6 I’m sorry baby but I don’t take left-overs

She took her passport and some important documents. She has no more pieces of jewelry or cash left. She laughs at herself. Then there she saw a brown envelope. It has her name on it and it was dated 5 years ago. She has not opened it knowing that it came from D City. She took it out and put it in her suitcase. She will have to deal with it later.

She looked at her room one last time. She will surely miss her room and her bed. She made sure that she's got everything in. She looked at her face in the mirror to make sure that everything is ok. Satisfied, she took her suitcase and went out of my room. Joseph was there.

"I'm ready", she said and walked past him.

Joseph followed her and took the suitcase from her.

"Is this all you need?", he asked.

"I guess, I won't be there for too long anyway and you would have to send me back after a while", she replied, she did not hide the sarcasm.

His eyes became dim and stared at me. She stared back at him, challenging him. He smirked and walked toward his car.

After putting her suitcase in the car, he opened the door for her. She looked at the house one last time. She has so many memories in this house. The house that her father bought for them when her mom got sick. It is where her dad started to build their future after her mom passed away. Then, she went inside the passenger side. He turned around and went into the driver's seat.

Joseph was silent while driving. It is the same him except that he has gone sexier. She blushed at her thought. Why would she suddenly see him as sexy? And sexier? Gosh, what is wrong with her? It is not the first time that she felt this sensation whenever he is around.

There was this incident that happened just a few weeks after they moved to their mansion. She could not forget how mad he was when the horse she was riding suddenly went mad and ran aimlessly toward the forested area of their domain. If not for Joseph, she would have fallen from the rogue horse and who knows what else could have happened.

She was so scared that she screamed at the top of her lungs. It was her first time to ride a horse and Jolo taught her all the basics of how to ride a horse. They were all set but maybe because the horse felt her fear and uncertainty and was not familiar with her, it got confused and became restless.

Joseph together with Gary, the caretaker, immediately came to rescue. He was riding Poseidon, his favorite stallion who was galloping so fast trying to catch up with her and when she was already within his reach, he held her by the waist and lifted her. He then settled her in front of him while he instructed the caretaker to follow the rogue horse. She was so shocked with what happened, her body trembled. She closed her eyes. He slowed down the horse and eventually stopped.

She did not know that she was holding her breath. After realizing that she was already out of danger, she released her breath and she started to calm down however her heart started to go wild. She could feel his hard chest rising and falling against her back and strong muscles at her sides as if he was hugging her. He had the horse walk gently back to the stable which made the friction between their bodies ignite the fire inside her.

She can feel the heat spread to her whole body. It's a different feeling and she could not help but sigh. Her face is like burning and that burning sensation spreads down her body to the center of her being. She felt a sudden throb in between her legs.

"Ahhh", a groan escaped her mouth which made her eyes go wide in shock. She thinks she was more shocked to this than what had happened earlier. She closed her eyes to hide her embarrassment even though he could not see me.

"Enjoying so far?", he sensually whispered in her left ear. His warm breath fanning the side of her face. Her eyes opened in shock. He felt it. This is so humiliating, she thought to herself. She cursed and scolded herself so many times.

"Could not have a better plan to seduce me?", he asked as he planted a light kiss on her nape and then my shoulders.

"I'm sorry baby, but I don't take leftovers", he continued and he let the horse run faster.

She felt like a pail of cold water was poured over her upon hearing what he said. She was about to ask what he meant but she lost it due to the sudden movement of the horse. She closed her eyes and just focused on holding on to the saddle to avoid herself from falling.

When they got to the barn, Gary, Jolo and the other farm workers were already outside waiting for them.

"She's already inside boss, still a little bit restless", Gary, referring to the horse, reported to Joseph with a worried look in his eyes.

A small "hmm" was heard from Joseph.

She can see Jolo's worried look so she gave him an assuring smile which made him feel relaxed.

"Easy to change flavors, huh", he scoffed before getting off Poseidon. He then asked Gary to help her get off the horse. Before she knew, he was already gone inside the barn where Sky is. Sky is the name of the horse that had gone rogue.

Jolo went to her side immediately. "Are you ok? Were you hurt?", he asked and touched her head, her face, her arms and made her turn around.

She laughed at him. "I'm alright", she said and held his hands.

"Gosh, I was so scared. Sky is very friendly that is why I chose him for you. I don't know what made him act that way", Jolo explained, feeling sorry for what happened.

"You don't need to worry, I'm alright and that is what's important now", she assured him and patted him at the back.

Little did she know that someone manipulated the horse before they got there and that someone was furious at the moment since the plan failed.

She felt a pair of eyes at her back but when she turned to see who it was, there was no one around. Gary and the rest of the boys went to help Joseph inside the barn while Christine and Jolo are outside. She shook the idea of someone trying to harm her aside.

From that time on she never tried to ride a horse again and she learned that Joseph sold the horse. She tried to ask why but Jolo had no idea. He was also told not to allow her to go near a horse without Gary or Joseph.
