Chapter Five

I stretched my arms out, feeling really warm as I struggled to sit up. Opening my eyes, I realized where that warmth came from—a body was sitting on top of me. To make matters worse, it was a naked body. My eyes widened as I realized Dark was laying on top of me, completely bare.

Scrambling out from underneath him, I realized that the warmth left me and I was freezing. Looking down at myself, I realized I was also bare of the articles of clothing. Confused by the image in front of me, I scan the room, seeing that Sean, Anti, and Mark are also passed out naked on the floor. Our clothes were haphazardly strewn across the room, shirts on lamps, pants on desks, and even underwear on beds.

Feeling a sharp pain shoot through my head, I clutch it, trying to ease the pain away. What happened last night?

I felt something rise in my throat. Immediately knowing what it was, I rush myself into the bathroom, lifting the toilet seat up and disposing of the contents from last night. Once I felt it was all over and down, I flushed the toilet, washed my hands, and swished water in my mouth. My head still hurt like I got hit with a metal baseball bat, but I tried to ignore the pain.

Heading back into the room, I tried to recall what happened last night, but digging through my memories I couldn't remember any of it. The last thing I remembered was playing Call of Duty with the guys—wait.

     We drank, didn't we?

Completely frustrated with myself, I went through my drawers, grabbing the first dress I could find as well as some undergarments. I immediately went into the connecting hallway and entered the bathroom, turning on the shower and entering the small area. Sighing with content at the heat that poured down my back, I closed my eyes, absorbing the steam and water that was around me.

     "Come on, it'll be fun!"

Turning around, I tried to place the voice, only for my eyes to land on nothing. Shaking it off, I grab my loofa and pour my body wash onto it.  I watched the soap form as I scrubbed myself down, making sure not to miss a single spot.

"The room's right this way. I'm sure she won't mind."

Dropping the loofa, I grabbed my shampoo, washing my hair with the item as the water washed off the soap on my body.

"Yes, Rick. You know you want this."

My eyes shot open at this statement, they raced and searched the area around me, looking for the source of this noise.

     "K-keep going. Yes! Faster!"

I clutch my head, my fingers digging into my hair and the skin beneath. Why back to that night?

Unable to continue concentrating on the task in front of me, I quickly rinse my hair out and turn off the water. I scrambled around the bathroom, throwing on the navy blue dress I grabbed and brushing my hair while doing my makeup.

"(Y/n)! Get your ass back here!"

I clutch my head once again, trying to find a way to rid myself of the voices. I quickly finished what I was doing and entered the room I woke up in, still seeing the boys naked. I closed my eyes and placed a hand over my eyes as I gently kicked the one closest to me.

"Oof," he said. Sean.

"Come on, guys, get up! We are going to be late for our first day!"

Upon hearing these words, the rest of the bunch slowly woke up. I could hear some groaning while others gasped, seeing their friends stark naked.

"Come on! Get dressed. I'm leaving with or without you in ten minutes."

I heard tons of rustling in front and behind me. Anti and Dark—I assume—went into their room to get changed while Mark and Sean changed in here.

"You can open your eyes now," I heard Mark say.

I removed my hand from my face and opened my eyes, squinting and blinking a couple times to adjust. Looking at the males in front of me, I saw that Mark and Sean both had deep crimson blushes on their faces. They looked at me with a questioning glance—an expression that was commonly used so much that I knew the question they were going to ask.

I shook my head 'no.' They both let out a breath of relief. "We are never doing that again," I said. "There's a reason I don't drink."

They nodded their heads in agreement. Soon enough, Dark and Anti emerged from their rooms, heading into mine. Anti had a small blush dusted across his features and a small glare sent at Dark. Dark, on the other hand, had a huge shit-eating grin plastered across his face as he continued to look at me, reminiscing about last night. I rolled my eyes in annoyance before grabbing my backpack, wallet, phone, and dorm keys.

"I believe they're serving breakfast in the cafeteria if you guys want to join me." Without waiting for a response due to how hungry I was, I opened the door and left, heading towards the elevator that lead downstairs.

Entering the elevator, the four males packed in with me, the group of us heading to the lobby. Once the doors opened, I quickly strode towards the one place that served food. The males followed me across the dormitory entrance and through the sidewalk-paved area, heading to the entrance of the cafeteria.

"Hey slow down," Sean said, slowly keeping up with the group. I eased my pace back a bit.

     "Sorry. I'm just hungry."

     Mark chuckles. "You're always hungry."

I smile. "That's because I burn so many calories trying to run away from you and towards the food."

     He laughed again.

"How far do you guys go back again?" Anti asked, seeming to be interested for once.

"Like we said, basketball season. We discussed this the other day," Mark stated, clearly confused.

Anti and Dark looked at each other, seeming to share a small chat as they then look back at us. "I see," Dark said, almost too...unusual.

I shrugged, picking up speed once again as we entered the cafeteria. I immediately hopped into one of the lines, grabbing as much food that I could possibly eat in the next thirty minutes before paying and finding a small booth to sit in. The males quickly followed behind me, their plates full as well.

We quickly dug in, silence enveloping the air between us after the events that occurred last night. Then, the silence became too much for me.

"Do you guys want to go check out the basketball court tomorrow? We could at least get back into gears for when the season starts back up again."

Dark and Mark stared at me as if I just told them I'd eat a dog.

      "What?" I asked.

"The courts are going to be packed for the next couple of days after classes. The best time we will have to be there is when they're empty, which would have to be roughly ten at night." I stared at Dark with a blank look. "Hey, I have some sense of night vision. I think it'd be cool to practice near dusk. Heightens the other senses, you know?" Mark and Sean nodded in agreement, Anti awfully silent as he finished his food.

"I guess we could do that. Depends on—"

"What's up, whore?" A hand smacked against the table causing the plates to lift up an inch and smack back down. I look up, my eyes locking with Bedelth's. Today she wore a red crop-top with a really short black pencil skirt. Her brown hair was pulled back in a ponytail, revealing her slender shoulders. I noticed her nails were repainted red with white diamonds on them, the one I broke obvious amongst the others. This time, I even noticed how her red pumps made her appear taller than she actually was.

"What do you want, Bedelth?" Anti asked, the words bitter.

She cut a glance over at him before her eyes landed back on Dark and Mark. "I happened to overhear your little discussion. At the mention of playing basketball, I couldn't help but walk my sexy ass over here to see if I could join."

     "No way in hell—"

"That way," she cuts me off, seeming to fume, "there's an even number of players."

I blink at her. My mind comprehending what she just said before I burst out in giggles. "You're hilarious!" I said, everyone's eyes on me. "I didn't know you could count!"

She knitted her brows together. "I'm not some dumb ass like you."

My face no longer is contorted with laughter, it's now back to its regular straight form. "Now, let's hear the real reason why you want to play basketball with us," I said, folding my arms over my chest.

"Why not? I love basketball." I glared at her.

"You never tried out for basketball—you know nothing! For crying out loud, you despise even the smallest piece of sports!"

"Now, now, little ho. Some people change—"

This woman was on my nerves. She's always trying to get what ever she wants without a care in the world. With my anger coursing through my veins, I stood up. "You're damn right people can change but you're fucking wrong when you think you're one of those people. You're nothing but a low-life wanna-be Barbie doll who hangs out with a stripper pole all day, just waiting—hoping—that some hunk will come along that just wants your non-existent pussy for use."

She stares at me, her eyes narrowed as if she's ready to fight. "You know nothing about me you son of a—"

"You're right. I know nothing about you. But it's the same for me. You know nothing about my family. You know nothing about my friends, you know nothing about me. All you care about is having an intimate relationship with every god damn man on this planet. You are a disgrace to everyone. I don't even see how people want to be you."

She leaned over the table, her chest popping out for the boys to see as she points an accusatory finger at me. She spoke low as she said, "Listen here you piece of shit. I've been at this game longer than you ever will. I know more than you could ever hope for. I will be here for the rest of your god-damned life. You better start treating me with the respect I deserve or else."

"Or else what?" I bite back, ready to crush her windpipe if she so happened to breathe wrong.

     "It won't be pretty."

She leaned back, staring at the males who's eyes lock with mine in only what I can assume is respect.

"Now! How about that basketball practice again? I can't wait to see you all at the court tomorrow at ten! Don't be late." With that, Bedelth sashayed away, swinging her hips in hopes of receiving the undying attention from the males.

Not hungry anymore, I excused myself from the booth, throwing away my tray as I threw all my belongings into my backpack, picking up the larger items as I sped out of the cafeteria and into the parking lot.

     "Wait!" I don't stop, I don't turn, I don't reply; I just keep walking.

Seconds later, the footsteps approach closer at a faster pace as I heard a slight sigh of heavy breathing behind me. A hand is soon placed on my shoulder, one much smaller than Dark or Mark's, and much softer than Anti's.

"Hi, Sean," I said, still calling him by his real name.

"(Y/n), what you just did back there was awesome. You really have a great way with comebacks."

I stifled a giggle. "Thanks, I think?"

He nodded. "Meant as a compliment."

I smiled. "Then, thanks."

He chuckled slightly.

We continued walking in silence across the parking lot, his arm and hand occasionally brushing against mine as we walked in sync, headed towards the building where our first day of academics would begin.
