a heartbeat. I wanted to say that, I wanted nothing more than to be in his arms having sex until we were both burnt out, to make up for the time we lost. But a little voice in my head stopped me from opening my mouth and fucking up my self at that moment, but little did I know I would be doing that very same thing in a few months from now. I took a deep breath and told him "Things are the way they are now, let's just get through this case and see how things work out from there." Jimin smiled, stood up as he had finished his coffee and sandwich. I however, had lost my appetite, he bent over me while I was deep in thought and placed a kiss on my forehead as he used to do, "Let's go back." he whispered and took my hand. He escorted me back to the precinct and I went back to my office, "So...?" Nikki began, I jumped as I was still deep in thought, it was only then I looked up to see that the others were still in the room. I sat down and began talking to them, my head was down as I began tearing a page on my desk into little pieces.

I told them everything he said and what I said to him, Tessie walked over to me and grabbed my hands "Stop!" she said causing me to look up at him. He is twisting your feelings for him and playing you." she said plainly still holding my hands, "He is only concern about his happiness and not yours." she continued. I could feel the tears begin to form in my eyes and I answered "I know and the more my brain says he doesn't care, my heart keeps saying what if he is being real." I finished quietly. "He can't even give you a definite reason for leaving in the first place, just that it wasn't by choice." Nikki added, I know what they were saying was true, but I was torn and was hurting. My phone soon rang and I was heading out f the office as Minseok was waiting to carry me home, he dropped me off and told me he would be back by seven thirty to take me to dinner. I stepped into the apartment and as I closed the door a message came in on my phone, I looked and saw it was JImin messaging me, "Ignore it Simone you have a dinner to get ready for, don't let him get into your head tonight." I said to myself as I undressed on my way to the shower. By seven I was ready and waiting for Minseok, which was a change as he would always have to wait for me.

I laughed to myself as I messaged Minseok, just as the message was sent the door to my apartment opened and there was Minseok smiling at me taking in everything about me. I had decided to wear the dress he bought me for our first date together, a designer 'V' neck with pleats, a cut out waist, see through back, ankle length mermaid long evening dress. On my feet I wore nude colored strappy lace up high heels, dinner with Minseok was what I needed, I felt so relaxed, so comfortable, he is too good to me. "Simone?" I hear someone call my name, I broke out of my thoughts to see Minseok smiling face looking at me, "Sorry my mind was far." I said to him apologizing, he took my hand, "Simone I want us to move in together, I want to be able to show you everyday how serious I am of making this relationship eternal." I took a short quick breath and looked at him intently, "What?" was all I could say, "I know the proposition is a little scary after your last relationship, but I want you to be my forever and I want to be yours." he said slightly squeezing my hand.

My heart was racing at this point, "If you're sure I'm who you want then yes." I said still looking at him unblinkingly, with that Minseok pulled me into a deep passionate kiss in the booth we were sitting in at the restaurant. We finished dinner and went to my apartment, we were barely inside when Minseok began kissing and undressing me, he picks me up holding my now completely naked body close to him and carries me to the bedroom. That night was the most intense night for me as I had so much going on in my head that just Minseok's mere touch gave me goosebumps, I wanted to stop time so I could have stayed in Minseok's arms forever. I awoke to Minseok bringing breakfast to me in bed, this man has always given me the world, I'm lucky to have him, I get ready and head to the precinct. "Well somebody is happy." Nikki said smiling at me as I walked into the office with a stupid smile on my face, "Minseok asked me to move in together with him, he is looking for an apartment for us so that I could move out of the one I'm in." I told them. They were all excited and congratulated me, while we are looking for a new apartment close to the city as we both work in the city Minseok moved some of his things into my apartment, my spare key was now his. No more sleeping alone.
