5 Chapter 5

After the speech was made by MinHe and Lisa the band started to play, and the couples started to group up, and dance. MinYue went back to the second level, and leaned up against the ledge. His handsome side profile caught the eye of many, but those who worked with him knew that he wasn't one to welcome unwanted company. His freshly shaven face was free of any flaws, his black suit was custom fitted so it accentuated his long arms and legs perfectly. His blonde hair was slicked back, but he had this look that said don't approach. Any woman would fall for him instantly if it wasn't for the cold, unwelcoming aurora he emitted. It scared most woman away from him, except for Elizabeth Xia. She wanted to claim this man as her own for the longest time now. She convinced her father to have marriage talks with Ming-Fa recently, and to her surprise Mr. Park told her father that it was up to MinYue. So in the end she would have to convince him to marry her. The only way she could think of was to get him to take her purity, and then make him take responsibility for it. She took a deep breath and with a "Special" drink in hand, she walked up to him. The pill she ground up, and placed in the drink takes a half an hour to kick in. So she had to make sure they were alone when his "Mighty sword" started to react to the drug. She carefully set the drink next to him and spoke sweetly, "MinYue, I noticed that your glass was empty. So I got you a new one."

He turned his head slightly to see who was talking to him, and when he noticed is was Elizabeth he complained inside. 'What does she want now. How many times do I need to turn her down before she gets it!'

When she didn't get a response she took it as an invite to continue speaking, "MinYue, my father told me that your company will be releasing a new product. Would you be able to tell me about it?"

MinYue really didn't want to deal with her right now. He currently held a great view of Cera down below, and didn't want to take his eyes off of her. She was happily chatting away with her friends. He didn't turn to face Elizabeth but said, "You'll have to wait like everyone else. I cannot give you special treatment."

'There, that should send her away!' he thought to himself as he continued to watch Cera, but it didn't. Elizabeth continued to talk, "Why not? I thought I was special? I am a candidate to be your wife, am I not?" MinYue didn't say anything once again so she smiled, but in the next second MinYue picked up the glass she set down, swallowed it all in one go, turned on his heel, and headed downstairs.

Elizabeth was left standing there in confusion, so she moved to where he was standing before, and watched him ascend down the stairs, and to her surprise walk right up to a woman who was being pestered by Chen. He didn't say anything, but he grabbed the woman and dragged her out onto the dance floor, leaving Chen, May, Tyler, and Sampson speechless.
