"When the rain started, I asked Gary to look for you but he did not find you and found Master Joseph and Miss Donna by the cottage instead. Master Joseph said that you were already heading home, he asked me to prepare a towel for you and a hot bath" explained Adela.

She looked at Joseph who was casually sitting on one of the haystacks, drying his hair.

So that was why he was there ahead of her. He was expecting her already and did not even bother to go back for her or send someone to fetch her. He is such a bastard.

If stares could kill, Joseph should have been dead by now. He may have felt her dagger stares because he lifted his head and looked at her, his eyes have deep emotions. He suddenly smiled sweetly, showing off his perfect set of white teeth and she finds it weird. He must be a lunatic, one moment he is like someone who hates the world and one moment he is smiling. She was about to smile back when...

"Hi babe, thanks for lending me your shirt", came from the voice behind her and she doesn't have to turn around to see who it was.

Her face turned sour and it did not escape Joseph's eyes, he smiled inwardly. Donna walked passed by her. She was wearing a white shirt that Joseph gave her. It was big enough to cover past her shirt. Donna was just of the same height as her but since she is wearing high heels, she looked taller than her. She walked like a demurely towards Joseph and Joseph offered her a seat.

She felt a tug in her heart but she never showed it. She found herself in an awkward situation and Joseph was looking at her while Donna was like a snake wrapping her hands around his waist.

"Aherm, I have to get going now, excuse me", she said and headed the back door of the villa. The rain was still pouring so hard and she was already shivering.

"Let me help you, wait for me", Adela said following her inside. She walked fast to get to the door, she wants to vanish into thin air at that moment. She climbed the stairs to get to her room.

"What did you do now?'' Celine said sternly who was sitting in the living room reading a magazine.

"You really can't behave when around men, do you? Slut", said Celine without looking at her.

She bit her lips to prevent from talking back and just went up to the stairs hurriedly. She ran towards her room and into the shower with Adela following her but the door to the bathroom was already closed and it was locked from the inside. Adela sighed and decided to prepare her clothes and she then went out to prepare something to warm her up.

Christine took a hot shower quickly and when she went out of the bathroom she saw that there are already clothes prepared for her on her bed, a pair of gray jogging pants and a white long sleeved shirt with buttons in the front. She changed into them and dried her hair. She felt cold so she went under the quilt to warm her up.

At the barn, the moment Christine disappeared into the mansion, Joseph removed Donna's snake-like arms around his waist. Something that made Celine smile, she was looking at them in one of the windows facing the barn. She was there the moment Joseph and Donna arrived. Donna was riding with Gary in a horse while Joseph was on another horse. She was everything that happened. Joseph tried to send Donna home but she insisted to stay but she was soaking wet so Joseph gave her a shirt to change into.

A few minutes after while Danna was changing in the comfort room in the kitchen, Christine arrived soaking wet and because of that her shirt became transparent and it hugged her body tightly showing her curves. She just kept on observing them, her eyes burning in anger especially when Joseph stared at Christine like he was completely mesmerized. She clenched her fists tightly that her nails are already digging her palms. She hurriedly picked a magazine and sat on the sofa near the stairs and away from the window when she saw that Christine was already going in. When Christine passed by, she did not hide her disgust toward her and she will do everything to drive her away. She went back to the side of the window when Christine was already upstairs.

"Gary, take Donna to home it is getting late and the rain won't be stopping any moment", he said to Gary who was just behind the door of the barn.

"But babe, what happened? I thought you wanted me to stay for tonight?'' Donna protested and said seductively put her hands around his neck. She was a bit confused. Joseph gave in already, kissed her and they practically like having sex already when they were in the barn. But he suddenly went cold and drove her away. If it was not raining, she might have been sent home already and she did not want to go home. She wants Joseph to continue what he was doing earlier.

"It is getting late Donna, don't be stubborn, your dad should already be looking for you", Joseph took her hands off his neck and distanced himself from her. He gave the key of his pickup to Gary.

"Take her home and come back right away, we have things to do," he said to Gary and went inside the mansion.

Donna stomped her feet like a child, "Joseph, why are you doing this me, what was that in the cottage?'' she grabbed his arm and tried to hug him, pushing her body against him.

Joseph sighed and carefully remove her arms around him. He shook her a little when she was not willing to let go of him.

"That was nothing, I just gave you what you wanted and that was all, now go home before I lose my temper," he said sternly that made Donna shiver in fear. 'He is now back to his normal self,' what just happened' Donna thought to herself.

Joseph signaled Gary to go and take Donna with him before he disappeared into the mansion. The bottom part of his jeans are wet and he started to feel cold so he hurriedly climbed the stairs to his room to get a warm shower and change. He did not notice Celine who was sitting on a sofa near the stairs.

Just as he was about to go inside his room, he saw Adela hurriedly went out of Christine's room. He stared at the back of Adela going down the hall and downstairs, his brows knitted.
