~Rain~

Rain'd POV

I continued to limp crying in the process as i remembered everything that happened, i realized that i'm all alone, my family and friends and pack are all gone forever, never to comfort me when i'm sad, no one to talk to about my problems, no one to hang out and play with, and most of all no one to love me and sing me songs to cheer me up. Upon thinking of all of this the tear started to flow more rapidly blurring my sight. Im too broken to even notice that i have fallen down i from of a fox crying.

Why?! Why did this have to happen to me? i continued to ask myself what would of happened if i stay, either id be spared or i could of died happily with my family, friends and pack

Dawn's POV

I watched as a cat fell down in front of me, after a few minutes i noticed she had a fish tail and was bleeding. Getting a little worried i nudged her with my paw, when i noticed she was crying and fell asleep i turned to my other form and picked her up and carried her back to the others not caring about the fact that I didn't want to see night.

After a walk of about five minutes i arrived in the clearing we were staying in, calling for midnight i set the little kitty down on a pile of leaves and went back to my fox. After i licked the blood off my paws i started to trend the cat's wounds.

Midnight's POV

Once i heard Dawn call for me i got happy, but when i neared her what i saw worried me. A little kitten was lying on a pile of leaves and Dawn tending to her wounds, not wanting to startle Dawn i stayed put and waited until she was down. Once she was she turned to me and motioned with her tail for me to come closer. Obeying her i got up and waled closer to her now sitting next to the kitten. I looked up at Dawn with a questioning look. She just shrugged and told to stay here and keep an eye on the kitten while she washed off in the river. Obeying once again i curled up around the little to keep her warm. After a minute or so i felt something wet on my fur and noticed the kitten crying, being the motherly type i am i softly sung to her whislt wondering what happened.

As i sang i noticed the kitten stopped crying and snoring softly. I smiled and watched as her side moved up and down steadily.

" How's she doing? " i looked up to see down looking at me her fur slightly still wet

" I think she is getting better sleep than she was awhile ago " i replied now looking lovingly down at the kitten. i heard Dawn giggle and looked up to see her smiling with actually joy sparkling in her eyes.

" Look at who's already in love with the little one " said Dawn lying down next to me now softly sing a song her mother used to sing. I smiled as i slowly drifted off into sleep, the onl i could hear was Dawn's angle like voice...
