Some rice stuck on the corner of Edie's mouth. Stuart wiped them away with his fingers and put them into his own mouth.

"Mom, watch out on the way," Edie said,

Bette nodded. She held Edie into her arms gently, and said in a soft voice, "Edie, I now leave him to you. You can punish him whenever you want. If he dared to hurt you, tell me immediately. I would break his leg."

She sounded really soft at the beginning, and the voice turned serious all of a sudden.

Edie burst into laughter, "Don't worry. If he dares to hurt me, I will break his leg immediately."
