***end of flashback***

"urhmm" she heard him clear his throat and it brought her back to the present.

"we are here", he said and he opened the door of the car and went out immediately. She was still in awe, still trying to adjust her mind back to what is going on. She breathed deeply, trying to calm herself down. They are already at the airport. Since it was already past eight in the evening, there were only a few people in the departure area. She can see Joseph already passed through the inspection and was already inside.

"hahhhh", she let out a sigh, to clear her mind.

"knock, knock", she heard the knock on the car's door and it was opened for her.

"thank you", she said as she went out of the car. The person who opened the door for her was his assistant. She has seen him several times before when she was still in D City and she can remember Joseph calling him Albert but everyone on the farm call him Mr. Albert. He has been with the family since he was a teenager and he is very loyal to them. He is a few years older than Joseph. He looked casual with his white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and black pants and black shoes as well. She smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Good evening, Miss Christine", he politely said and gestured her to go inside the departure area.

"thank you", she said and silently walked towards the entrance. He took hers and Joseph's luggage from the back of the car and she can see that he was talking to someone, giving instructions then he followed me at the entrance while the person he was talking to drove the car out of the airport.

"here you go", he said as he put our luggage in the x-ray machine.

She also put her hand carry bag on the machine and went through the inspection. After the inspection, she took her bag while Mr. Albert took her luggage and they proceed to the departure area. They saw Joseph was already waiting for them. They walked towards their assigned gate. Mr. Albert quickly caught up with Joseph and they were already talking about business while she was following them from behind. Mr. Albert would regularly turn to look at her, making sure she is following them.

She silently followed them while looking at the back of Joseph. His broad shoulders were accentuated by the blue shirt he is wearing. He is a few inches taller than Mr. Albert. Although both of them have a good physique, Joseph has a very strong aura, very manly and would turn heads wherever he goes. Blue is her favorite color and his favorite color as well as she can remember him wearing blue almost every day.

'ahhhh, memories please stop, now is not the time', she painfully scolded herself and she said it aloud as Mr. Albert and Joseph stopped walking and turned to look at her with a puzzled look in their eyes.

She just shrugged her shoulder and asked: "what?"

"do you need something, Miss Christine?" , Mr. Albert asked with concern in his eyes.

"what is it?", Joseph asked seriously and intently looked into her eyes as if trying to look deep into her soul.

To hide her embarrassment, she smiled at them. "I was only rehearsing a line from my commercial", she said nonchalantly and look at them especially Joseph who looked annoyed.

"You don't have to do that anymore", he said straightforwardly and with a warning in his eyes before he turned around and continued to walk.

Mr. Albert smiled at me and continued to walk as well. She let out a sigh, shrugged her shoulders and continued to follow them.

A chartered plane was already waiting for them at the assigned gate. The pilot was already waiting and there were two airport crews who checked their gate passes and luggage before they were allowed to board the chartered plane.

'so this is what money can do", she talked to herself as she boarded the plane. It was not as big as the commercial plane but it is comfortable. There was a long white couch on the right side and two single couches facing each other on the left, a center table and a mini bar at the right corner with some wines displayed. There is also a small cubicle in front of the mini bar which looks like a private room and another cubicle which would be the comfort room. The interior is mainly white with beige accents, very classy. The inside of the plane would be very comfortable for 3-5 persons.

Joseph was already sitting on the long couch and looking at his cellphone. She sits on the single couch on the opposite side. Mr Albert followed inside, holding a laptop. He went directly to Joseph and gave him the laptop before sitting down next to him.

Joseph without even looking at her started to work on his laptop. She can hear him typing.

"hmmm'', Joseph as he was looking seriously at the screen of his laptop like he doesn't care about his surrounding. He may have forgotten that she existed which was good for her so she can finally relax and do some thinking on what to do once she gets to D City.

The captain went out of the cockpit and welcomed them. He was around 40-45 years old and seemed to be smiling all the time. He introduced himself as Marlon Cuenca, has been a pilot for 20 years. He also introduced the flight stewardess Anna who politely smiled. She then showed them where to find the life jackets, the emergency exits, and all the emergency procedures. She then went to show them the mini bar, the private room, and the comfort room and other amenities. After the routinary procedures, Captain Cuenca went back to the cockpit while Anna went to the small kitchen at the far end which was hidden by a beige curtain. They heard the captain speaking in the speaker declaring that they were already taking off and that it would take 3 hours and 15 minutes for them to get to their destination.

She was just silent the whole time, observing and from time to time steal glances at Joseph. He was so focused on his laptop and he only looked up once at the captain to acknowledge him and his attention was back to his laptop again.
