Third POV

Dawn let the tears fall as Midnight hunted. She knew she had yyo keep it together, to keep it in but after awhile she just had to let it go. Hers ears perked up and she hears a bush rustle, frozen in fear dawn stops breathing. Dawn was about to run when a male fox slowly cones stalking out the bush. Once he saw dawn he stopped dead in his tracks. Forgetting the fear dawn noticed that he was bleeding, badly. Dawn stalked up to the make just as he fell to the ground.

" oh my god! " dawn ran over to the male fox and stopped beside him. Pressing her ear against his side she could feel and hear the heart beat and steady breathing, sighing dawn slowly moved the fox to a pile of leaves.

" god, you are heavy " said dawn as she lied the male fox down on the leaves. Dawn tended to the wounds on the fox. When she was done her paws, and tail were covered in blood.

Few hours later

Midnight's POV

When I was finished hunting I walked back to where dawn was, I stopped when I smelled blood.

" omg! " I dropped the food and ran to the blood smell when I reached it dawn was gone and on a pile of leave was a male fox passed out, I looked around for dawn and found her cleaning blood off of her in the river

" thank god " I muttered to my self. I walked back over to the unconscious male fox. I wonder where he came from I thought as I checked him, when I got to his side I saw fur matted with blood.

" I don't know what happened " I spun around and saw dawn drenched in water,

" oh " I said looking back at the fox. I walked over to him and pawed at him a little,

" huh? " groaned the male fox starting to stir. The male fox opened his eyes to slits, even though they were barely open I could see that his eyes were violet,

" just like Dawn's " I muttered

" what's like mine? " asked dawn sitting down next to me.

" oh, n-nothing " I said trying to change the subject slightly.

" kk " said dawn pawing Thru male fox to get up. I sighed, it worked. The male fox groaned slightly as he woke up fully.

" ah! " yelped the fox slightly jumping backwards. Dawn slowly walked up to him

" shhh, its OK we aren't gonna hurt chu " said dawn now a tail lengths away. The male fox started to shrink back, but when he saw Dawn's violet eyes he stopped and looked at her.

" e-ello " stuttered the fox letting dawn sit in front of him.

" hi, I'm dawn and this is midnight " said dawn pointing at me

" h-hi dawn and midnight " said the fox seeming a little shy

" hi " I smiled and sat down. The male fox looked back at dawn. He seemed like he was under a spell or something by that at he wouldn't stop.

Shaking his head the fox said"h-hi I'm,.....
