Dawn's POV

"Night!" i yelped, forgetting i hate the water i jumped into the raging water after night. trying to churn my paws i made my way to night. i was sure i was close to him when i was dragged underwater. as i was submersed under the water i tried to swim back up, my lungs started to cry for air, and when i thought it wasn't gonna happen i felt hands grab me by my scuff. as i was pulled up i pawed at the water trying to help.

" Would you stop it"asked a sorta deep voice. as i emerged from the water i saw midnight swimming to a little slit of land, i looked above me and saw a boy looking about my age when i'm in my human form.

"N-night?"i asked looking less confused than most. Night smiled, i wanted to smile back but, it might look weird with me as a fox. i thought about changing back but then i would be naked, not my ideal way to do so.

I looked at nights face as he carried me to where midnight was. Setting me down, night changed back to his fox form. i was tackled by midnight just as i got up, yelping in surprise i fell backwards on to night.

" get off of me" said night in and irritated voice. i got off of him quickly blushing in the process.

" S-sorry " i said blushing.

" Whatever " said night sounding more irritated then before. As i got off of him i noticed him turn a slight red, knowing that he blushed helped me a little in a weird way i didn't quite understand. After saying sorry i hopped up into a tree, looking off into the star filled night sky i fell asleep.
