Chapter 21

She handed MinYue his cup, and then returned to her office without a word. They both had a lot of work to do. She started to plan out MinYue's schedule for the week, taking phone calls, and responding to several emails. She worked very efficiently, MinYue couldn't help but be in awe at 'His woman' who was working hard just for him.

He wanted to sit there and stare at her all day, but he had work to do. He wasn't the type to dilly-dally. So he got straight to work. He 'rewarded' himself from time to time by asking her to fetch him a new coffee, or to ask her opinion on something. When lunch time came, he asked her to go to the cafeteria on the 2nd floor, and get food for the both of them. She returned 20 minutes later with two styrofoam boxes. With the smell of curry filling his nose, he couldn't help but start to salivate. His stomach also let out a loud grumble as she placed one box in front of him. Cera noticed his ears turn a slight red, she couldn't help but laugh. MinYue looked up at her, "I didn't realize that I was this hungry. Sorry about my stomach."

Cera stopped laughing and smiled at him, "It's okay. Let's eat!" Instead of leaving for her desk she sat down on the couch, and opened her box of food. MinYue saw this, and immediately stood up with his box of food as well. He sat next to her, and opened up the box of curry, and began to dig in. He rather enjoyed this, just sitting quietly eating with her. He wanted it to be like this for the rest of his life.

While chewing he remembered that Daniel had called while she was getting the food, "Oh...by the way, the shooting for the commercial will be on Friday. He told me he was going to call the agency to inform your manager. I told him that I would tell you as well."

Cera looked up from her food, and met his messy face. He had curry around both sides of his lips. Without a word she picked up the napkin that was in-between them and wiped his face. MinYue was surprised by her sudden action, but he dared not to pull away. Cera didn't know why, but for some reason she felt that she needed to take care of this man. Not only as his assistant, but she felt like she needed to be there for him. She couldn't label it, but it felt right.

After she lowered her hand from his freshly shaven face, she went back to eating as if nothing happened. MinYue on the other hand froze. 'Why does she keep doing these kind of things? Does she like me too? Should I say something? Is it too soon?' He continued to sit like that until Cera spoke up, "It's going to get cold if you just sit there."

"Mmmh." he snapped out of his daze, and began to eat. He thought about making a mess again, but this time on purpose. 'Should I? I don't know. I may just appear sloppy to her then.' He tried his best to eat as neatly as possible for the remainder of their lunch break.

That night she went to her parents, and moved out some of her things. It was mostly clothes. And just like MinYue said, he arranged for movers to come help her. The only box they didn't pack were her undergarments. She wasn't about to let just any man see those. Her mother wasn't to thrilled about having her little girl move out on her own, but Cera comforted her, "Mom, it's bound to happen someday. I am already 21. I love you and dad very much, but I want to have my own place."

"You will visit every weekend? Right?"

"If I have time. I will still call, and talk to you everyday."

"Stay for dinner tonight?" Jamie asked her daughter while giving her a quick hug.

"Okay."

Wednesday and Thursday consisted of work, grocery shopping for her place, and getting lunch with MinYue. On Thursday she also texted May about her new boss, and her new place. May was excited, and even wanted to visit her on the weekend.
