2 《The present》

Maxx's Pov:

I'm standing outside the school. I went to Ford International School, which is one of the most well-known schools in the Philippines.' Many people want to come here to study. However, in their lives, tuition is more expensive. I'm only here because of a scholarship I was awarded.

"Good morning, Mr. Carl," I said. I'm passing by. He replied, "Good morning, you're too early ha." "As usual," I replied. Then we both burst out laughing.

As I enter the building, I notice that there are already some students on campus. I've slowed my pace and am enjoying the cool breeze, which makes me feel better.

And then, all of a sudden, I heard something that piqued my interest.

"Have you heard about it? Ryle's younger brother will be studying here "the first woman stated.

"Yes, I was aware of that. Isn't he from another country?" The second lady responded.

What the hell is going on here? I had no idea Ryle had a sibling. I listened in on their conversation even more intently. Ryle Sevellio is the most well-known at school because many girls adore him, including myself.

"I'm sure he's just like Ryle, and he's probably quite attractive as well. Except for Maxx, there is no one in this school who is ugly." I could even hear them giggling.

When I heard that, I immediately came to a halt and gave them a stern look.

"On that note, let's go, ladies." They laughed at me before leaving.

"I know I'm not as attractive as you are! But my heart is in good shape!! Y'all are a bunch of hypocrites!!" Despite the fact that they couldn't hear me, I yelled at them. I began walking towards the class A building when I felt someone staring at me, so I turned around and looked to the other side, where I saw a man staring back at me. I raised an eyebrow at him and gave him a strange look, and when he realized I was looking, he quickly averted his gaze and walked away.

"He's so strange, but he's so handsome huh."

I continued walking until I arrived at the class A building.

Because many famous businessmen, heirs, and influencers study here, the Class A building is one of the most well-known buildings in the school. As a result, they constructed their structure, and non-class A individuals are not permitted to enter. One of the benefits I received, aside from the scholarship, was the ability to enter this building. Yes, I went to school in this building! So many Ford School students are furious with me because they believe I don't deserve to be in this building.

I put my class A I.D. in the class A machine to gain access, and when it opened, I went inside right away. To find the class A-10 room, I went to the third floor. I was about to walk away when my name was suddenly called.

"Maxx, Maxx!,"

I turned around to see who it was

it's Vyrie, She's my friend at this school, and she was the calm in my storm. Vyrie is one of the wealthiest students at school, and she's also very nice and attractive. I didn't expect her to be my friend in the first place. I'm extremely fortunate to have her.

"Maxx Did you know-- "

When I abruptly spoke, I didn't complete what she was about to say. "If you're going to say Ryle's brother is going to school here, That was something I was already aware of ", I laughed after that. "I was ecstatic to hear you say that," she said, "but...you already knew huhuhu." "All right, hahaha, how about we go in?" She nodded after that. We continued to converse until we arrived in our respective rooms. We were about to walk in when we heard a shriek from the other room, which drew our immediate attention.

"I LOVE YOU KLENTT!!"

"UR'E SO HOOOT KLENT FORD!!!"

Because Klent is the son of the school's owner, it's no surprise that many students admire him. When I saw them both, my surroundings stopped. Then my heart starts to beat faster. Their good looks are so lethal.

"Get out of here," Ryle said coldly.

"H-ha?" I'm perplexed. Damn his voice!

"You're blocking the door," he says, his face expressionless. After Vyrie kicked me, I realized I was blocking the door.

"S-sorry," I was embarrassed to take a step back. I exhaled a sigh of relief as soon as they walked in. When I saw Vyrie laughing, I motioned for her to enter the room. In class A, we each have our own chair, and each table is labeled with our name. Vyrie and I, of course, sat in the same spot.

"How come my table isn't labeled with my name?" I put down my belongings and turned to Vyrie's table. Yes, her name isn't on the table anymore, but why? "Perhaps your name was taken away and replaced with a new one?" I responded. As I said, he nodded in agreement. Then I went back to reorganizing my belongings.

When Kate walks up to me, I'm about to put an earphone in my ear. "Yes, Kate, why?" I inquired. " Maxx, could you please do me a favor? She looks to be in desperate need of assistance. I responded, "What is it?" "I would have returned these books to the library, but my feet are still swollen and making it difficult for me to walk." She expressed herself shyly. I asked, "Do you want me to put that in the library?"

"Are you able to?" She pleaded. "I don't know who else to approach except you," she added. "Of course, I'll put those books in the library just give it to me." With a smile on my face, I said.

"Thank you, and I apologize for the inconvenience," she said, a broad smile on her face. Kate finally left after I replied, "It's nothing." Before I stood up, I glanced over at Vyrie, who was engrossed in a book. Vyrie noticed I was standing and asked, "Where are you going?"

"I'll return these books to the library." I responded.

"I'll accompany you," says the narrator. She stated her case. I'm still not convinced, but... He yanked me from the door.

We were about to descend the stairs when someone called Vyrie out of nowhere.

It was Terio .

"Vyrie! Vyrie! Vyrie!"

As a result, we turned to him. Vyrie asked, "Terio? ahm, why?"

He exclaimed, "It's good that you thought of looking at me."

Vyrie responded, "Why did you call me?"

"Maam Vein is looking for you; she told you to go to room A-7 in class."

"But why now?"

"I'm not sure either; okay, I'll leave now."

"Hey! Wait! hey!"

Vyrie was now staring at me when Terio finally left. "It it seems I won't be escorting you any longer." She expressed her thoughts. I whispered, "I never forced you to come with me."

"What exactly are you talking about? "She came up with the question. "Nothing. Now is the time to go to Ma'am Vein." I responded.

"OK, hurry up or you'll be caught by Ma'am Vein," she said. And when Vyrie finally left, I dashed out of the building.

I walked through Ford's headquarters. In contrast to class A buildings, this is a building for the normally wealthy. I'll be able to get to the library faster if I pass through here. I looked for the main entrance as soon as I entered the Ford building. I'm going to the Ford store, which has a Ford library in the back. I left the building when I arrived at the main entrance.

Because there were so many students outside, I immediately bowed. You are aware that I am well-known in this town...

People in this town despise me, so I'm famous. I hurriedly walked until I was still bowed over.

"BAAAAAAAG"

The force of the hit knocked me down, along with the books.

"Are you all right, Miss?" the voice of a man.

Because my vision is still blurry, I can't see much of his face. And when I stood up, I turned to face him. He doesn't to seem to be one of the bullies here; perhaps he's a newcomer.

"Do I appear to be in good shape in this situation?" Because it hurt, I touched my waist. I took up the books that had fallen to the ground. He also assisted me in picking it up.

"You're not paying attention to the road." The books he had picked up were then handed to me.

"Excuse me, but you're also not looking at the road; if you were, you would have seen that we were going to collide."

He said timidly, "I-I'm looking for my classroom." He went on to say, "It's your fault you just bowed."

I whispered, "You know I was bowed over, you should have avoided me."

"W-what?"

I whispered again, "Nothing!. You look handsome, but you're deaf."

"Did you say anything?" he demanded angrily.

I had stopped paying attention to him and was about to walk away when he abruptly touched my shoulder.

"Wait a minute," he said as I was about to walk away.

"W-what?" I mumbled.

"Have we ever met?" " he inquired.

When he asked me a question, I suddenly frowned.

I studied his face closely, and he appeared to be someone I'd seen before, so I wondered where I'd seen him. No way... I stared at his face when I suddenly remembered something...

"W-what are you looking at?" When he noticed me staring at him, he asked nervously.

"Are you the one who was staring at me earlier?" I asked

"Perhaps you're wrong, but why should I stare at you? tsk"

Maybe I'm mistaken. Why would he stare at me, he's right? Should I kill myself now that I'm embarrassed? "I'm sorry, but I don't have time. I have to leave." I make an excuse to get rid of the embarrassment.

"Wait!" He shouted.

"What now!? I replied.

"I'll just ask, where is class A--buil...

* ring * ring * ring * ring*

When my phone abruptly rang, I never heard what he was going to say. It had been vyrie.

"Yes, Vyrie, what—"

"Maxx, where are you now?" Please return to the room as soon as possible. Ma'am Bein is on her way. She had just finished speaking with the dean." At the sound of Vyrie's voice, I yanked the phone away from my ear. Shit! The books have yet to be returned to the library. I replied to Vyrie, "I'll be there in a few minutes."

I hung up the phone and turned to face the man who was currently staring at me.

"Hey, look, you have two eyes and two feet to find what you are looking for."

I didn't wait to hear what he had to say; I took off running. I went to the library right away because it was close by. I quickly left after placing the books.

I entered the main entrance of the Ford building, as I had done previously, so that I could quickly return to the class A building. I was sweating profusely as I inserted my class A identification card into the machine, and when it opened, I walked right in. I took the elevator to speed up my return. Ma'am's Vein does not want students outside the classroom while she's in the class. So if she caught me, I'd be dead.

Thankfully, ma'am's Vein was not in the room when I walked in. So I went to my seat, only to discover that Vyrie had vanished, along with her belongings. "Maxx, psh!" When I was called, I turned to my right side. What is she doing in there? Vyrie approached me a little closer. "What are you doing there?" It was the chair in which she sat that I was referring to. "Ma'am moved me and I'm sorry; I'm not sure why." she retorted "It's all right." Maybe— when the door unexpectedly opened, I couldn't finish what I was about to say. Vryie returned to her new seat because it was ma'am Vein.

"Class, class, class, listen up,"

Ma'am said abruptly, filling the room with silence. "I just wanted to let you know that you will have three new classmates." Ma'am Vein's announcement has gotten my classmates' attention. They're making a racket again, whispering here, whispering there, blah blah blah.

"I wonder who they are"

"It's been 1 year since we have new classmates"

"Omg for sure its Ryle's brother"

"Silence in the classroom!"

When Ma'am's vein shouted, everyone stopped talking. Ma'am walked over to the door and pushed it open. Maybe she's referring to the new students when she says "you can now enter."

A tall, white, and attractive man walked in. And a lovely white woman. I heard screams from my classmates.

"OMG!"

"WIIIITWIIIIW"

The third person who came in astounded me. "What the hell is he doing here?" I abruptly stated. He's was the man earlier. When he walked in, the noise was louder.

"WHO IS HE?"

"HE LOOKS FAMILLIAR"

"Okay class, quiet now. Come on and introduce yourselves guys" she said to the new students.

"My name is Kib Alfonso, I'm 17 years old, and all I do is read books," the first man explained.

Ma'am even pointed out where it was, "sit next to Janella" Kib agreed with a nod.

"Goodmorning, Seri Fawcett is my name, and I'm 17 years old. This is my first time transferring to a new school, and I hope you will treat me well."

She has an angelic appearance and a sweet voice that I'm sure will appeal to a wide range of people.

"All right, sit next to Sabrina," Ma'am said again, and Seri followed suit.

It's time for him to introduce himself now that the long wait is over. I'm talking about the gentleman I mentioned earlier. Our gazes met as I looked at him.

Wtf.

"My name is Renz Sevellio"

Sevellio? so he is Ryle's brother? No way!!

"OMG I KNEW IT"

"GOD SO IT MEANS HE IS RYLE'S BROTHER?"

"THAT'S WHY HE IS SO FAMILIAR TO ME"

"OUR SECTION IS SO BLESSED"

"Sit next to Maxx," Ma'am Vein said, and I realized Vyrie was no longer seated in her old seat, which was now vacant.

I'm no longer alive.....

Renz's Pov:

"My name is Renz Sevellio," I say as an introduction. "I'm also 17 years old." When I said my name, I heard their noises. "That's everything you need to know about me." I fixed my gaze on my brother. His face is expressionless.

"Take a seat next to Maxx. " I don't know her name yet, but I'm familiar with the person she's referring to. I could see the surprise on her face because she was the first person I saw when I walked into the school.

My brother said he had to go somewhere first and left me here in front of the school gate. I was walking when I heard the noise of a woman. "I know I'm not as attractive as you! My heart, on the other hand, is in good shape!! Y'all are hypocrites! ".. I turned to see who she was conversing with. However, no one is present. Is she insane? She became aware that I was staring at her. As a result, I immediately averted my gaze.

"What a crazy woman I met for the first time today."

"Can I take a seat here?" Why am I inquiring? of course, I'm free to sit here if I want.

She replied, "O-of course."

"New students are warmly welcomed. I'm Vein Andres, and I'll be your adviser for Class A-10. I'm delighted to meet you "..

"Ahm I-I'm sorry for my earlier bad attitude"

"With a smile on my face, I replied, "It's fine."

Renz is my name, by the way "I extended my hand to her.

"Maxx, my name is Maxx valiente," she said as she took my hand in hers.
