2 2030-07-27: You're an ancient vampire?!!!

"Good morning, Vampire Princess," the vampires do a neck bow as they greet her while Milla sits comfortably on the chair. The vampire princess walks towards her with an arrogant aura, "Aren't you gonna greet me?"

Dionne and the woman from earlier block her way, "Get out of my way!" Dionne politely says, "We advise you not to get too close to her, Vampire Princess."

"She can't hurt me, I'm a vampire princess," the vampire princess proudly proclaims. The two vampires get out of her way and they all spot Milla relaxing on her chair with her eyes close.

The vampire princess becomes annoyed so she tries to grab Milla's arm to pull her up. But, Milla is faster as she hinders the vampire princess's hand and pushes her away- causing her to almost land on the floor, she should be thankful for Dionne and the woman for catching her. Milla mumbles but everyone hears it, "So weak."

"How dare you! You'll pay for this!!"

A very very slightly faster blur than the elite vampire guards arrives beside the vampire princess, "What's happening here?"

"Dad, that woman pushed me!" The vampire princess points her finger at Milla while the vampire king is a little angry, "What are you waiting for? Arrest that woman."

The elite vampire guards take a glance at each other but they do not intend to move. Noticing this, the vampire king roars, "What are you scared of? Fine, I'll do it myself!"

The vampire king sprints to Milla's location but she suddenly disappears. In an instant, he feels something painful at the back of his neck, "Don't move or I'll behead you. Now, tell me who's stupid enough to wake me up?"

"Wake you up? What... are you talking about?" The vampire king asked Milla and for the first time in his life, he feels scared. The situation makes the seething Dianne shouts at Milla, "You have no right to threaten the vampire king like that!"

Milla, on the other hand, doesn't even look in her direction. She speaks with a somber expression, "I can behead you, faster than they can get here. Tell them not to take even a single step forward."

"Nobody move!" The vampire king orders with a hint of nervousness in his voice.

The captain of the elite vampire guards arrives on time with an old woman and a young man. "Dad, what's happening here? Oh, hi beautiful! I'm Steve, the vampire prince. You are?"

The vampire princess becomes furious at her frivolous and flirtatious brother, "Steve, are you stupid?! Can't you see that she's threatening our dad?!"

"Who's the oldest vampire here?" Every time that Milla says anything, the room turns to silence.

The old woman answers her, "That's me, young lady."

Milla scowls at the old woman, "What? Where's Lucinda and her family?"

"We don't know who you're talking about, there's no Lucinda here or any vampire that we know of," the vampire king responds immediately, thinking that it will stop this madwoman.

While Milla is processing everything, she spots several magazines on top of the table with the year 2030 on it, no matter how small the numbers are. Milla's thoughts run like this, 'It's not the year 1730, anymore... I slept for 300 f*ckin' years. But, where are the other vampires I knew? This old woman, why is she old? Why did she age? Then, who the hell woke me up? Stupid new vampires-'

The vampires think that Milla's preoccupied so it is a good time to attack and restrain her. Milla holds the vampire king on his neck and shirt, then throws him to the captain of the elite vampire guards. Two vampires men help in catching him and the others fall back since they already have witnessed her strength before. But, the naive Steve continues to dash forward.

Milla welcomes him with a choke on his neck, lifts him up, and throws him to the floor with her foot on his chest. Steve jokingly says even though he's hurt, "Oh wow. Will you be my woman?" Milla intensifies her weight in her foot, crushing Steve's chest a little, "Aww oww ow, I'm just joking!"

Surprisingly, Milla takes her foot off his chest and lends her hand to help Steve stand up. He doesn't think twice and accepts her hand which is cold but smooth. Milla looks around her and sits, "Relax, everyone. You may all sit." The vampires all sit on the couches with the 'go signal' of the vampire king.

"My name is Milla Valentiana. You haven't heard of my name? Of my reputation?" The vampires all shake their heads. "What about the vampires from the year 1700? Have you heard of them?"

The vampires unconsciously cover their mouths and Steve, the nearest one to her talks in a hushed tone, "Why do you have to mention them? No one's allowed to talk about them since I can remember. I have no idea but I think the Grand Elder knows about it."

"Do you want me to run after the vampire outside?" They all look at Milla like they've seen a ghost.

The vampire king can't help but exclaim, "You heard the Shadows? No one can hear them except their master. There's no need to run after the shadow, he'll be here soon..."

"This master of the 'Shadows', he's the only one who knows about the vampires from the 1700 and the only one who can freely talk about it?"

Steve intervenes, "You said it again, oh no, we're all doomed. But, the answer to your question is yes."

The vampire king who can't believe the boldness of Milla, joins in, "How can you not know any of this? Young lady, didn't your parents tell you?"

"I'm older than you, actually. What's your age?" Milla seriously speaks but they don't take her words in a serious light.

The vampire king nervously laughs a little, "I just turned 50, young lady."

"That makes me... 273 years older than you."

Steve chortles while the rest of the vampires suppress their smiles. Until an uncanny silence envelops the living room when they realize that she is dead serious based on her unchanging expressionless face. Dionne stands up, in a flash, "You're an ancient vampire?!!!"

The rest of the vampires can not believe what they have just heard and found it hard to process, except for one vampire. Dionne kneels in front of her with only one knee on the ground and his head almost touching his bent forearm in front of him, "Please be the very first Vampire Empress! I'm sorry, Vampire King, but we need someone like her. Someone who can defeat him."

"You're right. Milla, please be the Vampire Empress," the vampire king bows to Milla. Seeing the vampire king bowing, all of them follow suit- the Grand Elder, vampire prince, and princess bow while the elite vampire guards kneel like Dionne, "Please be the Vampire Empress."

Still unaffected, Milla asks them, "Does it work like this? Am I immediately the Vampire Empress? Are your approvals enough?"

"Uhh... basically yes, but we still need the approval of the other Grand Elders. Rest assured, they will definitely approve of it. But, we are serious that we want you to lead us all," the vampire king answers.

"Who's this man you're all scared of?" Milla speaks as she closes her eyes and leans on the backrest.

The vampires glance nervously at each other before the vampire king responds, "You'll meet him later because he'll surely visit us."

"Can't wait," Milla unenthusiastically mumbles but she's still fearless. "Can you give me some change of clothes?"

Steve answers with the question, "Where do you want to stay, future Vampire Empress?"

"Any bedroom will do but I like to be alone," Milla lazily responds.

The vampire king nudges her daughter, "My princess and Dianne will show you to your room. Give Milla some change of clothes, also." With that being said, Milla jogs to the 4th floor in her vampire speed.

No one sees Milla hesitate for an attosecond which is ten raise to (negative eighteen) second, the billionth part of a nanosecond which is the billionth part of a second before she makes a step on what it looks like a floating glass stair for her. While she speaks in her mind, 'What a gapeseed! Why is it flying?' With her intrepidity, she jogs through the stairs.

After thirty seconds, the two women arrive and Milla asks them, "Where's the roast meat clothes and the bedroom?"

"Roast meat? Clothes? Ahh... clothes," Dianne guides Milla to one of the special guest rooms which are the farthest rooms on the left side of the hallway. For vampires like them, the farthest the better, because they differ on the scale of distance that they can clearly hear anything. They lead her to the last room and it bemuses Milla.

She mumbles as she observes the room, "What a gapeseed, again." She has no experience in living at a large house made of bricks or stone because her house before is made of woods only with a thatched roof, very few furnishings, and dirt floor.
