45 Who is Arjun?

AUTHOR'S POV:

Yuvi was awestruck seeing Arjun there.

Arjun gave a loathsome grin seeing Yuvi's frowned and as well as shocked expression. But Yuvi recovered to his normal state very soon.

"Good Morning, Arjun!" Mr. Varma greeted him exuberantly!

"Good Morning, uncle!" He greeted him back and gave a hug.

Uncle? From where did this new uncle come from, huh?

" Good morning everyone, I am Arjun Varma who bought Mr. Sangeet Varma's share. By the way, he is my uncle!" He said and greeted all.

Everyone was in a struck moment none bothered to return his greeting until Yuvi, himself decided to break the struck moment.

" Good morning Arjun Dev Varma!" Yuvi pronounced his name with sarcasm dripping in each of his words.

YUVI'S POV:

Oh! My father in law. Pari is just like him now, I came to know from where she got to learn this speaking skils.

Like a father! Like a daughter!

I was annoyed by his behavior. What does he think?

Is some Conference or some park? He is laughing like a maniac.

But I felt something strange.

Totally strange!

When Arjun entered the room, I was a little shocked!

Little will be an understatement! I was shocked like hell.

Did he introduce himself as Varma?

Yes! He did.

What has gotten into him? I sighed at his foolishness again.

"Good Morning Arjun Dev Varma" Yes Dev is his surname from his father, they have their mother's surname in their name but they never used it, he used it now as a bribe to get the shares I know this. Varma's was proud to have these two as their children.

Whatever happened has happened!

I said to him to take a seat, Mr. Varma retired from the room.

" So, Mr. Arjun Dev you got the shares? Good!" I smirked, he frowned.

I know he is here in the name of irritating me, and I will never let that happen Arjun.

He is just a piece of cake in my path but that is until the twin knows this but still, he is fair but tricky when it comes to competition, not like Arjun.

" We are not taking MI Enterprises! That's final, anything more?"

After everyone said, "Nothing" uncle's secretary started showing the growth statistics.

He was quiet all through the meeting, it was unexpected I must say!

I thought he will do some scenarios but it's good he left me free.

Then after the presentation, we discussed the flat line of profit, it didn't increase much there were only point one or two percent of the increase in profit.

After some discussions, we ended the meeting. We arranged for refreshments so we went to the dining there and started to have them.

I was having my coffee, Sid was having his tea, uncle went and grabbed a table with him some friends who were board members too.

"Yuvi, what's with this Varma?" Sid asked sipping his tea I raised my eyebrows.

" I know man his surname is Dev, right? What is this Varma, now? I am totally confused!" He asked.

"It's his surname from his mother's side," I said, he just said an 'O'.

With this question, my thoughts drifted to Arjun and our relationship.

This is the first time Dev Industries are stepping into agro-based industries. I mean they have a good name in software and constructions.

They did not involve in any agro-based industries like textiles or food.

I don't know why!

Until uncle Ranveer Dev was handling business, their company was in the top 5, even we couldn't reach their position. But after him, he parted his business into three and gave it to his daughter and sons.

But both brothers decided to stay together and run their business. Uncle Ranveer Dev would be the most genuine person in the world but his sons turned out to be the opposite. His daughter was the same as my age we all did our schooling together.

My dad and uncle were great friends. In fact, he is the one who guided my father in business. But Arjun was always putty and his twin brother was totally opposite to him; he was a topper, clever, intelligent, and a fast learner.

Sometimes even I have envied him. He doesn't like the one pokes in others matter and of all he loves his twin brother a lot even more than his sister and parents. He will do whatever for Arjun but Arjun always uses his true love.

Arjun is a party type guy whereas he is a silent one. He will not speak or enjoy with us he was always lone. I don't know why?!

His sister is a sweet creature but a clever one. She is an intelligent one, she is now residing in Landon, with Ranveer uncle for somedays. When uncle Ranveer asked her to marry she said she is not interested uncle didn't force her.

Ranveer, uncle's wife passed when the twins were in their primary school after that both brothers stayed more often in their granny's house Mrs. Varma ( Mother's mum) whereas his sister hated to go there.

Again that was a mystery. Their family is always a great mystery. Now Arjun's brother went to Landon, they are supposed to return by this month-end.

If he returns back I will be free of Arjun's stupidity, his brother is really a good competitor to win.

My thoughts were interrupted by the devil himself.

"Hello, the great wife's husband!" He mocked.

"Speak of the devil!" Sid muttered under breath.

"Hey, Mr. Lecturer long time no see! how are you, dude?" He asked patting Sid's shoulder.

" I am good, how about you, Mr. Player?" Sid winked.

"You know how I am! Always happy!" He said laughing.

" Where is your ever serious twin?" He asked playfully.

"He is currently in London. He will return soon by this month-end with our dad and sister" He said.

"Oh! But why suddenly jumped into textiles? Any specific reason?" He asked like he didn't know anything. I kept quiet.

Arjun looked me through his corner of his without turning his head.

"Your friend didn't say anything?" Now he turned towards me.

"Nope, he didn't say anything. Yuvi know about this?"

Actor! He should get nominated for this Oscar award for this edition.

Even before I think of answering him Arjun interrupted him.

"Wait, I will say it myself"

"Okay!"

"Actually we planned to enter the textiles the last year even but, you know dad was not well so I decided to start it this year. As I don't want to be a competitor to Yuvi I planned to buy shares here" He smiled at me.

I just maintained a neutral face.

"Oh! That's good to hear" He said and sipped his tea.

"But Mr. Lecturer what are you doing here? And I heard that you are getting married, is that true?" He was talking with Sid enthusiastically.

And point to be noted here is, he has never shown a great interest in conversing with Sid, and today something happened. I shrugged mentally.

"Sid, I have some work, I have to finalize the designs. So,"

"Yeah, I am coming. Arj-" His face was pale now, yeah! I intentionally picked the topic.

" Arjun are you okay?" Sid asked controlling his laughter.

"Yeah, I am absolutely fine. I am just late to an important meeting" He tried managing his crisp voice.

"Uh! Okay then, see you soon!" Sid gave him a hug.

"Yeah, see you soon Arjun Dev Varma!" I hugged him with a smirk.

He gritted his teeth.

Then we went near our uncle, he introduced us to some of his friends. After about 15 minutes we bid them bye and started down to the parking area.

As soon as we entered the basement we searched if any other people are there, none was there.

We both burst into laughter, we both laughed like there is no tomorrow.

"You should see his face. HA HA HA HA! "

" At last he stood like a kid who got caught for stealing the ice cream" Sid laughed.

" And you. Should be nominated for Oscar awards, what an acting as if you don't know anything" We again burst into laughter.

"That little brat! He doesn't want to compete with you it seems. Joke of the year; rather than saying he and you, he should have said his brother and you!"

"Yeah! There is his father's fault too, he was good at dance. He was his university representative, you know?"

" Yeah! I remember when we went to the cultural fest I have seen his dance. He was good!"

"Yeah! But uncle forced him to study Business. That made him more furious and also his friends' circle was not good."

"Yeah! But his brother was also with him, right? But he is good?"

"Yeah, that was because he was not into friendship and that college gangs. Arjun never listened to his brother. Whereas his brother did everything this idiot wanted!"

"Whatever we are nobody to judge him! You are going to hospital right?"

"Yes"

"Okay then, I will join you. I came with uncle this morning, so now I don't have ride back"

" Why do have to feel when the great driver of world and his car is waiting for, my lord!"

I chuckled at his drama and hopped in the car.

They didn't notice the pair of eyes that was watching them!
