Prologue

I awoke to a series of knocks on my bedroom door. Annoyed I got up and opened it

"What?!" I sighed angrily

The sweetness of my sleep is a nuisance

"Good morning! Take a bath and get dressed quickly!" My friend Bella said cheerfully

"And why? Where are we going ?!" I asked angrily

"Just hurry up!"

"Where?"

"You will like it. I'm sure" She giggled softly "Go ahead hurry up I'll eat at the Kitchen first your mom has already cooked breakfast"

"Bella" I called

But she quickly ran down the stairs

What else can on the mind of that woman is annoying ugh!

I just took a shower and got dressed I just wore white crop top and denim shorts partnered with white sneakers.

I also put on a bit of make up and grabbed my Louis Vuitton bag and went downstairs.

"Oh Skye eat first" Mom said

I saw Bella already sitting on the sofa and busy talking to someone on her phone.

She looks very excited

I sat down and started eating

After breakfast Bella and I said goodbye to my Mom and Bella hurriedly took me to her car.

As I sat in the passenger seat I looked at Bella who was already smiling as she drove away

"Are you having fun?" I asked with a raised eyebrow

"Yes I am" she said happily

"Where are we going?" I asked in astonishment

"Secretly cruel Haha!"

I rolled my eyes and sighed

After a few hours drive I could see beach resorts every time we passed

I was not familiar with the place we were going to. I just got here.

Bella soon stopped the car at a beach resort that obviously only the wealthy could afford to go

She hurriedly get off the car and opened the door for me she quickly pulled me down.

"Let's go" she said hurriedly

Wow

I was amazed as I roamed around across that beach resort. While Bella was busy talking at the reception

After she was there she pulled me closer to the sea again

"Oh just wait here okay? Don't you dare leave" she said

"Where are you going?" I asked

But she was in a hurry to leave and I was left here

What's going on?

She's acting weird now.

I was only there that I saw the table for two lying on the sand with food prepared there and wines.

I even roamed around and saw lanterns hanging from the trees and ocean.

I walked further and saw small candles surrounding the sand and scattered rose petals.

My heart starting to beat faster and there's something forming in my mind I just chose to ignore it and continued to roamed around the beach

I saw a small bottle next to the scattered rose petals in the sand, I picked it up and was surprised to see that there was a roll of paper inside.

I opened the lid of the bottle and took the paper inside, I read what was written there.

'Follow the scattered rose petals'

My forehead furrowed after reading what was written there. Those rose petals did have a direction and even though I was wondering, I still followed what was written on that paper because I was curious.

I walked further and soon I saw heart-shaped rose petals and candles around it.

I approached there and my eyes widened while staring at it and read what was written on the sand

Will you marry me?

I was surprised but there was not even one person in that area.

I don't know how I feel anymore, my heart beat faster. I don't want to think that the man who did it I can't avoid, even though a long time ago he was still there in my mind and in my...heart.

That he thought, he hadn’t been deceived me and hurt me before.

And if I lost everything

In my heart it means nothing

The day when I say

I heard someone singing and I looked behind me where that voice came from.

I was shocked to see the man kneeling there... holding a ring.

My tears flowed one after another. Can't believe what I'm seeing now

"Will you marry me?" he said tearfully "You are my favorite place to go when my mind searches for peace you are my sky .... Please say yes" he added passionately.
