11 Chapter 10

"Devil Fruits…." Li Qi Ye was pretty intrigued by Yun Xie's story.

It seemed sort of outlandish, but at the same time, believable. Mortals that could shake the earth and manipulate the likes of fire and ice.

Though most cultivators looked down on them, mortals really could achieve greatness…

Putting that aside, they had talked throughout the night and on to the next day. The only reason Li Qi Ye could stay awake was due to his incomprehensible mentality, yet Yun Xie was completely fine.

From what Qi Ye could surmise, Yun Xie had something to do with the characters he had spoken of in his story.

Li Qi Ye had never heard of the East Blue or Grand Line throughout all his travels.

Probably a lower realm of some sorts that had appeared more recently.

"Anyway…. Sorry for taking up a good part of your day… See ya." Yun Xie waved and shot off into the early morning sky.

Li Qi Ye went back inside, ready to practice the Dual Blade technique.

A few Days Later…..

"So, we are gonna go to this….. Seven Devils Nine Saint Doors Sect?" Yun Xie gnawed ona piece of beef jerky.

"Nine Saint Demon Gate…." Nan Huai Ren sighed.

This A'h Sier guy was pretty irritating sometimes.

He, along with Li QI Ye suddenly showed up out of all expectations. Though at least Yun Xie was not as arrogant and bigheaded.

Protector Mo coughed awkwardly, and they soon made their way off, walking to the entrance of the sect, where a few disciples sent them off.

"So….. Everyone is in 'secluded' cultivation, and could not come…" Yun Xie took out some dried mango, before preceding to eat it.

"Yes, senior." Nan Huai Ren saw Yun Xie's fiery display in person, so he dared not talk so casually to him.

Yun Xie did not really care either, and just got into the small boat, which they would use to travel to Nine Saint Demon Gate.

It looked just like a normal wooden fishing boat save a few details, like the huge mast that somehow shone in the sunlight, and a giant jade embedded into the front of it.

They soon got on, and the boat lifted off, into the sky.

A Few Minutes Later…..

"Seriously?" Yun Xie muttered.

"Hmmm…?" Protector Mo turned to him.

"Nothing, sorry..." Yun Xie scratched his head.

Yun Xie had been thinking about the many things he could have done with the creation quirk….. Well, mostly about the different types of food he could taste. Then, something hit him. Enlightenment.

His Creation Quirk was not just restricted to food. Yun Xie thought about this for a moment and contemplated his stupidity. Well, it was a given as being reincarnated in another world can really screw a person's mind over. But Yun Xie had been in this world for a few years now, and he had not thought of it....

AWP! That was the first thing he thought of….

Despite not playing CSGO much in his previous life, the idea of having a one seemed pretty cool. Coupled with the countless accuracy skills in Anime and manga, it would be pretty devastating, well, on mortals and canon fodder cultivators.

But... [Amplify] and [Bypass] could probably boost the limits of the quirk…. What could he create then?

Yun Xie cackled loudly.

"....."

"Is this guy okay?"

"..."

"Sorry." Yun Xie stopped and instead began to enjoy the wonderful view.

"...."

"....."

They sailed over giant mountains, and verdant thousand-year-old forests, across rivers and villages, with people looking up in the sky with awe.

Then, Yun Xie saw it. It was filled with even more majestic forests and mountains, that probably spanned millions of miles, and majestic palaces in the sky. Quite the sight indeed.

Yun Xie smiled, and the boat slowly drifted downwards, before stopping at the front of a majestic gateway.

It was large, made of some exotic type of wood, with a giant imposing plaque that would make one shudder in awe.

In front of the gate, stood three people. A wizened old man with an impressive and imposing aura, and two of what seemed to be his disciples.

Protector Mo greeted the lot and engaged in a conversation.

"Is this the prime disciple?" The now revealed Sectional Leader Fu squinted at Li Qi Ye, sort of disdainful of him.

"That is correct, Li Qi Ye is the prime disciple of our sect." Protector Mo sighed, smiling bitterly.

The Sectional Leader nodded and led them into the sect.

The group walked down the road and arrived at a meeting chamber, which was used for entertaining guests. Of course, this was used only for entertaining guests of little importance, as for some reason, they did not really care about the engagement….

Yun Xie sat still, bored out of his mind. Waiting, for the more exciting things to happen.

Li Qi Ye was practicing his Invisible Dual Blades technique, and Protector Mo, was sort of awkward at the moment, so all he could do was sit there and think.

At that moment, he was thinking about the manga "Toriko". Besides some pretty overpowered abilities, there was also another factor....

The food. Toriko, though sadly axed in the end, had so many different unique types of food, that he may be able to create with his Creation quirk.

The possibilities were endless, though Yun Xie could not just manifest the likes of Jewel Meat, or Ozone Grass, because... Some people are sort of.

Well, enough to be said.

Yun Xie decided to just manifest a Moomoo fruit for some reason. It was a fruit in the series that had left a great impression on him. They were rich fruits that have insides filled with peach-flavored milk, quite the delicacy.

He thought of the fruit, and, soon, a peach sat in the palm of his hand. It was pretty big, a few inches bigger than his hand.

It was bright vibrant pink, and had quite the scent, as soon, both Li Qi Ye and Protector Mo turned around, looking for the source of the fragrance.

Yun Xie positioned it upwards, as to not let any of the milk spill, and took a bite.

The wonderful fresh sweet taste of the peach combined with the peach flavored milk created quite the delightful combination. Both filling and sweet, Yun Xie was pretty happy with how it turned out.

"Hmmm….." Li Qi Ye stared thoughtfully. Another thing that stumped him. Yun Xie was a complete anomaly that Qi Ye could not relate to anything. It just seemed like he was a complete mortal, yet there were so many weird things about him….

Meanwhile, Yun Xie happily finished the fruit, creating a tissue and wiping his mouth.

Though the fragrance still held, the room went back to normal, with Li Qi Ye swinging the two blades through the air, which traversed like butterflies in the early morning. Fluttering and unpredictable, yet also graceful.

Nan Huai Ren had returned from whatever he was doing before, and watched in earnest respect at Li Qi Ye's efforts.

He sighed. "What impeccable blade play, Senior DIsciple is so diligent."

Yun Xie walked up to Nan Huai Ren patting him on the back. "You are probably thinking, 'What a pity, he is still just a mortal' right?"

Nan Huai Ren looked up at Yun Xie in shock.

This guy…. Is really good at reading a person….

"Don't look down on him….. In the world of cultivation, talent, though very helpful, is not the greatest a cultivator has…." Yun Xie watched, as Li Qi Ye twirled away.

Nan Huai Ren nodded, cupping his hands. "I will take those words into consideration, Senior."

"To reach the apex, one must never strive away from self-improvement." Li Qi Ye sighed, wiping the sweat off his forehead.

"I will also take these words into consideration, Senior Disciple." Nan Huai Ren once again sighed in regret. "By the way, this is my Big Brother Zhang, a good friend of mine."

A tall ordinary-looking disciple nodded slightly.

"Why don't we take the scenic route around the sect?" Nan Huai Ren suggested awkwardly.

A Few Minutes Later….

Yun Xie walked with the rest of the group of disciples throughout the sect.

He had somewhat gotten used to it and did not stare in awe at the many sights and such.

In the distance, a few disciples ridiculed the bunch.

"A mortal wanting to marry Senior Li? Rotten chopsticks wanting a gold bowl; why not look into the mirror to see how lowly you are? "

"Trash from a third-rate sect."

"Worthless…"

Yun Xie, unlike the rest, showed his irritation. Even though he did not really care about the reputation of the Cleansing Incense Sect, it was a pretty nice place actually.

"These disciples are quite annoying…." Yun Xie complained a little, prompting Disciple Zhang to look at him in disdain.

'You dare badmouth the sect? Who even are you, you piece of trash!"' Were Disciple Zhang's thoughts for a second before...

'Conqueror's Haki.'

An imposing aura suddenly billowed out, causing all of the disciples, even the ones that were not involved to quake in fear.

Disciple Zhang's face whitened a little. This guy….. Probably had a technique to suppress his cultivation completely….

Li Qi Ye's eyes widened for a split second, before going back to his normal, arrogant attitude. 'This….. Is this the Haki described in his story? How interesting….'

Soon, the disciples left, leaving the group alone on their tour.

'Thank god I did not say anything…' Disciple Zhang's heart was still somewhat beating. In the Sect rules, it was stated that as long as no killing or murderous intent was released, they could not do anything to the guests.

"Heh. Much better." Yun Xie sighed, not having to listen to any of those losers insulting him.

Most of the disciples around were just normal ordinary members of the sect, so they would probably not get into the "Courting Death" situation, and ask their ten generations for help…

They walked down a neat stone-tiled road towards what seemed to be an arena, Yun Xie smiled. The drama was about to start....
