Chapter 27

After supper they went down to Tyler's theater room, and decided to watch a scary movie. Cera sat on Tyler's left, while Sampson was on his right, and May was next to him. Halfway through the movie May jumped at the scene where the killer popped out of the background and stabbed the young girl. She wrapped her arms around Sampson's, and practically jumped into his lap. Sampson turned to her with a smile, and she blushed like no tomorrow, "S….Sorry."

He leaned towards her and whispered, "It's okay."

Tyler leaned to his left and whispered to Cera, "I think they are cute together."

Cera turned just in time to catch May's blushing face, and Sampson clinging to May's arm. Cera couldn't help but whisper back to Tyler, "They do. What about you? How's courting Ms. Xia going?"

Tyler's face dropped, "No matter what I do she only has eyes for MinYue Park!" he then remembered how Cera and MinYue had shared a kiss, "Sorry Cera."

Cera blushed after hearing him apologize. 'Why is he apologizing? It's not like I am dating MinYue! He just kissed me. I need to think about this more.'

After the movie ended both Tyler and Cera started to yawn. Tyler stood up and stretched his long arms "I think I am going to bed now. Cera, you can crash here if you want." Cera looked at him. 'He only has three bedrooms. Where would I sleep?' as if reading her mind Tyler adds in a low tone only she could hear, "I think these two will be sharing a room tonight."

"Ahhh, I see." Cera replied in a hushed tone, and stretched her arms as well. She turned to May and Sampson, "Good night you guys! See you in the morning!"

"Good night!" they both replied as Tyler and Cera headed upstairs. As soon as they were alone Sampson swooped May up, and carried her into the guest room that was on the lower level.

He carefully set her on the bed, then sat down next to her, "May, the reason I left Rine was because the woman I was in love with, fell in love with another man. I had to get away. I have been staying with Tyler for the past three weeks now. The first two weeks consisted of heavy drinking, and tears, but then Tyler dragged me to that party, and I met you. This last week with you has been amazing. You're so much fun, and carefree. You make my days better. May Lin, would you be my girlfriend?"

May's face was beet red, and she kept blinking. Her fluttering lashes caused Sampson to swallow back the saliva that was building up. She stopped blinking, and looked into his eyes slowly nodding, "Yes." Sampson was extremely happy, he pushed her onto the bed, and kissed her passionately.
