11 College Life (Part 2) *Michelle*

I'm Michelle Sanders, I'm from the Orange County. And because LA is just beside us, I shop and practically live there. I made many friend in LA and most are from the my county.

I am an upcoming freshman, and my choice of school is Berkley cause most of my cousins are attending the school. But, my parents wanted me to go to their Alma Mater, the place they first met. They wanted me to met my future husband there to.

Romantics really!

So, UCLA here I am!

Two weeks before school starts I arrived in my new abode together with my mother and my tons of things. I'm quite unlucky because I was supposed to stay in a Suite so that I could have my own room, but there were no available Suites left. So, I was forced to go to the next most convenient room, the Plaza. Of course, I chose the double room, I cant fit in a Triple.

And I'm not that quite unlucky yet, because a double room was still available. So, I was transferred to De Neve.

As I enter the room, what greets me is a huge window in my opposite end. Then to my right are 2 cabinets and to my left is the bath room door. I opened the cabinets and the second cabinet, away from the door, is full of things.

'This must be my room mates', I thought.

I walk further in to the room, towing behind me are my mother and the movers, I was greeted with two single beds against the walls opposite each other with desks adjacent to them.

The one in my right is unoccupied. And the one in the left side, has comforters and sheets and the desk have school supplies on it.

'So, room mate must have choosen that side, then this bed must be mine', as I look at the right bed.

I look around the room and in front of those big windows are two drawers, and the left side has things on it, so mine is the right drawer.

Since my roommate elevated her bed to put drawers below, I copied it and put my hundreds of clothes and shoes below my bed.

As my mother continue to instruct the movers what to do, a girl came in.

I looked at her, head to toe, my first impression;

'Wow! She's beautiful'

I've seen many beautiful faces, example is "yours truly", but this girl is really a head turner.

She has a long black wavy hair, but I can see red highlights around that beautiful mane of hers, due to the light coming from the window. She also has this very stunning silver eyes, that cant get help but look at. She's' quite tall, around 1.72 meters(5'8") with curves in the right places and adding to that is a clear fair skin that accentuate her beautiful features.

'This girl is stunning!'

"Hi, I'm Emma Slone. You must be my room mate?" She said while smiling at me.

I continue to look at her for couple of seconds, accessing her. I thought, 'So, this stunning beauty is my room mate for the next 4 years.'

"Yes, Im Michelle by the way." I answered her then my mother interrupted;

"Hello dear! I'm Macy Sanders, Michelles' mother, nice to meet you." She said smiling at Emma while shaking her hands.

She answered facing my mother; "Hello Mrs. Sanders, nice meeting you to. I thought you were the big sister of Michelle?!"

"Oh dear!," mother said laughing happily, "you jest!"

'Oh! She even knows how to tickle the ego of my mother', I thought as I look at them.

"Come dear lets get an afternoon snack." She continued to talk to Emma as they walk away from me, not even noticing that they left me in the room.

'Wow! My mother just abandon me!'

From then on, Emma and I have become fast friends, becuase she took away the unwanted attention my mother has for me.
