183 Suppressing the Troops by Force

Jumping down and landing before the troops, she opened a hand to invite them to fight. "All of you come at me."

"Pff, who do you think you are?" called out of the men.

Lucifer stepped forward to take action only to be waived off by Aida. She didn't mind beating these people into submission, it was good to get a little bit of exercise every now and again. "No one, but are you afraid to fight?"

"Hah? Who are you kidding?" A large man whose arms were as thick as Aida's waist charged forward and threw a first towards Aida's face. The Green Base troops were outraged by his cheap and dishonorable attack, but no one was worried for Aida's safety.

Not reacting or dodging, she allowed him to approach her. The moment when the fist was about to make contact with her face, she simply grabbed his fist and sent some electricity through him. He fell to the ground in an instant.

"Hah, nothing but a loser," sneered Aida.

Incensed by her comment, the Orange Base troops began shouting insults at her, clearly unconvinced. Aida simply gestured with her hand, telling them to come fight.

At first they were attacking her individually. After realizing it wasn't effective, they began forming groups to attack her instead. While it took Aida a little more time to get rid of each person without fatally injuring them, she still managed to do it with relative ease. In the end, they organized themselves into groups based on abilities and began to attack her in formation.

Sadly for them, their defenses were too weak and Aida immediately escaped the encirclement and used their attacks against each other.

Everyone in the Green Base troop sent a prayer to them and wished them luck. They may have been enemies a minute ago but now they could only feel sorry for Orange Base for inducing the ire of this demon. It also further solidified the loyalty they had towards Aida.

Lucifer looked upon this scene thoughtfully. While it was unorthodox, Aida had managed to bring out the abilities of everyone from the troops and allowed him to better understand how to utilize them.

In 15 minutes, the troop of 200 people were all lying on the floor, twitching in pain. Aida stood with one foot on top of one of their backs with her clothes completely intact.

She glared at them coldly and announced, "From this point on, you all will listen to my rules. If you are too slow, I will kill you. If you disobey, I will kill you. If you betray me, I will kill you. If you fight amongst yourselves, I will kill you. Do I make myself clear?"

Before the fight, she appeared as a weak and frail woman. However, now she looked even more frightening than the devil himself.

"Y-yes," responded a few members in the Orange troop weakly.

Aida's frown deepened as she asked again in a louder voice, "Do you hear me?"

Frightened by her anger, they all shouted in unison, "Yes Boss!" They had unknowingly adopted the same verbiage as Green Base who they had been laughing at not long ago.

Taking her foot off the person's back, she ordered, "Get in formation."

Ignoring their pains, everyone scrambled to stand up and form lines the same way the Green Base troops had.

Nodding in satisfaction, Aida tossed a glance towards Lucifer before casually walking back into the RV, ignoring everyone else's presence.

The Green Base prisoners had also been standing with the rest of the troops and saw the entire scene. They had completely erased any thoughts of escaping or disobeying. In the end, strengths trumped any other kind of persuasion. Aida had unintentionally killed two birds with one stone.

Inside the RV, Rin and the other kids had been staring out from the window as they saw Aida kick the troops' asses. "Big Sis, you are so cool!!!" Ace gave her two thumbs up with hearts in his eyes.

Aida simply looked at them with helpless expressions, she didn't think she was setting particularly good examples to these kids with her domineering personality. Fortunately, they had Light as an example of a model citizen.

Little did she know, Light had a number of tricky ploys that he regularly played on his enemies that would make him seem far less honorable. The fake news he had Ace create on the base leader in Orange Base was just a subset of what he was capable of. Nevertheless, this was something Aida would learn about later on.

Light had also finished showering and spectated the tail end of her performance as well. He clapped his hands at her effective techniques. If only they had this much power when they were meeting the other bases, things would have gone much more smoothly. He made a mental note to continue training both his abilities but also his Aikido.

Aida smiled at Light, "Congratulations."

The smile dazzled everyone in the room except Xiao Ai who pouted and flew directly into her Mama's face. "Mama, you're doing it again," she complained.

Chuckling, she controlled her facial expression and returned to her usual cold demeanor while placating Xiao Ai.

Quickly recovering, Light smiled warmly and said, "Thank you."

Lucifer walked in with a wry smile as he recalled how Aida subdued the troops. He was envious of her ability to forcefully control the crowd. Similar to Light, he also made a mental note to work harder and improve his own abilities.

He congratulated Light on the upgrade before saying, "Since everyone's here, we should start planning."

Everyone's expressions turned serious. Time was of the essence so they really did need to start moving as quickly as possible. They all stepped out of the RV and walked to a giant tent that the Green Base troops had set up to be their main headquarters.
