4 So near yet so far

Qinyang arrived at the supermarket quite late. She quickly made her way to get all that she needed for her sukiyaki. She scrolled through the meat section to look for her favorite sukiyaki beef brand.

'Hmm... What should I get? The strips or tendons?'

Her greedy heart told her to take two and she did.

Meanwhile, a man not far away from her entered the supermarket a few minutes after Qinyang.

Fengyuan looked around to see what he should buy for the starving wolf. He didn't want to cook for him because he's lazy so he decided to just get him some frozen pizza.

As she turned around to head to the cashier, she noticed a man standing at the precooked food section for a long time. The carefree and bright presence was hard to ignore when he walked in after her earlier. Out of curiosity, she walked towards the man and saw that he was having a hard time trying to choose between Hawaiian Chicken and Triple Cheese.

Qinyang's presence came out of nowhere surprising the man on the spot. She smiled and pointed at the box on the left. "This one tastes better. It was released a few months ago and it tastes better than the triple cheese one."

As the woman spoke, her vanilla scent wafted around his nose. Looking at the woman whose skin was as white as a swan with eyes as beautiful as the ocean, he thought he was seeing a pure angel with her hair draping over her shoulder. 'She is beauty…'

Fengyuan grabbed the box on the left as he bowed and joked to her as gratitude. "Thank you. If not, I will be stuck here 'till tomorrow without a box of pizza."

Qinyang chuckled, "No problem."

Her smile struck the man's heart.

Qinyang observed the man, he had a suit on. Assuming he came from work, Qinyang told the man,

"Sir, even though it is late at night. You shouldn't eat unhealthy food."

'She must be a goddess. I must ask her name.'

But before he could do it, a sudden announcement from the speaker sounded, "Dear customers, the store will close in 10 minutes. Please make your way to the nearest counter to make your purchase. Thank you."

"Oh no! I haven't grabbed the cabbage yet. Goodbye, nice talking to you," Qinyang said as she rushed off to the vegetable section.

Watching her beautiful figure disappear from his vision, Fengyuan sighed for he forgot to ask the goddess name.

The car door opened and Fengyuan plopped down the car seat. Without looking, he could sense someone was being irritated by his side. The car temperature dropped not because of the air conditioner, but because of the cold aura, the other person gave off. Junting was glaring at him for being so slow.

Fengyuan faked a laugh, "I didn't know what to pick," and looked at the rear mirror to signal Driver Chen to start moving. Feng Yuan tried to calm the icy wolf down, "I manage to pick a good pizza. A woman recommended it and damn she is so pretty! Like a goddess! I didn't manage to ask her name though..."

Junting wasn't listening to this man's nonsense because he wasn't in the mood. He was staring out of the window, without knowing his eyes were fixated on the supermarket's entrance door.

A woman walked out carrying her groceries. Lee Jun Ting stared at the woman for a while, 'She looks familiar... Like her.. Impossible... I looked for 7 years to find her.' Squinting his eyes for a clearer view, the temperature in the car warmed up and the glass became foggy as he thought of her. The car started moving and the figure of the woman became blurry.

Fengyuan heaved a sigh of relief and tried to peek at the man beside him. Fengyuan noticed Junting was distracted and asked, "Is there something interesting outside?"

Junting closed his eyes and said, "Nothing," as thoughts of the woman he has been looking for appeared in his mind again.
